 Alister Yggdrasill Alister smiled softly and patted Shino's head softly. "Alright. I'll be counting on you to work hard. Anyway, dinner's ready. Hope you like lasagna." Alister carried the pan to the table and set it down before making their plates. He poured their drinks and sat down a the table, smiling. "Enjoy. I have chocolate ice cream cake in the freezer if you want dessert." He winked before taking a bite of the lasagna. It would be good to have a housemate. And, such a cute one....It was sort of a blessing really.

Shino Nagamasa  Shino naturally blushed as his head was patted. As dinner finished cooking the two were dished up and eating. Shino was always careful when he ate but the first bite made him "mmm" with delight. "This is really good! Much better then anything Ive had at home." As the two continued with their meals Shino tilted his head. "Icecream? What exactly is that?" He had heard of the item before but had never tried it himself. Just what was this dessert anyways?

Alister Yggdrasill Alister blinked and paled a bit. Seriously? He didn't even know what ice cream was? What the hell? "It's a frozen dairy food that as several flavors and variations. You've...never had ice cream before?"

the gothic beauty 2 Shino Nagamasa Shino looked down at his plate. "No, Ive never had ice cream before. Maybe its something my parents didn't like and so I wasn't allowed to eat it." He mused out loud before he looked to Alister again. "Is it good? I don't think ive really had very many frozen things actually. Not sure why."

Alister Yggdrasill Well then! Shino was in for a treat. "It's delicious. There are some flavors I don't like, such as pumpkin and pistachio, but to each their own. My sister happens to love pumpkin-flavored ice cream, the weirdo. Anyway, finish your dinner and I'll cut a slice of the cake for you. Just don't eat too fast, or you'll choke."

Shino Nagamasa Hearing that it tasted really good Shino wanted to finish his dinner. He followed Alister's suggestion and didn't inhale his food, but he did eat a bit faster then he had been before. When he was done with his meal he sat and waited for Alister to finish his. After all, it would be rude to rush someone that was still eating just so he could try something new right? He had waited that long to try ice cream, a few minutes wasn't going to kill him.

Alister Yggdrasill Shino's excitement to try the ice cream cake was adorable. Alister made sure not to take too long, and cleared the table when they were both done eating. Setting the dishes in the sink and soaking them in warm water to be washed later, he grabbed two saucers and cut a slice of the cake for them before returning to the table and sitting down, giving Shino his plate and fork. "Now, be careful. You'll give yourself brain freeze if you eat this too fast. Alright?"

Shino Nagamasa Shino looked at the piece of cake and his eyes grew large. Hearing the warning the teen nodded and used the fork to take a bite. As soon as it hit his lips he shivered and swallowed. "Its cold!" Eyes lighting up at the taste of the dessert Shino took another bite trying to savor the taste. The piece started to melt in his mouth and he closed his eyes in pure bliss. This was the best thing he had ever tasted he was sure of it!

Alister Yggdrasill Alister gave a hearty laugh. "Of course it's cold! It's a frozen dessert after all!" This young incubus was too adorable. Alister always had a thing for cute boys, but Shino....Alister felt like he was falling in love with him. "I'll introduce you to many great foods while you're here. Sound good?" Alister ate his cake, watching Shino. He looked like he was really enjoying the dessert. When they were done, Alister stood and ruffled Ahino's hair. "I have to go talk to the Council now. You're welcome to more lasagna and cake, but don't eat it all. Got it?"

Shino Nagamasa Shino blushed as Alister laughed. Okay so he should know the dessert was cold when it was called frozen and had the word Ice in it. Did he really think it was going to be as cold as it was? No. He had no idea, but it still tasted amazing. "I wont eat it all I promise." Shino smiled and leaned into Alister's hand for a moment as his hair was ruffled. As the man left, Shino finished his piece of cake and put the food away. He had to look around the kitchen to find something to cover the lasagna, but it didn't take any time at all. Soon everything was put away and Shino had washed the dishes, counters, table, and anything else he thought might have gotten a little dirty during dinner. When he was finished he felt sleepy and returned to the bedroom Alister had shown him earlier. Getting onto the bed he yawned and curled up thinking he would only rest for a moment. He ended up falling asleep the extra pillow on the bed held against his chest and he was snuggling into it like a stuffed animal.

