Spooky was an understatement, well, to her anyway. "U-Uh.. Yeah, sure." Luka carefully took the thin cardboard stick of cotton candy. Well, at least there were sweets to calm her nerves! The irony. Now it was time to get the hell away from that horror fest and keep walking. With one arm still wrapped tightly around his own, she took bits a pieces of the floss, tossing them into her mouth. Offering him some every now and again. Luka looked up to the fiery sky above, examining the gradient of which it held. It reminded her of flowers, or fire, or anything else that shared its color. Keeping her gaze focused on the clouds floating above them, she seemed to get lost in their beauty. Eventually, she didn't notice that she had also been listening to the soft piano music in the distance. Instinctively, she had begun to hum along with the soft tune. Her voice matching every note that played outside her mind.

It seemed she stopped shaking after the cotton candy. Good move; he knew it would work. While walking, he would see she would offer him some. At first, he leaned in for a bite but completely forgot he had a scarf in the way. A hook of the finger, he pulled it down and took a bite, swishing it back up as they continued walking. A tune did ring through the air, and he would have maybe caught the location if it wasn't for Luka humming to the tune. He didn't want to interrupt her, enjoying her own humming than the song itself.
"Ducks."
Her hand in his own, he pressed further, coming across a pop-gun game where you hit the moving targets with water. He sported the gun, a shine in his eyes for fun. It had been a long time since he sported a toy or game styled gun, enjoying railgun styled games, and aimed the piece before it started waiting for the stand owner to begin.
"Ducks."
His accuracy was most impressive, and the only disappointment that came across was the actual game itself ending.
"Ducks...."
The stand owner appeared, speaking he had won the grand prize for the stand.
"Eh?"
Yes, finally! The plushie. He looked among the whole selection they had, the biggest prize being a giant teddy-bear that even beat him in size. That probably would be cool and really cute to see her with, but that didn't seem like the best pick. A finger point later, Stefan held a giant stuffed fox and presented it to her, his expression the same as ever.
"Ducks?" Before she knew it, Luka was being lead to that duck stand. Oh god, a game based on accuracy. Her worst nightmare. Luka was absolutely dreadful with these types of games. But she expected Stefan to be amazing with them given his little performance back in class. One after the other, the little ducks went down. Wow, he was way better at that them than she thought. Luka clapped in enjoyment. "Good job Ste-!" She was cut off by his rather odd statement. Being handed the large plushie. It took her a moment to register. "A fox." She repeated. 'He got me a stuffed fox.' She kept repeating over and over in her head. She stared down the animal for several minutes. Finally, she broke the silence, shooting her gaze towards his own. Whilst giving him the the blandest of expressions, speaking in the most blatantly blunt tone he would ever hear from her. "I Love You."

The fox was handed over carefully to make sure she took it without the plushie falling. Looking at the two set up, it was adorable. To be quite honest, Stefan picked the animal as the fox tail reminded him of Luka's own ponytail.
"I am master duck hunter."
He said blandly, coming off as a serious statement due to his way of speaking. She had the animal but wasn't saying anything. Was she insulted? Maybe foxes were that of a traumatizing experience for her. Stefan maybe goofed really hard right now. Cutting down all those ducks for fun was now karma for enjoying himself, ready to punish him for not thinking clearly. He prepared to be told off, only seeing the emptiness of her face, matching like his own, replying in also a similar way.
'I love you.'
'I love you.'
The phrase caught him by surprise, only able to hold her hand tightly and stare at her in surprise. There was an extreme happiness to not only hear that someone cared so much, but to be expressed in a way he was use to doing so himself. It was simpler and made more sense to him. His eyes were slightly widened to her statement, a small tear streaming from the corner of his eye having his guard caught down. Blinking a few times, he wiped his scarf against it embarrassed at being so vulnerable. He walked with her, ready to head somewhere else and forget what he just did with a discrete lie.
" U-uh... allergies. Duck allergies... w-where do you want to go now?"

It took a few moments to actually realize what she just said so emotionlessly. Really Luka? Really?! Her face flushed a deep red, his reaction seeming more surprised than everything else. Oh god, he's crying? Luka what have you done! "St-Ste-Kun?" She reached for him, returning his tight grip around her hand. He wasn't offended was he? Was he?! "..Duck allergies?" She tilted her head in confusion. How could he have allergies in the middle of fall? And against metal ducks of all things. But besides all that.. Luka almost felt guilty for saying something like that. She hoped to all hell she didn't hurt him, or scare him off. But based on his current state, maybe she was wrong? Maybe she didn't offend him. Maybe that was joy streaming down his cheek. And him being a man, he just felt embarrassed. "U-Uhm.. W-why not just keep walking and see where the path takes us? Eheheh.."

