Username: Owlsomniac Dice Roll: 9 Kin name: Don't Make a Sound Response: Though a bit embarrassed about what happened last time, she supposes the result hadn't been as bad as it might have been. And, at least she'd gotten a token out of it! She decides to try again, today. After all, the booth hadn't been very crowded, and Hush isn't that good with crowds, anyway...
But as she approaches, the place seems even more deserted than she remembers it being last time. And a quick glance around confirms why -- the kimeti who owns the booth is nowhere to be seen. Oh well. She's a little bit disappointed, but the pile of tokens on the booth cheers her right back up, and she takes one with a small smile. Perhaps another time.

Username: Magician Arcana Dice Roll: 1 Kin name: Butterfly Kiss Response: "You're here this time!" Butterfly Kiss looked as if he was going to fall in on himself in excitement. He approached Gecko and noticed the.. Well the lovely giant frog that the other wanted him to kiss. "I'll have you know," Butterfly stated proudly, "I am a very good kisser." And so he locked lips with the frog, which in retrospect, was a terrifble idea. Frogs were, he decided when his lips touched theirs, decidedly icky. Slimy, gross, bumpy, damp, and just all around nasty. But wouldn't this kiss, his magical kissy kiss, turn the frog from a mere frog into a beautiful prince? Motherfather, now that was a miracle worth enduring frog smooches! However, upon pulling back, he realized, sadly, that the frog was not a prince. It was still just a frog. "Oh... Well.." Butterfly bemoaned with downturned shoulders, "I suppose I'm not that good of a kisser after all.." Moonstone Dazzle SAD KISS SAD KISS FROG SMOOCH MUAH

Username: Dizzy_Kat Dice Roll: Kin name: I'll Never Tell Response: I'll Never Tell chuckled as she approached the booth her brother had told her about. How could he have thought the purpose was to kiss the doe running it? Even if he hadn't already warned her she could tell that was most likely the furthest thing from the doe's mind. She wasn't near as repulsed as her brother had been either. They were just frogs after all. They were everywhere in the swamp. He'd acted like he was going to get some awful disease from it and that the doe had maliciously tricked him into kissing the vile creatures. She snorted at the memory. He could have easily turned around and said no and she knew exactly why he'd done it. I'll Never Tell grinned at Gecko's reasoning behind the booth as she overheard it told to another. While she didn't need a prince, the slight roundness developing around her midsection hinting towards the fact that she'd only recently found one on her own, it was worth a shot? As prepared as she'd thought she was I'll Never Tell still pulled back in surprise. A fish?! Gecko's apology made her chuckle. "No harm done. You have good taste." I'll Never Tell winked at Gecko even as she licked her own lips. It could have been worse.

Oh - oh. Lunch? Well, that was fine, then, if its suffering wasn't going to be prolonged. Soothe gave the doe a nervous smile. "I don't know about any princes, but...thank you for letting me know - and for the token!" she said. Then she walked away.
Username: thyPOPE Dice Roll: 8 Kin name: Soothe Response: 150 words of happenings to your kin!
Of course, she was back the next day. Frogs! Frogs were cute! And the booth owner seemed very friendly. (In all honesty, anyone who liked animals was good by Soothe.)
"Hi again," she said cheerfully. "I'm - um, I'm Soothe, by the way. I was just excited about your frogs yesterday, is all - ah," she said, suddenly emboldened now that she felt like she knew the doe. That was a lot more words than usual, though. "I'll close my eyes, and hope you've already eaten?" she giggled. So that she didn't have to kiss a fish again, she should clarify. Especially not one out of water! She supposed she wouldn't have minded kissing one in a pool.
She bent forward for the kiss, but was very surprised to have her lips meet - fur? Soothe's eyes fluttered open. Orange fur? Was that...? Her eyes traveled up the snout, to see...Gecko. Ah. Whoops. She pulled back a little, eyes wide, and turned to the unfamiliar acha who'd suddenly pulled up next to them, eyes narrowed.
"Um," said Soothe nervously. "Um, I thought...no, no, it won't...happen again?" She hoped. Were there really any frogs here? She could certainly see some!