Alister Yggdrasill Alister made his way to he Citadel, which was an hour away even on horseback. He spent another two hours discussing Shino's care with the Council, and it was decided that Alister would be in charge of him. Since he had brought him back and seemed to be getting along with him. One the way home, even though it was way passed dark, he stopped by the tailors to buy some new clothes for Shino. Just average wear, though he did buy a few of the more feminine articles for him, too, thinking he was stunning in women's clothing. Nothing short or revealing, of course. Just a couple of blouses and women's jeans. A dress, too, but he'd hide it for now. Maybe after they got to know each other more, he'd give it to him.
Walking into the house, he turned the hall light on and stretched. It looked like Shino cleaned up. Going to the other's room, he peeked in to see him sleeping, cuddling a pillow. So cute~! Taking the dress, Alister set the other clothes near the closet and then hid the dress in his own closet before laying down in bed. He was exhausted.
In the morning, he woke early to make breakfast - banana pancakes with diced fruit in fresh yogurt. Since the sun was barely even over the horizon, he didn't wake Shino. Instead, he left a list of chores he could do, though made sure to note he could pick and choose what he did, and left after eating. He had early morning training to attend to, and then he had to help out in the fields. If he was lucky, he'd be home by lunch. Alister did write a note to Shino explaining he'd be staying with him for the time being, and where he had gone off to while he slept. Alister didn't want to worry the kid.

Shino Nagamasa Shino didn't even stir as Alister checked on him and put the clothing in the room. The incubus boy was sound asleep, having been rather tired from the events of the day. He didn't dream at that moment and it was probably a good thing. He didn't want any dreams about what had happened, well unless they were about the man that had saved him. Yes, in his mind, Alister had saved him from a life he really didn't want. When he did wake up the house seemed rather quiet. He could smell breakfast so he went towards the kitchen and saw the list of chores and the note. Looking the chores over he started to eat what he had found before he cleared up his spot. Once everything for the breakfast was put away, the teen started at the top of the list. Just because Alister said he didn't have to do it, didn't mean Shino was going to pick what he wanted. If these things needed to be done, he was bound to do them all. He had on the nurse outfit still, but put something longer underneath. He figured it was the best thing to do the chores in at the moment. Each time the boy finished a task, he crossed it off his list. He was probably a third of the way done with the chores when his stomach started to rumble. It must be close to lunch time. Should he make something for himself and Alister? After a few moments of thought, the teen did just that and made simple sandwiches. Of course he added other things to Alister's since he figured the man needed more food if he was going to be doing strenuous work. Getting the courage to go out into the village, Shino thought he might bring the other his lunch so he didn't have to go all the way back home. The first person he saw he asked if they had seen Alister and soon he was heading in the right direction. When he saw the man working Shino paused for a moment. He really was good looking, and for a moment his heart started to beat faster. He mentally chastised himself for having any such thoughts about the man who probably had so many people wanting his attention already. "Alister? I thought I would bring you lunch."

Alister Yggdrasill Alister finished his training around nine and was soon working in the fields with the others. The fields had revolving workers, so everyday there were different people tending to them. It also prevented mental and phsyical stress. He liked tending the fields, though. It was relaxing. Stressful, but relaxing. It got his mind off things. Unfortunately, he had tomstay passed lunch because there was so much to do.
When Shino came to see him with a lunch packed, Alister blinked and smiled at him softly. "You did? That was sweet of you." Setting the sickle down, Alister went over to a water pump and washed his hands, drying them off, before going over to Shino. He ruffled his hair again. "Did you find the clothes I bought last night?"

the gothic beauty 2 Shino Nagamasa Shino smiled and nodded. "Of course since you weren't home yet I figured you were working hard and needed something to eat." He blushed when his actions were called sweet. "Isn't this what everyone does?" He asked curiously noticing other people around them eating. While he didn't see anyone else with someone like him he had thought that if the situation he was in was normal maybe some of the others had made a lunch before hand? "Yes I did find them. I didn't want to get the clothing dirty so I just put some of the jeans on under the outfit." He looked at the field for a moment and picked up the sickle. "Is there any way I can help here? I got about a third of the chores done."

Alister Yggdrasill Alister shook his head. "Only for themselves. There are lovers and kids who bring lunch to their respective...person. But, no. I've never had lunch brought to me. I'm usually done before lunch." Shino asked if there was anything he could do in the fields and Alister frowned. "No. You have enough chores at home, and we have enough workers here." Honestly, he just didn't want Shino taking more of his work. Chores at home were fine. He could hand that off to him easily enough. But, village work was Alister's. "Did you sleep alright?"