Stefan walked with her, holding her close to him as they stepped slowly. It was weird doing this. He'd never actually had dated someone before. Being kind of looked at while being with someone felt like nothing at all. It was natural and that's what was great. It appears, though, she didn't believe the duck allergies lie. Well, so much for honesty. Still, it was a white lie or more an obvious one. There wasn't really a way to explain that the sentence was so emotional for him to hear. Even more, there was no way he could possibly state that he wasn't ready to state just a word yet. It had only been a day of course even though a long one. To say that might come off as cruel, though. His mind got preoccupied seeing some weird colorful box with people walking out of it. It was covered in stylish designs and pictures. Stefan was completely confused, but they were looking at a photobooth. "What is that? Can... we try it?"

'Date.. Date.. Date..' She couldn't get the word out of her head. A long with a few others. The awkwardness slowly subsided and she was able to relax again. Maybe it was because of how tightly she was holding her new toy? Or possibly of how comforting his own embrace felt. It was probably a good idea to not focus too much on the matter. Just enjoy yourself, Luka! Who knows when you'll have another moment like this. "H-Huh?" Luka was caught off guard by his inquiry. "Oh.. That's a photobooth. People go in, behind that curtain, see? And the select the type of frame they want on their picture.. Then it takes about.. 5 or so pictures of you and whomever else is in there doing a variety of different things." She explained, gesturing to the other side of the large box. "Then it prints out the pictures it took on the other side.." She smiled lightly at him. "Oh? Of course! I wouldn't mind!"

Stefan gave some excited nods as they charged in, prepared for this. Stefan was a fan of photos yet never had many taken of him. It had only occurred a few times. It'd be nice to get a few now. Five photos sounded easy. As they sat inside, getting comfortable, he removed his smooth scarf for the time being for the photos ahead. No point in his concealer for the time being. Text popped over the screen with directions on how it would go, a start button with notions for each picture to fit a theme. Stefan nodded to the machine, determined to meet the standards.
'Happy'
Well, that was a failure... He forgot to move his face. He looked the same as always without changing his expression. That's alright, the next one should work.
'Crazy'
That wasn't even fair; how do you express psychological illness to the point of being extremely disruptive to normal society? The only thing he could do was look at Luka with the same expression as before, not making an interesting picture most likely.
'Silly'
This was an easy one. Luka called him silly, so being so couldn't be that hard at all. Pulling down an eyelid, his teeth bared with his tongue out to the camera as if he was some drunken youkai. Success. He was finally doing well against his worst enemy: expressions.
'Love'
Weird... was love visible from the face. Well, that's dumb. Of course it was! It showed earlier, but there must be many ways to express 'Love' or show it. Hard, though, as love was told to be a very powerful wish. Luka admitted to loving him. Well, it could've been the heat of the moment, but it had to have been somewhat true. If so, that means it couldn't be hard to 'Love' her back. Stefan tapped her on the shoulder quickly to have her attention. The very moment she would look at him, he'd charge in, giving her a deep kiss. Again, this pleasant feeling... but it was only for a second! He wanted to make these photos perfect. That definitely had to be love. Although, Stefan was sure he was too late and the photo snapped before it had a chance. Oh well...
'Freeform'
Stefan wasn't sure what this meant. This game was weird. All the requests for what to show was very vague, and this didn't even seem to go. Well, it was fine, he only huddled close to Luka, showing a peace sign to the camera with his expressionless face. Stefan hopped from the booth, placing back on his stylish scarf.
"Those pictures have to atleast appear remotely worthy of recognition that we went on a date."
Stefan pulled the strip of framed photos coming from the side, standing next to Luka and showing her them. He was proud of it, and the images of both of them made him both proud and lightheaded in a romantic sense.
"Yes. I beat the game."

