The crash wasn't loud, as they fell, but like love...when she landed, she felt good and warm and gooey. Gooey? Was that the right word for it? She didn't know.
"I do." She whispered again and then smiled at him. It was like their first meeting all over again, when she had landed on him and stayed there. Now only this time, he wasn't stuttering for words or trying to hide himself from her. How funny was that?
The tears that fell from his eyes startled her and she thought she said something wrong, but maybe...he was just so happy. "Oh baby..." She cooed, moving off of him and curling into his side. "You are the best thing to happen to me. I hope, and pray that I have shown you that." She smiled. "But if you are crying just from the words, I can't wait to show you what I can do for you in bed." She made a sound, "You'll be singing to the angels." Never more in her life was she ready to be connected someone so intimately.
It wasn't going to be sex, but soon, it was going to be them making love. Because they were in love. She had never...made love before.

He'd never thought that their first meeting would eventually lead to this - to 'I love you's and candles and romance. But he was so happy. So unbelievably, unashamedly happy with this, with her, with his life. He slung an arm around her without batting an eye as she curled next to him, sniffing once and trying hard to brush the traces of tears away, blinking furiously and smiling, still smiling so hard it ached. He laughed, the sound tighter than it should have been with his tears, but they were undeniably happy tears.
"You have; you've made me feel so - " He was struggling, fighting his own weighted tongue, but wine had loosened it. He could do this. "I've never been happier. There's been so much - being Mont Blonc, it's hard for me, so hard, but I'm so glad I came back, I'm so glad I met you, I - " And Lorne trailed off, leaning over to kiss her, a clumsy little kiss to her cheek first, then more tenderly and assuredly to her lips, lingering there.
Then, as he pulled back, said with a slight blush to his cheeks, "I just need you, " and he didn't even know how much, he just knew that he did.

"Okay." She said simply, and drew him up with her. Slowly ever so slowly, she pushed him towards her bed. The music continued, the lights flickered.
She laid him down and she whispered the same words he repeated to her.
"I need you too. I love you. Let me-"

Lorne felt light-headed as she coaxed him to his feet, head swimming with the confessions they had shared, overwhelmed by everything he was thinking and feeling at once.
But he knew it was okay. Like always, like she had from the start, Nadia never overwhelmed him in ways he didn't want. He knew was what coming when they reached the bed, when she eased him onto it. They'd shared so many nights here already, side by side, watching movies or simply talking. Now, it was different, now, it was new again, and now, his heart was pounding so fast he wondered if she could feel it.
It was okay - it was - he shivered at those whispered words, reached for her - and let her.
