Turn 4
Marthun's Attack x2: 10 - 5 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance)

The Harbinger could see the wheels turning behind the eyes of his prey. The man was thinking...but not completely afraid...perhaps not afraid at all. Who was this man to look upon a Harbinger of doom and feel not the pangs of fear. Was he as excited to clash against a strong opponent as the Harbinger was? This man continued to feel more agreeable to the demonic A.I. Core. It chuckled, a low, throaty chuckle as it watched the man's reactions to the ensuing combat. This was entertaining. Come what may--death or enlightenment, the core could not say that it regretting being put up against this type of opponent. "Truly suited. This pair." The core grumbled out, its voice like grinding gears. As the man bent backwards to avoid the sword, the core was surprised by his agility. He managed to avoid a strike like that by merely bending himself backwards like that? There was no way that the Harbinger's body would allow for such things. In a way, the core was almost jealous of the human body that Marthun sported. It was very flexible and agile, and even though they seemed to be on rather even terms, the man's grace was admirable. After the quick side-step of the second attack, the Harbinger grunted with disapproval. It wanted to kill this little man, badly, but it would seem that it just couldn't finish the job. Not yet. It mulled over the frustration of it in its head, but it tried not to let it effect its combat awareness. As the kick came lashing out after the side-step, the Harbinger was ready for it, throwing the clawed arm down quickly to slam the leg to the side, brushing the blow off easily as the kick was deflected by the metal arm. Then, as the man front-flipped toward him, dropping his heel down toward the Harbinger once again, the demon growled and hopped backwards, allowing the kick to slice the air and hit nothing but the ground. The Harbinger was not going to be disposed of that easily. It immediately rushed forward, cocking back the sword arm and then thrusting it forward with as much speed as it could muster. It wanted to skewer this little runt. If it couldn't put the sword through the man's chest, then perhaps he would nick some important artery or something. At the very least, even if it wasn't a mortal wound, the Harbinger just wanted to draw blood. As soon as the thrust was over, the Harbinger swung its sword again, this time, however, it was not trying to hit Marthun with the sword strike, but instead using it as a feint while the crossbow trained itself on his location and fired in attempt to catch the man off guard.

Reaper Crab
Corrinne's Attack x6: 15 - 10 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance)

The Reaper Crab was surprised as the darkness began to give way to a beautiful, lush, scenery. It was places like these that made the Reaper Crab feel like the world they had inhabited wasn't so bad after all. The A.I. Cores, due to their nature inhabited vastly technological worlds, and that was where they propagated and thrived. However, the rural, natural, locations like this held a mystical beauty that it just couldn't explain. As it snapped and charged towards the woman, she eyed the crab carefully, and the Reaper Crab looked at her with the same cold calculations, thinking about just how she might strike, and just how it would have to deal with it. The woman moved forward quickly, but nothing compared to the speed in which she utilized the bo staff that she carried. The metal staff was a blur as it flashed downward toward the crab, but it shot its arms upward and deflected the blow with them before it could get anywhere near its head. As she whirled the bo staff once again, the crab narrowed its eyes and it waited for the staff to get close before it flashed its arms up once again, each time the staff came towards the crab's head it would twist to the side and use one of the thick limbs to meet the blow and deflect it to the side, making easy work of the woman's attacks. It was then that she attempted to strike out at the crab's legs, switching up her attack patterns, and the crab seemed to chitter with glee as she switched her attack style. This showed that she wasn't stupid. She knew that just throwing endless strikes at the front of the core was not going to win her the battle...but then again, nothing was going to win her the battle. This fight was already the Reaper's. With its powerful little legs the crab crouched low, and as the strike came down towards its limbs, the crab pushed with all of its might, launching itself into the air, easily hopping over the staff. As it came back down on the ground, the woman seemed to be eyeing him up like she could somehow finish the battle, but the Reaper would not allow for it. It just chattered happily, once again, as she rushed forward, and when she brought the staff down to hit the crab once again, it used its surprising agility to scuttle to the side and avoid the strike once again, hoping that its evasion would unnerve the human woman, at the very least. After her last strike had been thrown, the core blasted forward toward her, lifting the massive arms up and then bringing them down in one relentless strike, hoping to crush the woman beneath its heavy club-like arms.