Username: Shiningamisgirl Dice Roll: 7 Kin name: Thunderstep Response: Kissing a toxic frog!? Uh-oh... This booth, more than any of the others, brings Thundersteps steady meandering to a halt. He's not sure if it's the striking doe running the booth, or the strange idea of frog kissing..Either way he steps in to try the game. Thunderstep was hoping to kiss anything else..even the dirt..before that odd looking frog. Sadly luck is not with him today, and he misses the normal frog..and Gecko..entirely..Shocked still by the taste and the overwhelming feeling of nausea. Thunderstep's vision blurrs as he looks for words to say; and instead stumbles off with a token. Nearly tripping over his own hooves as he attempts to mutter what could have been a thank-you..or a curse. Even he's not sure at this point. Thunderstep only hopes that the ground stops moving soon..and the trees..and the sky..."Hurk!"

Username: Lural Dice Roll: 6 Kin name: Dog Response: What was this? Dog approached the kissing booth curiously. This looked like FUN! There were lots froggy things around and does and bucks and a fish... Why a fish? Ah well, he didn't particularly care that there was a fish. He decided he wanted to play whatever this was! His lot was drawn and Dog was supposed to kiss something? Sure! He would have kissed the orange doe, or one of the other booth goers, but Dog, in all his excitement tripped and landed in the mud. He was face to face with toad. "Hello little toad. don't feel left out!" And Dog promptly began to lick the creature's face, as that was how he gave kisses. He didn't happen to notice that his antics had drawn the attention of the orange doe running the booth, so he missed that she was upset. Not that he would have known why she was sad. He got back to his feet as the Toad hopped off. "Bye toad!" He was pleased to learn he walked away with a token as well.

Username: The Cake Mage of Sheep Dice Roll: 3. You feel disinclined to kiss the frog, suddenly. Gecko is sad, but understands. Kin name: Sorrel Response: 150 words of happenings to your kin! Sorrel walks up to the booth, smiling at Gecko and her frogs. "Good morning." she says brightly. She gives each frog a thorough inspection, wondering if she could pick the one she's to kiss. Probably not, that'd be a bit too easy.
Sure enough the bright does doesn't give her a choice, plucking up a frog at random and gently putting it on the stump. Sorrel inspects the amphibian again, noting the pretty blue spots. She's about to lean in and give it a smooch when her stomach gives a lurch, the kind of bad feeling she gets any time she's about to eat something questionable.
"It's not poisonous right?" she asks the doe, it does somewhat resemble the more toxic species. Not that she's a frog expert or anything. "I think I'll just go, just in case." she says, nodding politely at the other doe before turning and walking off.

Username: Jun D Dice Roll: 2 Kin name: Distant Tidings Response: Across the market grounds, Distant Tidings caught a flash of bright orange at the Kissing Booth – it appeared the beautifully fascinating doe was back at her station. Bouquet and tokens snug in the swinging makeshift leaf sling, he trotted back across the fair for a proper go at kissing this time...and he wasn't really fussed which he got to kiss. Up close, the beautifully fascinating doe was even more fascinating...and beautiful. Fascinatingly beautiful, one could say. She was not like the other Kin, that was for sure.
"Good day, miss!" he chirped brightly, weaving a little on the spot, "I came as soon as I could – I heard you had some frogs to kiss! I fancy myself rather an expert in kissing, frogs or otherwise...I've stolen more than my fair share of kisses along the way, I'd say." A bold wink.
"What a fine specimen," he exclaimed as the frog was presented before him, and bowed deeply, eyes closed, "if you would pardon me, dear sir or ma'am."
He did not open his eyes again before rising with a grand flourish and leaning in, puckered up. Perhaps he should have, for in his exuberance, he completely missed the creature and planted face-first in the dirt.
Well.
That was embarrassing.

