The not now had been a slip of sorts, a distant thought that he had given voice to without even realizing it. It might have meant something, or nothing at all, because no real decision had been made on his part. Marriage. He just wasn't quite there, yet. It would definitely require more time, and more thought, no matter how logically approached. But living together? That, he was pretty sure, he could handle. And if it didn't work out, well, it wasn't like it would be difficult for Ripley to move back out ....though getting a room on the main floor again might not be easy, as it seemed that they were in high demand at the moment. Though that, and Ripley's question, provided entry into another thought. "Between missions and work around the island, I'm sure it won't be an issue. Having said that, if you're really worried about space, there are houses we could look into." He shrugged, and then chuckled when Ripley pulled away to squint at him, lifting the arm that wasn't beneath the other man so that he could slide his hand around the back of Ripley's head, fingers lacing through his hair to pull him closer. "You have so far, though I honestly don't ******** know how. I'm placing bets on how great I am in bed, though." He grinned, and pulled Ripley even closer still for a long, lingering kiss.

Well, Finn had a point. If they got into another fight - though those had been happening less and less as time wore on - there would be plenty happening to give them both space. Their last big blow out still had them in the same room, after all. They could be fine -
He hadn't considered the option of a house. Finn was a full Hunter…he had the option of one. On one hand, it sounded amazing; their own space, away from everyone else, but with enough room to avoid each other should they get the need to. Though, on the scale of commitment, it was pretty much centred between living together and married. It was pretty amusing at least.
He didn't get the chance to say anything else, as he became quite preoccupied with a very needed kiss. He leaned in as Finn pulled him closer, still enjoying every moment as if he had been without for years. Scarred hands shifted to hold the side of his neck, brushing his jaw with his thumb. When the first kiss ended, Ripley began another. This time, he pressed against the other man insistently, pushing Finn onto his back and rolling to straddle him at the same time. The hands on Finn's neck slid down, ghosting along his arms until he could thread their fingers together, squeezing his warm hands tightly.
"Well…let's move in together first. Officially." He said, once the latest kiss had ended. Moving would be a good start. Since they had almost been living together for a while now, before all this Creation stuff. Ripley heaved a sigh, and lifted one of Finn's hands so he could pin it above his head on the pillows. "Then, when we start driving each other batty-" He pinned the second hand next. "-we can talk about a house." He grinned down at him, and leaned in to n** at his bottom lip.
"As for how I've put up with you: it certainly isn't your charming personality." Ripley leaned down for another one of those long, lingering kisses; the kind they had both been deprived of for months.

Finn started to wonder why they had even been talking at all, when what they were doing now was so much more thrilling. The insistence in Ripley's movements, in both the press of his lips and the way he pushed Finn back, served to remind the moon hunter of what had been missing those last few months. It was all that he had been yearning for, with warm brushes of skin and heated breath against his mouth, and a mutual, indescribable need. He could have basked in the feel of scarred hands tracing along his body for hours and never tire of it. He could live with this man. He could, and he wanted to, and now that the idea was there, in the open, it didn't seem nearly so daunting as it had before when it had been nothing more than an occasional passing thought. So, when Ripley said yes, Finn let out a breath he hadn't even realized he had been holding, his eye closing as he let out a slight chuckle, a sound that was almost disbelieving, and when his eye opened again, it was when Ripley had maneuvered both of Finn's hands over his head, pinning them there. "That." He paused, as Ripley nipped at his lip, blinking, a slow smile beginning to spread across his lips before he continued, "Is inevitable, really." The next kiss was met with as much fervour as Finn could really provide given his position pinned beneath the other man. When they took pause again, whether it be after one kiss or several, eventually he would find an opening to say. "You ******** love my charming personality so don't even deny it." And since he was being restrained and he absolutely needed to drive his point home in some way, he leaned towards Ripley as if to kiss him again but at the last moment instead licked the tip of his nose.