OOC: Okay. So there is a little bit of a problem with your post, Pesky. You can't auto-hit when you are writing your attacks. You are depicting what you are ATTEMPTING to do for your attacks, but you don't know if they hit or not, due to the fact that until I roll for the defence, your attacks have not actually landed. So you can't RP as the reaper crab, saying that it is being hit and its legs are being swept from under it and such. That's god modding and it is not allowed. =]

So, just for future reference, you have to depict your actions taken as if you have not already landed them, but you are just attempting to land them. "She threw three attacks quickly at the crab's head, hoping to bludgeon the Reaper and make sure she knocked it senseless, to make the last three strikes all the more effective. It was then that she swung the bo-staff at the Reaper Crab's legs, attempting to sweep them out from under it. If she managed to turn the crab upside down, she would strike at its underbelly as it lay there, but if not, she could always try to crack open its back with a thunderous attack as well." Things like that. You can't RP FOR the Reaper Crab, saying it was hit and it was flailing about on the ground and such. That's god modding. So, I just wanted to make that all clear. You're not in trouble, I am just trying to make sure you understand how it works. ^__^

Corrinne was surprised by the crab's swiftness and strength, clearly she had slightly underestimated him. His happy chatter as the fight became more exciting made Corrinne smile, she was actually beginning to enjoy herself when he lunged at her with his massive claws. Quickly, Corrinne barrel rolled to the side and watched as the crab's massive arms broke apart the earth beneath him. She gasped but quickly made some distance between her and the reaper crab. Looking at the staff again, she calculated it's length and what she could get away with from the distance of the crab. She suddenly didn't want to be found too close to it, with the speed and agility it possessed.

Waiting for it to chitchat again, she decided this time to try to draw it out more. Smacking it by its sides three times to rile it up. Corrinne laughed and ran around, trying to confuse it, sweeping the staff around, she used the thrust to slam her staff at its claws. Those were the first things she wanted gone, now that she knew how powerful they were. But just for good measure, she turned around and clobbered it twice using the ends of the staff back to back. Corrinne found herself more careful this time around, her guard defensively up but equally enjoying the experience.

▌Marthun If we could all just learn to speak to just one other person,
▌Gartun I'm sure we would find that the world would become much smaller.

Turn 04 Dodge Chance: 100 - (-7) = 99%

Marthun made a heavy point to avoid the attacks that were thrown his way using the tried and true flexibility he had demonstrated to avoid the feint and arrow attack. He laughed maniacally as he flipped backwards into a display of dexterity and agility that the machine simply would be incapable of pulling off. He landed smiling at the machine and performed yet another flip and landed mere inches from the front of its face and his expression vanished entirely. Everything faded from his face, it was like he was looking into a mirror and he hated what he saw.

Marthun pulled his head back and shot it forward allowing himself to carry with the momentum of the attack regardless of whether it connected or missed, the carried it backwards before lifting a beam of flaming wood over his shoulder and with his muscles flexing from the strain and his veins in his neck bulging he lobbed it forward with a groan and a roar. If the pesky machine wanted to play with ranged attack Marthun would only have to be obligated to play on an even field with it right?

He smiled once again before dusting himself off and clapping his hands. He let loose a torrent of maniacal laughing before regaining some composure with a cough to clear his throat.

"Of course we are compatible, I'm just the better half!"

                            Raindrops are my tears,
wind is my breath and my story,
branches and leaves are my hands,
because my body is wrapped in roots.
When comes the season of a thaw,

The hazy feeling of sleep was slowly escaping her along with the darkness the enveloped her self. Quantis found herself seated with her arms folded on a desk and was her head's pillow. She slowly sat up, darkness was still there but it was clearing up. What she sat was a chair rooted at the spot and wide, able to fit at least three people. Her desk was the same with a compartment for items. The scene slowly unfolded, from where she was, more desks and chairs came to view with a platform higher by several inches after the first in front of them. At the front end of the room was a podium and the latest glassboard that acted as well as a touch screen; removing the need for chalks, erasers and whiteboard markers at the classroom scene.

Quantis raised an eyebrow, never dreaming her mind would materialize this kind of place for her H.A.L.F. Process. Her uncle had told her about how the process goes; knowing whatever preparation she would do was useless there. It all boiled down to the mental fortitude she had built-up overtime. Quantis stood up and and stretched her limbs, checked her condition and nodded at her status. So I was attached to the peaceful school life.... Quantis walked down from her seat, the middle of the classroom, to the platform in front. The unconscious mind did have the purest answers to one's desires after all. she reasoned in her thoughts.

