Ah Dance class, Kimi hadn't been paying as much attention to it as she would have liked to because her other classes were proving to be rather difficult at the time. So, when it came around to do the dance together she even missed a few steps. It seemed she just had too much on her mind to be able to concentrate on even her favorite thing at the moment. She just wanted to go back to her dorm and curl up with her vespercat.

Khalil was a decent dancer back home, it being a big part of his culture n the Swirling Sands. So when he came to the Academy and they had a dance class it seemed like something he'd want to try out. He figured he'd be pretty decent at it and if anything else it was likely to be fun. It was something he could take with Thomas as well. When it came to learning all the steps he felt he was doing a good job of copying the teacher's steps. IN fact, he felt like he did such a perfect job when it came to the final run! That was so exciting! Maybe he should consider a career in dance?

 So, Pandora didn't know much about dancing. She honestly didn't think it'd be that hard. She just wanted to learn some choreography since music was her life and it might earn her some points with her band. However, during class she realized that really wasn't her forte and maybe she should stick with playing her guitar because, honestly, that was a horrible performance.

 Odessa decided it was time to try something different. She and Kara decided to take a class together for fun to see what happened. She apparently wasn't very good at it, but that was why she tried in the first place. No one really expected someone who spent most of her time reading books to be the best at it anyway, but it was definitely worth the try!

 Kara was excited to be able to take this class with her best friend. She couldn't help but giggle at Odessa's inability to keep up, but surprisingly she did pretty well herself. Then again, she had been to a few clubs in her time, and Odessa had always opted out those nights. Still, she was pretty proud of herself almost keeping up until the end. She was better at dance than she thought she was!

 Mounia really wasn't one for dance, but it was a physical activity that counted for an elective, so she figured why not? Surprisingly, she had done better than she thought she would, but what did you expect from a sport's expert? She was rather pumped by the end, wondering if she could try again to see how well she could do with more practice!

 He was not in sync at all, honestly having a bad day today. First it was Social Studies, then him being bored in Health, then having the lowest prime number found in Math, then being unable to even write a good poem in Creative Writing. What was with him today? Surely someone so musically inclined wouldn't have such a hard time staying in beat with everyone, but here he was struggling to even stay remotely in sync with anyone. He didn't even have to have his teacher tell him he was off for him to know it. He wasn't doing good. However, he pushed through it. He had to at least try right? For everyone else's sake, he had to continue. Odessa was here, and he had to show her that he wasn't going to give up. There was no way he was going to quit.

 Talya was delighted to get to take a dance class. This would be so much fun! Talya was pretty good at staying in sync to the beat, although she lost it a few times. It didn't matter too much, though--she was bubbling up too much with happiness. She couldn't help but smile all class, to the point where her mouth began to hurt. But every time she tried to stop, she smiled again. She was sad to see class end. She couldn't wait until next time! Until then, she'd just have to keep dancing to the beat in her head.

 Nai smiled with embarrassment as he lost the beat for the fifth time in a row. Okay, so Nai was not very good at dancing, but at least it was a fun thing to do. It allowed him to relax, and to connect with people, something that he normally didn't have much of a chance to do. It occurred to him, though, that people might not expect that much coordination out of a Litch anyway.
Oh well. Rot or not, Naihilus was looking forward to the rest of the semester of dancing.

 Kuni was not really a dancer. He didn't think anyone in his family had ever danced before. Dancing was not in the blood. Or the sap. But when Nai had suggested that they do some dancing, well...he had agreed. It had been kind of hard not to. But he stepped and swayed along to the beat, following his roommate and classmates in the dance. He wasn't very good, but hey, neither was Naihilus. "Zat vas...fun," he admitted after class. "Certainly more fun zan I expected."

 Sara had enjoyed dance class so much as a junior that she decided to take it as a senior. It was as fun as she remembered it, perhaps even more so. She was really in the groove right now, moving along to the beat, in sync with the rest of the class. She was a little surprised at how well she was doing, although she did miss a couple steps. But it was hard not to smile right now with the joy at how much fun she was having. The feeling of being in tune with so many other people followed her out of the class the rest of the day.

 It was obvious that Jie's enjoyment of dancing outstripped her actual skills. She kept missing steps in the routine, even if they'd spent all week practicing this dance. She smiled ruefully. Okay, she was going to need to practice this dance much more often. But hey, it looked like her friends were all here. Maybe they could all practice together!
After class, she went up to the teacher. "Sorry about getting out of step so often," she said. "I guess I need more practice?"
