Wait, she could? Well...Huh. That was something he had to keep in mind next time he decided to try real poisons...
"Good, good!" Beat. "Well, not good on Brinner. Shame!" Wrex gave her a light slap with his tail and fixed her with a most cross look. "Should join anyway! Support friends! Beat enemies into the ground! Winning!!" These were the important things in life.
More slyly, he added, "If really is to be alpha, why back out? Show real strength, will not have problems. Unless is scared~?"

It was all in good fun, yes, between two individuals who appear to be friends. Wrex the monster and his sister. He would encourage her to try out for Bruteball, but it was not in her line of interests. She never liked athletic sport. She was a musician, she was a dancer, she did not part-take in activities that made her strain her body. Bruteball was definitely on that list. It was a contact sport. It was rough, and it can be dangerous. However, Uru let loose a thundering growl when Wrex affronted the younger demon. Brenna was quick to jump from her seat, hands physically pressed up against her brother's thick chest to keep him from jumping at the boil. Leave things be, she was certain a fight would break out. Wrex was a monster who enjoyed fights, it was a primal instinct. Uru was an individual who did not back down from a challenge, an individual that is also instinctively driven to defend his sibling. While he may no longer be in the pack, he was raised to defend his alpha. "Now, you need to simmer down." She hissed at the alumni before turning to point a finger at Wrex. "It is not a matter of strength, Wrex. As a demon, I do not utilize physical prowess like my brother. I work well with magics and FEAR. I am not backing out, I am simply choosing the field in which I do battle. This is just not one fit for me." She sighed. "However, if you wish to fight with me, I would take you up on a spar."

Brute was there, but was far too involved in disentangling himself from some tinsel that had gotten wrapped around his tail at some point throughout the day to really pay much attention to what was going on, especially since nobody was bothering him at his part of the booth, anyways. A shame, really, that nobody felt a desire to show off their strength. He was quickly starting to believe that school was for wusses and scared little weenies. It wasn't until he heard a loud growl that he lifted his head from where he'd been pulling at the tail-tinsel with his teeth, only to swivel immediately to the direction of the source of the sound. Some strange boil and ghoul appeared to be socializing with Wrex, but the boil stranger was behaving in an aggressive manner. Brute knew he probably should wait it out and give his brother a chance to handle this threat himself, but instincts kicked in, and the wyvern narrowed his eyes and curled back his upper lip, before directing a deep, warning growl at the boil.

A flash of teeth challenged the older boil anyway, though he restrained himself. "Magic is not power," he snorted. "Magic is tricks. Cheating. Illusion. Fake-e-try." It had been beaten into him since day one, and he was a dutiful tender to the clan way.
He opened his mouth to agree to spar when he heard Brute's growl. "Is fine," he told his brother. "Cannot fight here, remember? Is just over-protect big weenie," he added with a devious grin at Brenna. "No-one does Brute's challenge. School is weak, we think. Shame. But yes, I will spar! And when is won, you will join team, yes?"
Why make it just a vanilla battle when you could make it a bet?
Without waiting for her answer, he turned to his twin and said, "This one, Brinner, needs training! Will fight her, bring her to team. Make her strong! Not cheat with magic!"