The deep howl told her her enemy was here along with the hooves that moves in a charge but slowly. From the other end of the classroom stood an Elder Wolf. Quantis who faced the glassboard, stared at it coldly yet calmly from the reflection of the glass. Subtly making adjustments to how she stood, breathing and switching to a more battle-oriented mindset as well. Its size wasn't, at least 3 feet tall or so and it made Quantis wonder how tall that A.I. Core would be when it stood on its hind legs. Nevertheless, it had the speed and power of both wolf and deer; its horns were deadly weapons that could take her life if she didn't evade carefully.

It charged but slowly, taking its time and sizing her up like she was to the AI. Quantis stood at the platform casually without much of a stance to take. Nevertheless, the femme was ready to leap to evade or to strike, block and counter and so forth. And as she turned around, the Elder Wolf's muscles rippled as it pushed itself forward with much force than before.

The Elder Wolf was close to her but Quantis' reflexes prevailed, her reaction time didn't failed her this time around as she leaped backwards with a quite high altitude that reached at least three-forth of the height of the classroom. Her bound led her to the wall behind her with a little margin left from the glass board. Quantis had activated her heels' magnetism ability, locking her in place. She whipped her arms and from its folded form, her weapons, two arm blades unveiled.

She kicked off from the wall with a moderate power from the exoskeleton powersuit legs of her suit, descending like a bird-of-prey to the Elder Wolf with her blades in front of her. She twisted her body in midair, sliced trice from above and landed atop of the desk where she "slept" not long ago. The exchange was quick to the point even Quantis wasn't sure if her attack hit or not.

From here on out.... it's a battle of attrition.

Turn 2

15-12 = 3 (100-3 = 97%) x3 MISSED

As the Elder Wolf had charged for the girl in her combat armor the world around it had taken shape. It knew it was a classroom of some sort, having raided a few that were much less technologically advanced it it's golden days. Young humans tasted so much more tender and had so much more fear in them when they were devoured. The Wolf was sure it was going to land a crippling blow since the classroom gave such a innocent look to the human in her odd attire. The desk would get in the way, but they could also be used for cover. Still the large rack on the A.I.'s head hit nothing but air as the young woman had jumped rather easily in the air able to soar over the Elder Wolf without a single scratch. The Wolf skidded to a stop on the floor its hooves not clattering as much since it used its front paws to slow it down having more resistance so not as much energy was used. The Wolf stayed still and watched carefully as the woman defied gravity by standing on the wall. It was a dream, and the A.I. Would do it's best to turn this into a nightmare for Quantis.

As the woman popped out the blades the Elder Wolf knew it would need to be careful on it's approach, it was never good to let the prey hurt you, that could lead to death so much quicker than starvation. The Wolf carefully watched as the woman launched herself and dove down quickly slashing with the new blades that had shown themselves. The Wolf skillfully dodged the attacks ducking between the desk but following the same direction as Quantis. The last attacked had gotten close but the A.I's thick fur kept it from doing any damage. Soon as the young woman had landed on the desk the Elder Wolf propelled itself forward behind the desk and powerfully lifted its from half up attempting to bite the 'tail' she had and pull her hard onto the ground so it could jump her from there. Tearing out her throat would be oh so pleasant.

Turn 2
Corrinne's Attack x6: 15 - 10 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance)

The Reaper Crab watched as the woman danced around it, the attacks being deflected like they were did not seem to bother this woman one bit--quite the opposite. Even after the Reaper had shot forward and attempted to crush the woman, having her move out of the way, she did not seem to be frightened. As the heavy, club-like limbs hit the ground, the earth seemed to rumble beneath their feet, and dirt showered to the sides of the impact zones. The Reaper Crab grumbled in general frustration, but it tried to keep its cool as it spun around to face the gleeful woman. Were all humans this excited to fight to the death? Did it bring them joy to face danger, or was she just so confident in her ability to win that she didn't care? She launched herself forward and struck quickly, sending her silver staff crushing down towards the Reaper Crab's side, but as the staff came down toward it, the crab whirled to the side and brought its arm to the side to intercept the strike, knocking it away from its body. With the two subsequent attacks, the Reaper Crab took the same strategy, shifting its body to bring the flat of its arms around and knock the strikes off to the side. However, after the three strikes, the woman changed up her pattern and she stabbed the metal bo staff toward the crab's claws, trying to break the armour, or damage the arm in some sort of way, it imagined. But as the woman stabbed the staff toward the arm the Reaper just raised the set of arms up into the air so the stabbing motion passed beneath them and hit nothing at all. It was then that the woman attempted to strike out at it again, twice more, but the Reaper charged forward, slamming into her stomach to send her rolling backwards and ending her sequence of attacks. The body check was not enough to actually hurt her, but it would knock her back and keep her from swinging that damn staff around any more. As soon as the Crab had knocked her backwards it charged forward once again. This time, the crab lowered the arms and as it got closer it suddenly raised them at high velocity, attempting to bring the curled tips of the claws upwards and impale her with them. It could only hope it was able to draw some blood.

