Lynx: 1 Fought With Fury: 2 (+4) = 6
Once she stepped into the ring of stones, Firebrand was pleased to see she'd been pit against a lynx. While she would have preferred the caiman, figuring it the most difficult, going up against tooth and claw from a more agile predator promised an entertaining match.
Only, the lynx seemed more distressed than anything, fur puffed out to an almost comical degree as it gave a half-hearted swipe towards the looming doe. Firebrand could only curl her lip in disgust. "This is what you give me?" she looked to the booth-runners, swinging a leg perhaps a bit harder than was called for, punting the hissing (and then yowling) creature right out of the ring. "Next time, make it worth my while!" She rather resembled a lynx herself, with the way she spat and sauntered haughtily away, leaving Death in the Afternoon looking downright indignant. "You're lucky I didn't just kill the useless thing~"

Blue Blood speculated at the notion of it all, the idea to pit beast to beast but in the end his curiosity won out. With a smile he came forward, looking to see what he'd be facing. Or well, he might run away from. He had no intention of getting gored and as he found to be facing a boar? Blue Blood was wondering if he could back out early and take his pride with him.

At first, Blue blood thought they might had had this in the bag. After all, what could be the rost thing that could happen? They got hit a bit? Okay actaully- As Blue Blood was thinking he didn't notice the boar had long ago stopped thinking and had broken into a charge, heading right into the kin's side, causing Blue Blood to yelp in shock before stumbling back. Suddenly very aware that he was not really into fighting, the kin backed away. "I'm out. Done. Call it off, it wins."
Embarassing? Sure. But dang if the boar didn't smart!

Quote: 5. the giant wasp - So the stinger's a little intimidating, but the front half is approachable...right? +6 to your roll. Ahh, a fight! Okay, he generally never fought for sport, nor did he go out looking for one. However, this was all supposed to be fun and games! Besides, his leg was healed up, never mind he had a permanent limp. "No, Adventure... you have to stay put." The caiman huffed and puffed, but obediently let Hero have his 'fight' alone. When Hero turned around, his eyes widened when he saw his opponent. A WASP. He automatically had traumatic memories and look a step back. Yup, he remembered that stinger quite well. Taking deep breaths, the buck limped back to the middle of the ring to meet his DOOM fate. fluorescein I... had to when I rolled the wasp <3 MUCH LOVE

Marshrush was off to another booth. It was the sound of combat that drew him this time and he picked up the pace as he padded closer, ears swiveled forward to catch a hint of what exactly was happening here. Once he had, he wrinkled his muzzle in a smirk and stepped forward to seek out his opponent. "A lynx?" That earned a soft snort. "I'm not afraid of your pointy bits."

Quote: Wasp: 5 ... Hero: 9+6=15 +1 Token Hero took one more deep breath and lunged forward. His heart pounded frantically as he stared his component down. He should have been looking down, however. The buck very ungracefully tripped. His gimpy leg collapsed, causing him to roll to one side and end up on his back, hooves flailing in the air. It was quite the fiasco, but when the dust settled Hero stumbled back to his hooves and looked around for the wasp. It was behind him, on the ground, buzzing in frustration. The buck went to investigate, make sure it was okay. He must have struck in while in his uncontrollable fall. Poor thing, but it must have meant he won. He went up to the wasp to thank it for its efforts and then sheepishly left the stall. Well, that was embarrassing... He looked over his shoulder and shuddered. Yup, wasps still had that effect on him.

(+4 to my roll. Huzzah!) What was that saying? Pride goeth before a fall? Maybe Marshrush should have tackled this little adventure with a dash of humility. Nah, that would have been out of character for the blunt-natured buck. He knew he could fight and he'd survived more than a paw swipe or two in his time. Still, it was quite the dance as the two foes circled one another and traded blows. Lynxes were fast and could be powerful. Marshrush had his size working for him and his ego against. More than once he tucked his head and rolled, and as he felt bits of grime stick to his coat -- and the occasional rock jab him in the back -- he thought of a certain doe who had once tried to teach him the power of mud. Not that it was doing him much in the way of good now. In the end, it was a close match, but Marshrush managed to edge just out of the way of a last, nasty slash. Triumphant, he grinned as he caught his breath and promised, "I'll be back tomorrow to do it again."