Finding herself rather famished, Megalovania wandered over to this particular booth, head tilted to the side in curiosity. The food smelled... strange, to put it lightly, but the wrath demon was more than happy to try something new.
The monster beckoned her forward to sit, and the moment she sat, she was instantly blindfolded.
"Wh- what..." Came her uttered reply, but she had no more time to think - she smelled food in front of her, and another sound told her that a trash can was scooted closer to her.
Apparently that was for a 'just in case' clause.
Shrugging and grabbing utensils, Megalovania started to work on the food, finding the taste slightly palatable, but... the consistency was awful.
She kept working on the entirety of the plate, growing more and more uncomfortable, figuring that if she could just get through it, it would get better...
It was a distant hope, and one that proved to be false. Megalovania ended up finishing the plate, but after a few moments of getting it down, it only ended up coming back up.
She at least made it to the garbage can, and silently thanked whoever moved it nearer that they had the decency to have that foresight. The wrath demon clung to it hard, her body expelling every bit of food that she had just eaten in a violent and seemingly unending manner.
It finally stopped, and Megalovania was able to breathe again, her body calming down once it realized that all the foreign food was gone and expelled.
Pulling the blindfold off, the wrath demon grimaced and took a napkin from the table, wiping her mouth with distaste and dropping it into the trash can, giving both it and the table a wide berth.
"... the hell was that, anyway?" She didn't expect an answer, and didn't even feel bad for swearing - she only swore in the rarest of instances, and figured that this was a time that had definitely earned it.
She wasn't going to eat that again. Not if she could help it.
But jack damn it, she wanted to try another dish. A different dish.
Her pride as a demon depended on at least trying again.

This time, she waved off the blindfold and shook her head, even when Wrex tried to insist.
"No," She stated, quite clearly. "Absolutely not. I refuse. I will try again, but I'm not wearing the blindfold." And that was that.
When Wrex slid another meal in front of her, she raised an eyebrow at it, not looking too pleased by how it looked. And by the snickers of the monster, she gave the whole situation the benefit of the doubt and figured that now he was just mocking her.
It was infuriating.
Picking up her fork daintily, Megalovania's lip twitched as she cut off a very fine piece of it, placing it into her mouth and grimacing further. When the taste, despite how long she chewed it, became worse, the wrath demon spit it out and shook her head, dropping her utensils on the plate and standing up.
"This is awful. Awful. I can't eat this!" It wasn't even fit for a demon, but monsters... ugh. Don't even get her started on that particular subject.
Grimacing and grabbing a water to rinse her mouth out, she spit out the liquid into the trash can that was still nearby, forcing herself to breathe and try not to think of the trash she had just subjected her mouth to.
It made her miss the grand meals at home.
Sighing and glaring again once the monster dissolved into hapless snickers again, Megalovania shook her head and walked off.
She would not be back to this booth. What a disappointment.

A very monster mentality. Magics, and anything beyond the physical prowess of oneself, was considered cheap and false. For a time, he believed the same, adopting his father's beliefs. However, he was also taught that he was a demon, magic was within him if he liked it or not. If it is there, he should utilize it ontop of what he could already do. He mentally nodded at Wrex's response. However, he was certain that Brenna wouldn't take such a retort just laying down. She was a demon through and through. She relied on her magical abilities as her physical attacks were weak. She was an artful dodger, able to parry and block attacks and wait for the moment to deliver her own. Then again, one good strike could probably topple the ghoul. Uru heard the growl come from nearby, though, bore it no mind. Related, the two monsters. The other was instinctively doing what he had just done for Brenna. "Overprotective... big weenie..." He muttered with a baffled expression. Who uses such name-calling? Honestly, could have done better with a scareling. Brenna huffed. She was going to retort, explain that she was a demon and that magic was what she was good at. It was a skill that she was trained to have just as much as brute strength was trained into the pair of monsters. However, explaining all that would probably be trying to push a screw into plywood with one's pinky. Hard, but do-able. "Well, if you think I am weak, I am the one who gave this one his scar." "Huh?..." Uru questioned abruptly as he noticed the ghoul's thumb pointing at him. It was true, the scar was given to him by her but... the story behind that was a different matter. "I am plenty strong. If you want spar, we'd gladly spar with you. Two on two. Clearly our brothers have given their threat to rip one of our arms off," Brenna smiled coyly, her chin in her hand. They must know by now that Uru was an alumni - he had stated it so - therefore, was much more skilled in combat than the three of them. She was banking on their pride to accept the challenge, and her brother being her brother, wouldn't turn one down either. If the cards fell appropriately into place... she could show them how 'fake' magic can be.
