Renita laughed before she could catch herself. Well, maybe he was alright then. Alright enough anyway. And if someone could survive whatever it was that had happened to him, she had a lot of hope that her group would be fine wherever they were too. It was nice to have a little hope again, after all the horrible things that had happened here.
"I don't really think this is the best place for a cuddle pile." She laughed again as she was tugged into the hug, shaking her head. "You know it's only just now occurred to me that most of you probably don't even know my name. And if we're going to be cuddling and all..." She smiled. "It's Renita."

Mr. Nordskov grunted, expecting the pathetic hand waving, but not expecting the sudden hug. To be fair, it only caught one of his burly arms. But that was more than enough to leave him glaring stubbornly in another direction. He didn't jerk his arm back though, that would not only break the hug, but probably drag half the group over onto October if they didn't let go fast enough.
When was the last time anyone dared get close enough for a hug, even by accident?

The hugs were welcomes, and she couldn't help but giggle when Alex gave Brie a peck on the cheek. Cute things made her giggle...so sue her.
"Well I'm glad he's well enough to sound like the old October," she said as she pulled away from all the love being spread around, tucking her hands into her pockets as she looked about. With a clear mind the inside of the hospital didn't seem quite as scary. It was still scary, mind you, and actually now that she had her head on straight again she probably wouldn't come inside by herself anymore, but now it just looked like nothing more than an abandoned building.
No voices, no mysterious silhouettes.
No family.
The thought made her frown, but she didn't say anything.
"What about Zelda?" she then thought to ask to get her thoughts past her own personal losses, turning to the others. "Have you guys seen her around?"
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Petit, 5'5" and 114lbs. She is rather fair skinned with relatively soft facial features (compared to her parents) and curiously blue-green eyes. Her hair is a light shade of caramel brown and is naturally wavy, an asset she's rather proud of. [ ref ]

October may or may not have slouched against Alex in the process of being squashed in the hug because well, he could, and because Alex was a very good choice for flopping on. He wrinkled his nose and gave a little grunt of displeasure at the flick, however.
"I know who you are," October said without opening his eyes. "But Renita, this is Brie, Alex, the good doctor, John Nordskov, and Mel."
He gestured halfheartedly at all of them as he said their names, reaching out to pat Renita on the arm.
"It's always a good place for a cuddle pile," he said sagely, as though imparting very important knowledge to her. But Mel's question made his hand fall away, and October opened his eyes slowly, pushing himself up into a sitting position (though he made no move to pull away from anyone).
"I haven't seen Zelda," he said quietly. "Not at all."

Brie's face flushed again, and her head was bowed as if to hide it, only to look up again when Renita introduced herself. "Nice to officially meet you." She would have given her name in return, but October filled her in on who everyone else was.
Attention shifting to Mel, the girl blinked. "Is it possible she's stuck like how you were?" She asked October, unsure if he would know the answer or not. "I hope she's okay.." They had managed to get one of their leaders back. Now they needed to get Zelda back as well.

Alex happily supported their fearless leader. Then sat there like a puppy. He felt amazing. Better then amazing!
Why had they even been worried? Sho groaned to himself as their faction leader tried to go back to sleep. Seriously, if it weren't for his possession, would he have just remained asleep during this entire hospital ordeal while they battled monsters and so forth?
He was pulled reluctantly into the large hug -- only Brie could do this without the doctor refusing her straight out. He could tolerate it for a few moments, he guessed. Since even the old man was doing so. But then he caught Alex's quick peck on the cheek, a sign of romantic affection for the girl and he let his eyes roll back. Especially since he seemed to encounter them the most and fought with them, what would this mean for future interactions? Getting stuck as a third wheel between a couple was one of the worst things. Something inside of the doctor tempted him to go find Rook and drag him along, just to suffer as well?
He pulled away, listening to Renita and October's introduction. Now everybody was more than acquainted. Dusting himself off -- there was only so much hugging he could handle. He crossed his arms over his chest, so even though he was part of the group, his posture subtly hinted that he wouldn't be taking any more personal contact. No more hugs or kisses, and he was looking at you Alex.
The questions the other apartment people brought up about Zelda had Sho thinking aloud. "It wouldn't be far-fetched to think she is in the same position October was in. Since defeating you, or your apparition, saved you, it's very likely that we need to battle Zelda. But whether or not we're able to save her all depends if she'll even come."