(+1 token) Kin name: More Love Response: After the disaster of her last attempt at frog-kissing, More Love should have been grateful for the lack of a Geckon anywhere in sight. In truth, she was a little disappointed. Kissing wasn't hard! Kissing was a contact sport, yes, but it wasn't in the least bit dangerous and while practicing could be fun, it absolutely shouldn't be required. Still. She supposed she'd have to wait to prove that point until another time. Spying the pile of tokens nearby, she plucked one off the top and slipped away.

Itch blinks quite a few times, dazed, and suddenly feels very dizzy. He glances over at Gecko and then hiccups once, and then bursts into a wild fit of laughter. He all but rolls over on the ground. “I at least,” -hick- “got to kiss,” -hick- “a frog this time!” He checks out Frog, and smiles down at him, feeling groggy... froggy? “At least you got a smooch out of it too, you cutie little critter,” he smiles goofily. He wobbles to his feet and collects his awkward token from Gecko before striding out into the swamp to tell all his friends. “I got to kiss a frog,” he sings under his breath, and disappears into the swampy mist. Perhaps he’ll come again tomorrow when he sobers up a little, and maybe next time he’ll kiss... well, the right frog. If any frog at all, he hopes!

(+1 token) Username: EchoLimaFoxtrot Dice Roll: 1 Kin name: Quailbeak Response: Quailbeak walked pass the booth. Frogs? They are kissing frogs! No way was he going to kiss a frog! He did see that a few got to kiss the handsome doe as well… maybe he would get lucky. The buck took a step toward the booth but then three steps back. Frogs. Ugh. After walking around a couple other booths, Quailbeak came back to the frog kissing booth. Oh, what did he have to lose? The buck stepped up. If he could pinch his nose, he would. The buck wrinkled his nose but committed to it anyways. He puckered up and gave the frog the quickest kiss he could manage. “Ack! Bleh!” The buck ran to the nearest place he could; wiped his nose and lips; and rinsed his mouth out as well. That was the worst thing ever! He was a fool to even step up to the booth. Never again.

(+1 token) Kin name: Kiss of Death Response: Yuck. Frogs. That was not something that Kiss of Death was looking forward to be doing but she wanted to try and have a good time participating in the interesting events held by other kin in their very own booths. That host though, Gecko, my it was her first time seeing a kin like that. A little bit different, perhaps a bit mutated?, but nonetheless she was beautiful to look at. She watched as all the other kin dove down to kiss one of the slimy frogs. Trying hard to force a smile on her face, she looked at gecko and replied "Gonna kiss a frog just like the rest..." and got distracted by the others having a go at it. When it was finally her turn, however, there was like no frogs and no Gecko to be found! The booth was practically empty... Kiss of Death waited around for a while but there was just nothing for her to kiss or look at except for that tiny pile of tokens left on the table... "Well, I suppose I could help myself to one...?" Without feeling guilty, she went to the other side of the booth and picked up a token. "I was prepared to kiss one of them, or you," she spoke to an empty booth, "but I guess you guys are on your well deserved break. Lucky me, I guess." She didn't look back and pocketed her easy win, ready to check out another booth.

Was anyone here really kissing frogs? Were all the kin here just actors?
Soothe looked suspiciously at the area marked out for this booth. There were a lot of frogs here. They all looked very, very cute. She did very dearly want to kiss one. "C-can I pick?" she asked, but it looked like - ah - the answer was no.
Oh well. She closed her eyes, ready to smooc - oh, no no no. That smell was familiar. That texture was familiar. It was another fish. This one was bigger, and green. But it was still a fish. "Do you need help, um, marking off an area for your lunch?" she asked nervously. Was this all just a trick? There were really frogs being kissed, right? It wasn't some weird fish abuse front?
Who was Soothe to judge? But then...why weren't there any frogs to kiss?