Impatience was the last thing Quantis would feel. It will lead to her demise if she querulous about her three strikes dodged and blocked easily by the Wolf A.I. and it just show these enemies weren't ones to easily to go down. Quantis was quick to pivot but not fast enough as her "tail" was pulled, the sensation was unpleasant to her, with her dragged down to the floor.

A soft groan escaped her lips; her eyes closed for a split-second instinctively from the incoming pain. Pain was real despite knowing where they fought was a mental landscape created by her unconscious mind. Quantis knew why pain existed in this place even though she could just had it there was none. It will not be a real fight if there's no pain... it won't be a test at all.... and the sensation of pain gave the realism to the fight inside the mental landscape.

The Elder Wolf's fangs came down swiftly from above, aiming from her throat. Quantis curled her body, her legs closed to her torso and her hands on the floor. She bounced from the floor, her hands supported and twirled her body, her feet spun to kick the Elder Wolfe; if the kicks didn’t hit, they would still serve to at least stop the Wolf from sinking its fangs on her neck. She pushed herself into the air once more afterwards. Quantis flipped acrobatically twice and landed a fair distance between her and the A.I. Core.

She glanced at her suit's tail, swinging it back and forth and glad it was fine. Her tail felt like a second limb for the femme. The sensation with this new limb that humans didn't have was strange, vague and almost non-existent but it was there. She can feel it but faintly. Content with a simple check, Quantis bolted to her left, jumping from desk to desk as she went to flank the A.I.

Only Quantis, instead of jumping to the Wolf's side, she veered off, leaping in front of it. Another kick to the ground propelled her forward in breakneck speed, her blades aimed to hit the beast at its legs that was its source of power for it charges and mobility. The Elder Wolf was like her; they were hunters whom watch its prey, learn their habits, strengths and weaknesses then strike fast, accurately and will deal a fatal damage.

Turn 3

15-12 = 3 (100-3 = 97%) x3 MISSED

The Elder Wold knew it had struck correctly enough to grab the tail with its strong jaws, though that had not been its main attack. It did not know if the woman felt any pain or if the tail was just part of the suit she was wearing. The A.I. Knew enough about the humans and the armor they would use to cover their flesh that was so much easier to rip and tear into. As the Wolf pulled the woman down from the desk it watched carefully to see if the human had enough reaction time to push it away. For a moment it thought it did as it lunged forward to wrap it's mouth around that pretty throat. Then the legs came, as they always did when it's prey was down on the ground. There was so much to keep up with to try and get a clean kill, but the Elder Wolf did not mind the fight. It would bring down this human easily enough! The A.I. Dodged the kicks easily by simply backing away to watch and wait for the next move. The human knew well what she was doing, but she was a weakling, it had killed so many others stronger than her before. It would only be a matter of time before she faltered and it's jaws could snap her neck. The Elder Wolf stayed still carefully analyzing as the human felt confident enough to check her tail before even continuing an assault, was she really stupid or just over confident?

Then Quantis leaped from desk to desk and the Elder Wolf continued to stay still not wanting to get lost in it's own movement. It did not like the feeling of being hunted itself but at least the woman was using well known flanking tactics. As Quantis feinted an attack from the side the Elder Wolf shifted it's weight to it's hind legs ready to move out of the way. As the attack came from the front the Elder Wolf lowered its head and moved its back end to the side as Quantis came past. The moment the blades were enough past the Elder Wolf used it large horns and pushed Quantis up and over to send her tumbling away from it. Hoping to take her even more by surprise the Elder Wolf charged at her with it's head down wanting to impale her side as many times as it could with its sharp prongs.