Seashell strides confidantly up to the stones, giving the kin and animals a look. "I'll give it a go." he says, waiting for the many-eyed mare to assign him an opponent.
His confidence almost leaves him as he sees the boar let loose into the circle. How was he supposed to best an animal nearly as big as himself? Shaking his head he circles the beast, giving thought to the best method of attack.

Boar: 3 Seashell: 5 - 1 = 4 (+1 token)
Still unsure how to deal with this beast Seashell charges, lowering his head intending to headbutt the beast. Unfortunately he misses, and takes a tusk to the side for his effort. Spinning around he looks his hide over, noting the rough scrape before actually feeling the pain. Lucky for him this boar's tusks aren't razer sharp or he'd be gutted.
Shoving aside the pain Seashell kicks out at the beast, hitting it square in the shoulder. The two circle each other, trading blows back and forth. It's a close battle but finally Seashell is able to land a solid kick to the animal's skull. With a thud the boar falls to the ground stunned.
Before collecting his token he gives the boar a gentle nudge with his hoof, sheepishness and overconfidence warring for dominance in his expression. "Sorry, didn't mean to knock it out. Thanks for the fun." he says, collecting his win and trying to saunter off, despite the slight limp to his step.

Fierce approaches the next exciting looking game, the booths have been particularly active this year, and the challenges far more to her liking than she thought they would be. She notes the trio running the sport, the large crowd, and decides it's worth it to take her chance in the ring. So long as she doesn't find herself paired up against a foxbun she'll be happy. She couldn't bear to fight one of those sweet creatures.

Wasp: 10 Fierce: 4, +6 = 10
A Tie
Of course it would be a Giant Wasp, but Fierce has faced worse things than wasps. Though most things were not nearly as creepy, something about those eyes, and that stinger. Fierce snorts as she makes her way into the ring, digging in against the earth. "Let the creature loose, let's see how it fares!"
Fierce apparently made a mistake in speaking, the wasp looks crazed as it comes at her stinger first. Really it'd looked smaller from a distance! The pair dance around each other for a time. Fierce kicking out with her hind hooves and rearing away as the wasp goes for her underbelly. The wasp buzzing furiously as it darts in at her face, her back, anywhere it thinks it can get at that is unprotected; but fierce is faster.
The two tussle across the earth, kicking up dust, fierce practically hissing as the wasps buzzing intensified. Until the two faced each other exhausted, the wasp drooping in its flight, it's hovering unsteady. Fierce panting for breath, the pair slightly scraped up, but mostly unscathed. Neither willing to budge, yet also unable to beat the other.
"Well then!" Fierce gasped, shaking herself off "Looks like we're at a stand still Wasp." The words were spat with angry pride. Fierce didn't want to walk away from something she couldn't win, but the match was being called a tie. Grudgingly she left the ring, feeling a twinge of respect for the wasps ability to keep up with her. Still she was disappointed in herself for earning what felt like a false win.

Behalf strides into the area again, and feels the temptation to try another fight. "Sure, I'll try this again," he says, feeling decently rested from the day before. Despite a rather weak sad little pangolin being his opponent.

Eaglehound - 5 Behalf - 9 + 2 = 11 It was cute... but not much to fight. Behalf stomped the poor little vicious thing down before it got a chance to bite him like the pangolin did, and he smirked at it smugly. He couldn't help but turn his nose up to the other creatures. "I wish my sister was here, this would be amusing to her too," he said aloud, and concluded he'd gather her up for the next fight to give it a try.

Eaglehound: 1 Odds: 7 + 2 An eaglehound, hm? This wasn't quite the rematch he had been hoping for, but it would be a good warm up! Against All Odds readied himself for battle as the dog began attacking. However, the totoma had the upper hand and easily put the smack-down on the hound right away. Of course, one blow wasn't good enough for the dog. It charged at the brightly colored toma again, and was met head on... literally. Odds smashed his bony head plate into the dog's face, knocking it down. When it got up, the eaglehound limped away whining.