Inevitable, yes. Once again, Finn had a point.
"True." He conceded again. "Let's see how long it takes." They could even place bets on it. He kind of wanted to place bets. However, that also sounded an awful lot like jinxing it, and so he decided against even suggesting it. Besides, there were kisses to be had and shared, which overruled a silly bet over the inevitability of one of them pissing the other one off. Actually, it overruled a lot more than that.
"Sure." Was his rather ambiguous reply, followed shortly by a very brief grunt of surprise as the expected kiss turned into a suddenly wet tip of his nose. "So ******** charming." He let out a breath of a laugh. "-But I missed that." Along with the admission he wasn't getting tired of saying, Finn was treated to a brief kiss. "Only a little bit."
The kisses then trailed down his jaw, but turned biting when he reached what little bit of neck he could get to, with Finn pinned he way he was. Hands released trapped wrists, nails dragged down flesh hard enough to leave little red trails, and he pressed a soothing kiss where he had once bitten.
"I'll start moving my things tomorrow." He murmured against Finn's skin. "If you'll help."

Finn might have had a few more charming comments to make except that he was again reminded that talking could wait. So long as a certain legacy didn't interfere, at least, but just as before, Finn didn't want to think about that, instead focusing on enjoying every bit of what he was receiving. The kisses that made him shiver, the bites that hitched his breath in his throat, the nails against his skin that arched his back and elicited a groan of longing, his hands free to do as they pleased, but for a moment, he left them were they were, just above his head. His voice was low, a rough and throaty sound when he spoke again. "You're assuming I'm going to let you leave by tomorrow." His tone was teasing, though he could very well have been serious. "Also I don't think I told you to stop."

"To be fair, you never asked me to start, either." Ripley pointed out, his expression flatlining in the way it tended to sometimes. The flat expression eased a moment or two later with a small smile that turned into a slight grin, still unable to help it: he was just so happy to have his memories and emotions back. To be here with Finn, properly. His insecurities may resurface later, his future self may end up second-guessing like he normally did, but for now, this was a good idea. It was a great idea.
"Also, the faster I move in, the more free time we'll have to spend together." An almost biting kiss followed, since Finn hadn't told him to stop. "To do whatever we want." His lips trailed down his neck again, nipping at whatever skin he could get at. "Without having to set a meeting place." Nails continued their rake down Finn's arms, and then down his sides. "Or having to wait." His kisses continued downward, biting and pinching at his skin every now and then. When he reached Finn's stomach, he paused to look up at the man.
"So, tomorrow?"

Ripley saved Finn from replying with "I shouldn't have to" when his expression melted into a small smile, which caught the moon hunters breath as much as any kiss, lick, or bite, because it was a smile he had never thought he was going to get to see again. And yet, there it was, and here they were, and pretty much any and all thought Finn had was turning into a garbled pile of mush in his brain anyways when Ripley resumed, all while pleading his case, a rather good case, really, for why they should move him in the very next day. By the time Ripley stopped, Finn's breathing was coming out just a little ragged. <********>, fine! Tomorrow." He breathed out, closing his eye. "Persuasive b*****d." He muttered, though it was pretty obvious that he was enjoying this.

The moment Finn agreed was the moment Ripley stopped pleading his case in every form. He pushed himself up a little bit more, and ran his fingers through his own pale hair, pushing it back from his face. He was grinning wickedly, but he quickly school his expression to something much more serious, as if he hadn't just teased his boyfriend into oblivion.
"So I should go pack, then?"

Ripley stopped. He stopped, and Finn was unimpressed. "Tomorrow." He repeated, eye narrowing. "Unless you're suddenly desperate to get out of here right now?" enoh love look at this stellar tag :'D

Ripley grinned.
"Why not now? He was in too good a mood to be his usual sour self, apparently. "We're not doing anything right now." Well, he had been, but you know. Sometimes, you just needed to be an awful brat. Even someone like himself.

"Well, we were doing something, but you stopped." He grumped, but only with a slight begrudging tone that was quickly followed by a deep breath in and back out through his nose, his expression actually thoughtful for a moment. "Do you actually want to do it now?" He asked, "Or are you just trying to ******** wind me up?" He managed not to add on on my ******** birthday, but only just barely. enoh love i tried to write and words happened idk if they are good words but they are words.