Reaper Crab Attack x1: 12-10=2 (100-2= 98% Defense Chance)
((6 Attacks))

__________________________________

Corrinne was beginning to grow impatient. Somehow, out of all the attacks she seemed to throw at the Core it was able to either deflect the attack or miss it entirely. Then suddenly, it knocked her backwards to gain some distance between her and itself, she could tell that she was irritating it. This at least made Corrinne smile, "Well at least I know there's still life in you, yet." Standing up steadily, she watched as it made an attempt to impale her, deflecting the blow. She used the staff to catch the crab by ramming the staff horizontally in the underside grooves of its claws. The two looked at each other through the length of his arms, "What am I going to have to do to end this, huh?" She talked to it, not knowing if it would be able to understand her or not. But this was her mind so she was able to talk aloud whenever she wanted. It was more for her benefit than the reaper crabs anyway, she was trying to find a way of fighting this creature even though she didn't really want to.

Finally she decided to knock the reaper crab backwards with her staff, creating some distance between them again. Corrinne began to circle it, trying to come up with a plan of attack. Twirling the staff through her fingers, it reminded her of when she was young and used to spin pencils and her mothers old cheerleading baton through her fingers. Tossing it in the air, she watched it spin in the sky before returning down to her hands, she had already grown used to its weight. And suddenly found its presence very comforting. Looking ahead at the reaper crab, it seemed to be waiting for her to make a decision. Spinning the staff around again, she decided to go with its rhythm and attack the crab that way. Although that meant that she wouldn't even know what her plan would be from attack to attack. But why not try a new approach anyway, since what she had been doing thus far seemed to have no effect on the Core anyway.

Smoothing her hands over the surface of the staff, she spun it from hand to hand, watching the crabs reaction to the instrument. Then with an amazing agility, she dashed toward it, the staff spinning wildly behind her till she attacked it over and over, the staff moving from left to right. Even she didn't know where it would land next because now she was fighting purely on instinct.

                            Raindrops are my tears,

branches and leaves are my hands,
because my body is wrapped in roots.
When comes the season of a thaw,

Her charge was easily avoided and she was thrown up in the air. In midair, Quantis noted the charging figure of the Elder Wolf, its horns poised to stab her falling form. She rights herself in the air, twisting her body and intercepted the horns with her blades. The clash was short lived as Quantis pushed herself off and landed at the ground. Her hands on her ground, her legs spread, Quantis gave the image of a predator ready to leap towards its prey; her tail swaying back and forth.

Behind her funnel-shaped collar, a savage grin spread across her lips. Qunatis was enjoying this fight very much but... Calm down... losing herself to carnage wasn't a good idea when the opponent was one to watch then attack. The femme dashed towards the Elder Wolf, the power behind her each step was enough to leave a dent on the ground; electricity whirled to life from her feet.

With her speed, it didn't even take her five seconds to cut the distance between them. She didn't pulled the breaks, leaping off the floor with her right foot ready to crash deep into the Elder Wolf with a back-flip kick. She landed at the same position, if not closer, with her right foot only and followed up her kick as she swung her left foot diagonally to her right as she leaped once again.

The kick with her left foot gave a corkscrew motion to her body that was tilted diagonally while in midair, slicing with her right blade followed by an aerial maneuver that changed her position to being upside down at the climax of her jump .Quantis, twisting her body, twirled in midair like a spring releasing all of its potential energy, incising horizontally.

At this moment, Quantis was applying everything she had learned all of her life to survive this battle. She knew this was easier in comparison to the true clash outside of the classroom. Was it because it was within her head? Or because the A.I. Core was simply weaken from its time being confined for an undefined time by Quantis' perspectives? Either way from all the time she spent perfecting her ability to move freely in the air with simple twists and movement with her body, martial arts and practical experience with her choice of weapons to observing how A.I. Cores fight. Her uncle, Leonardo, had prepared many things to give her the edge she needed today and to next frays she will join or initiate in the future.

But what truly gave her a reason not to give up was because of one thing she was reminded when she came to in her old classroom. That even though there were people who took granted the protection offered by the soldiers, volunteers and the Baiters, there were people who knew it and did what they could to life their lives to the fullest.

Maybe because she learned that in the same classroom she and the Elder Wolf was fighting.... because the classroom was a landscape molded by her own mind that there was a change in their surroundings. It only last a moment as Quantis descended right after her last attack. The classroom lacked the evidence of destruction because of the fight. Instead it was filled with people but only a small number as it was already after school; friends who had nothing better to do and just wanted to hang out in the classroom.