'Welp.. Here we go!'
'Happy'
Luka smiled her dumb goofy smile as she normally did. Her head just barely brushing up against his chin. She couldn't help but giggle at his lack of expression. She knew what he meant, he just didn't know how to show it.
'Crazy'
Luka actually sat and looked at the camera with the same expression as Stefan. Crazy? What exactly was that suppose to mean? Oh well! Next photo!
'Silly'
Luka hooked her index fingers into her cheeks, showing off her own teeth, crossing her eyes inwards, making herself glare at the bridge of her nose. That one was a bit uncomfortable actually.
'Love'
"Wait wha--?Mph!" Luka was cut off by the sudden act of affection. Yes, utter bliss once more. Though it didn't last long. And it looked as though the picture may have snapped too late. Oh well, a cherished memory none the less.
'Freeform'
What's that suppose to mean? Luka simply cuddled against the boy she had spent her day with. Holding up her fingers as well to show a peace sign. Her face was flushed and she had this awkward yet embarrassed smile on her face. She certainly enjoyed herself, that's for sure.
"I'm sure they do.. Don't worry.. See?" Luka looked down at the photos, they looked amazing to her. She leaned her head against his shoulder slightly, her expression softening. "They look fine..~"

"Whoa careful... Eh, you got it." Bree had seen much stronger people than this, if judging by looks, without the qualifier of school savior--or whatever title they proposed in hyperbole to make a resume pop--the point is! Bree had empirical inferences on which to build blind faith in her new old acquaintance/friend. It was an afterthought, the peripheral glance she gave to Luka; because how could she miss this!
It may not have been clear what he was saying, as the depth of the poet lies in the impetus of his decoding, but that didn't matter--for much the same reason. Bree blinked a few times to hammer back the surprise, and inevitably tell it, when the dark haired brooding beautiful boy stopped musing and started speaking to her; though it should be said that first there was the task of overcoming that initial shock of there ONLY being verse in the air at the wake of Autumn's b*****d theme. This, of course, was followed by some self maintenance--just to confuse the issue of persona ex machina from either side--as footsteps and heartbeats and awkward coughs in the distance and shrieks from girls being scared by french tickler wannabes replaced Chopin and in their crunchy Winter wake displaced would be words to wire together what should be easy small task: a place on the scale of humanity?
"Um, good... I mean," said Bree botching the handoff on this relay, "I haven't heard anyone play like that since middle school; the national championships and all. ... What you said earlier, did you make that up just now?"
Stefan was happy at the few copies they had. He gave one to her, keeping the other for himself and looking at them with a flushed expression. Although happy he beat the "Photobooth' game, he was glad to be able to stare at Luka and the expressions she made.
"You're really cute..."
His head rested upon hers, thinking over it all. The question of love circled around his skull. He could not answer it at all.

"O-Oh.. Uhm.. There's a trail near by. It runs along the river. If you want, we could walk along that until the fireworks start?" She looked up at him, lightly griping the other copy of the pictures they had taken not moments ago. She had also noticed the music stopped. Strange, maybe it wasn't put on by the fair after all. Oh well, whomever was playing the beautiful music would hopefully start up again soon. "C'mon. It's a bit quieter down this way too.. So there's that."Uh..Why exactly was that relevant to the conversation at all?

~Dimitri O'Sullivan~
Dimitri finished playing the tune, relishing in the melody for a moment. It was a nice old song, bringing back times from long ago. Th details of where it came from never came to mind. He just enjoyed the old times of playing music through the terrors life wrought.
"Thank you."
He said kindly, enjoying the compliment. It'd been sometime that he'd had someone enjoy his playing, and really the song itself was just for their ears out of respect for wanting to listen. Yet, at the mention of her own experience peeked interest.
"I didn't make the song itself. It was one I practiced, helping me to win one of my first championships long ago. It was one of my favorite I learned back then and I still enjoy it till this day."

"A trail?"
Stefan went along with her to whatever direction she was taking him, excited for wherever they were to go. He was a bit confused why she mentioned the quiet part. Why would it matter? Did she want to get away from the noise to talk easier? He didn't mind. He gave a small, emotionless chuckle and was ready to go with her. "Sounds like fun."
The girl couldn't keep a smile from gracing her lips. As the pathway continued, the noise of the crowd lessened and so did the crowd itself. Eventually just coming down to a few scattered people occasionally passing by them until they were they only ones left. The night sky was completely clear, as was the water beneath them. The clear surface perfectly reflecting the sky above, a mirror image so to speak. Holding his hand just as tightly as she was holding her fox, her pace began to slow. Eventually she was no longer leading and was just a few paces behind him until she was at a full stop. Her gaze fixated at the ground below. "Ne ne.. Ste-Kun.. Can I ask you something?" She began her voice much quieter than before. "How.. How come you like me so much..?"