Another Quantis stood by the window, dressed in a casual outfit consist of a simple black tank top covered up by a oversize grey hoodie that made it look like a one piece dress; the sleeves rolled up to her elbows and showed a metallic bracelet on her left wrist. She went with knee-length shorts and matching running shoes. The other her touched the black choker on her neck, a habit she had picked up whenever she was thinking too deep.

A young man approached her and tapped the cold can of coffee on her forehead which made the other Quantis yelp in a cute way before shooting a murderous glare at the young man who merely laughed it off. Right... He was the one who taught me that.... The young man wore a simple set of clothes; white shirt with a fur-lined parka, black jeans and rubber shoes. He sported grey-silver hair and bright blue eyes as well as wireless headphones.

The presence of the other students in the classroom disappeared, leaving only the young man and lass who stood by the window side. Their voices were only white noise yet Quantis knew the topic they were talking about. Something about a novel they've read awhile back and other nonsensical but enjoyable talks.

Both turned to the setting sun and then...."Thanks to the people who are giving their lives beyond the shield that we can enjoy days like these in peace. I'm thankful for them and that's why I wanna live my life to the fullest as thanks to those who continue to protect us." he beamed her a smile and if only Quantis knew why there was a shadow in his face back then...

I might had saved you back then....

The sudden flashback ended there as the classroom returned to its devastated state. Quantis who was still in midair but making her way down to the ground had twisted her body so she would land on her feet and not with her head. Her eyes of amber had a determined look to defeat the Elder Wolf; burning brightly was her will to survive this fight and become a baiter.

Indila Belle

User Image
The warmth of Indila's bed gave some kind of comfort as she stared at the white ceiling of her small room. She made shapes out of the shadows where the light from the window didn't touch, looking over at the clock the women groaned before slowly getting out of her drug of a bed. Making her way to the kitchen, Indila grabbed herself a cup of coffee that was longing to reach her plump lips. The hot liquid running down her throat woke the women up a bit as she knew she had a long day a head of her. Setting the cup down, Indila went to her fridge and grabbed eggs, milk, apple juice and bacon. Today might be her last so she was going to make the best of it and make herself a really good breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon and toast with apple juice on the side.
With the pan sizzling as the eggs cook, Indila began to sing softly to herself,

"Je remue le ciel le jour, la nuit
Je danse avec le vent la pluie
Un peu d'amour un brin de miel
Et je danse, danse, danse, danse, danse, danse, danse
Et dans le bruit, je cours et j'ai peur
Est-ce mon tour?
Vient la douleur.
Dans tout Paris, je m'abandonne
Et je m'envole, vole, vole, vole, vole, vole"

Clearing her throat, Indila quickly shuts her mouth shocked that she even thought about singing 'I haven't sung in so long' she thought to herself in wonder what brought her to sing. Sighing, she took a seat with the plate of food in front of her and began to eat what may be her last meal.

Finishing up her last bite, Indila washed her dishes before jumping into the warm shower. The feeling of the hot water running down her skin relaxed the women a bit until she had to get out and get dressed. 'I know I'm doing the right thing' she thought as words of discouragement flooded her mind as well as the thought of her parents. Sighing, Indila laced up her last shoe before grabbing her bag she packed the night before and headed out. Heading toward the B.A.I.T.R. headquarters, Indila grew more nervous 'why the hell am I acting like this' she thought to herself not used to feeling nervous or even scared to do something.

Stopping at the doors, she looked up at the building debating whether or not to go in or not and before she turns and runs, Indila pulled the door open and proceeded through. Indila looked around and saw a women walk down the hall, "Ma'am I'm here to become a baitr, can you show me where to go?" she asked the women nicely giving off a small smile in the process. The women gave Indila a smile back nodding her head before proceeding down the hall. Shrugging, Indila followed quickly behind 'Here goes nothing'she thought.

Taking a seat on the table, the young women laid back getting comfortable "Now miss just relax we will be giving you something to sleep then everything is up to you" the doctor stated before the needle pierced Indila's skin. The last thing Indila remembered before going under was seeing her parents walk into the room.

Turn 3
Corrinne's Attack x6: 15 - 10 = 5 (100 - 5 = 95% Defence Chance)
FAILED! x2 75 - 30 = 45 Damage (x2 = 90 Damage)

As the Reaper ripped its massive clawed arms upwards in an attempt to stab the woman with the curved tips of its claws, the woman's staff came down with a vengeance and stretched out across both of the arms, halting them in their tracks. She had such a slightly frame, but this woman was incredibly strong! Even if the Reaper Crab was weakened from its long imprisonment, there was no way a woman like this should be able to stop its attacks like that! Damnit! Then, as the woman looked the Crab over, she asked it what she would have to do in order to end the fight, and the Crab let out an eerily human sounding laugh as it tapped into the woman's mind. They were already within her brain, and the A.I. Core had its code flowing through her mind, so it wouldn't be so hard for it to speak into her brain. Even though the creature that was its physical form could not speak english, the artificial intelligence most certainly knew the dialect. "You'll have to kill me if you want to end this. Or let me crush you into little pieces." The Reaper Crab laughed into her mind as it prepared itself to rush in, but as it got itself ready the woman came flying in towards it like a storm. The way that she spun the staff, whirling it and twirling it within her hands was almost mesmerizing in a way. It was almost impossible to keep track of the staff's movements, but as it came crashing down toward it, the crab watched carefully and it angled its body so that when the staff hit the hard armour on its side, it hit an angled piece so that it deflected off of the slight slope of the carapace. Then, as the second strike came it, the Reaper's claws shot up once more, snapped to the side and brushed the attack away. However, when the third attack came, the crab tried to strike out to block it, but the staff was moving so quickly that it was trying to block the after-image of the blurred weapon and it found the staff crushing down on the top of its body, one of the large spikes coming off of its back was struck with the intense blow and the crab heard a horrible snap as the spike broke off of its body and pain surged through its back. It cried out in pain as the next attacks continued to rain it. It managed to dodge another of the blows, but as soon as it had avoided one, the next was coming. This time the rod struck across its face and the Reaper's vision exploded into a bright light from the impact on its head. It was dazed by the attack and wobbled to the side--the wobble was the only thing that saved it from a third hit as the attack narrowly missed. However, the crab regained its footing after a short few moments and blasted back into attack mode. It let out a shrill cry and blasted toward her, bloodlust seething off of the creature. As it got close enough the crab used its strong legs to pop itself into the air . As it came down toward her it shot its arms down with all the strength it had, trying to absolutely crush the woman if it could.

Initiative Roll

The doctors were glad that the first baiter candidate had already left the facility, because they were getting more people in the European sector than they had seen in ages. They couldn't understand how B.A.I.T.R had managed to rope this many people into the H.A.L.F process. How were they getting so many to risk their lives?? It was a good thing, sure, but it was just shocking to see it in action. They watched as the woman strode in, and many of them couldn't help but gawk at her interesting looks. She was, surely, a beautiful woman, but her body jewellery was the accent that really made them stare. It was interesting and foreign and not many people in this day and age looked the way she did. As she was getting set up for the exam, they gassed her to put her under, and as she fell asleep they removed the jewel from her forehead. This was something that had already been requested. She did not stir as they took the jewel and ran it through the N.I.C.E system, completely scanning it and causing the insides of the jewel to be lined with microscopic pathways and circuits that A.I. Cores could travel through and be trapped / sapped by. As soon as the process was over, they took the jewel back to the woman and replaced it where it had been before, securing it well in its place before the lab assistant from containment arrived. the core that they brought was a sleek, black, metallic bar of metal, it seemed and as they placed the metallic bar on top of the jewel, it suddenly bust forth with electricity. The electricity surged into the jewel as the A.I. Core blasted forth and infiltrated the woman's body.

As the E-Trooper moved into the woman's body, it found itself lost in a shroud of darkness. The walls of the inner mind were always like this--shapeless and without any substance, like they were just hovering in a world of nothing, yet still able to stand on solid ground. It was definitely an eerie feeling. The trooper look around itself, scanning the area for any form of life until it finally felt the sign of its enemy. It strode through the shifting wasteland of nothingness towards the heat signature, wondering what sort of opponent it would find itself against, until it managed to get close enough to see the woman standing there. The E-Trooper had a very sleek combat form, and it was capable of emitting electricity from its body to desensitize the enemy's muscles from the inside. the lightning crackled around its hands as it stood there, gauging the opponent to see who would be the first to strike.
