REBEL FRONTRUNNER What was he doing here? Cerpin wasn't sure what had possessed him to volunteer for this dangerous mission. Perhaps he just wanted to get back at the Royalists for tricking him into coming here in the first place. Or it could've been out of a desperate need to get out of those dark frightening tunnels as fast as possible. Either way, he'd managed to lose sight of Tevini and wandered through the swampy waters with an uncomfortable frown. Blossmom trekked behind him by foot, his wing still too injured to fly from the earlier battle. His lusus would watch the rear while the princeling took the front.
It was mostly from the gross squishy feeling under his boots. But also because he knew the water meant something very bad: any movement they made would be audible to their enemies. What a pain!
"Hey! Hey, wait up." The purpleblood's voice came out in a hushed but aggressive whisper as if he wanted to yell but couldn't risk it. He could see an ally wading through the muck with a stick of some kind. He didn't really know Matewa at all but she'd set out from the same place as him so that had to mean they were on the same side, right?
"I'm Cerpin. We should stick to-" He eyed her over, teal it looked like. Mixed with brown. "What happened to you? Ugh, hold still." Her face had splatters of swamp on it and he reached forward to wipe it clean with the remaining cloth scraps he had left of his cape. He'd torn it earlier to make a protective mask from the gases in the tunnels but had a few leftovers.
"Are you hurt? Stay behind me if you are." He personally wasn't great at fighting but if she were badly injured, he would try to step up to the plate to get them both out alive. It wasn't that he felt a strong need to help others but just that above all else, he really hated to lose.
So he just needed to make sure the Rebels won then.that me hook Feel free to godmod Cerpin walking along with Matewa, just wanted to get their meeting started! : 3

ROYALIST VANGUARD The mud was not as thick this direction; more foliage than funk. The smell was a little worse though. In fact, the stench was almost refreshing. Reminded him of home. Adamaz fell into the relaxed state of his usual walks. He felt much more aware and concerned with his surroundings when he was relaxed. It's hard to look ahead when you're checking your back. Adamaz heard a chitter from his hair and tensed. He motioned for Chiara to stop. Listening, he glanced up. Papa Roach hissed quietly, one feeler flicking towards a tree, and the other to Adamaz' trash can lid. He understood. Slowly, Adamaz lifted the trash can lid up to his hair. He felt the weight move from his hand to his head as his lusus hefted it with his strength. Adamaz stood perfectly still. He was good at that. He waited. Soon, curly horns and hair moved from behind the brush. " Yo." Papa Roach flung the trashcan lid with all his might. Adamaz v. Tevini: TRASH BAB AMBUSH

CAPTURED!TEVINI EURUFT and ADAMAZ KAROTH: You are now prisoner and imprisoner. Somehow restraining the rebel with whatever they have on hand, the royalist must now begin to haul them back to the majesty of the law.
The nearest centre of said majesty being Four Fronds, it's smartest to start heading south.==> And it's a long trek back. Tevini and Adamaz are now removed from the board! Trolls who were in a party with them, are now solo on their field, and had over 0 moves follow the 'splits into individual trolls' rules for determining remaining moves.

REBEL FRONTRUNNER Shivering, a small figure trudged through the swampy waters.
The last thing Tevini remembered was the sight of Luxara with a bolt in her stomach and the screams of battle overwhelming her. She knew she had fainted shortly after, Scuttle had filled her in, and eventually the rebels had managed to escape due to some kind of explosive cave-in. It had been too dangerous to stick around and ask questions once she'd awoken. At the chance to volunteer above, a flicker of purple had caught her eye and the redblood had hesitatingly raised her arm as well. She didn't know if he had a plan for getting out of the situation or not but the girl figured it was best to go with Cerpin and check.
Somehow the two had gotten separated in the swamp, however, and now she felt like she was going to cry again. Scuttle attempted to swim through the muck beside her but he kept getting caught in the reeds with his rollerskates, adding to her frustration. It wasn't his fault but everything about today was going so horribly wrong.
Squinting at a silhouette up ahead, the curly haired troll waded over in hopes of having found Cerpin. Horror struck her at the sight of an unfamiliar blueblood in tattered shape. Stumbling back in the muck, the image of green blood filled her mind once more and Tevini splashed into a run to escape the man. Unaware that he meant her no harm, the girl sped away to escape capture or death.
Panic flooding her mind, she glanced behind her to see if he was following and failed to notice trouble ahead. A voice called out, startling her, and then with a clang something shiny filled her vision before Tevini went down for the second time that day!

Royalists had 1 action left over. This is carried over to the same troll/group today but will not carry to tomorrow!
Rebels had 0 actions left over.
Nothing out of the usual happens ....

REBEL FRONTRUNNER CapturedThe blueblood grit his teeth, silently cursing his own folly. He should've been more careful....he should've gotten out before he got taken out, but what could he do? He heard the young troll getting taken out by another royalist and foolishly gone to protect him, and just where had that landed him? In a losing battle with another child and his lusus. Humiliiating.....his own lusus was safely back with others, having been left behind by Miache's terrible tumble into the swamp, it was a small blessing he was safe. However....finding him later would be an event in itself.
He cast a final forlorn look in the direction the other two had left and steeled his jaw. They would be fine. They had each other to protect. They just had to escape the maze and at least two of them would have won out against the enemy.....the....enemy which he had sided with until just recently. Perhaps he could try to escape and then get the other young troll free from his bonds. He knew he was going against the empress....it was foolish and irresponsible....but the rebels were too young....too innocent to know better. They needed a chance. Keionx had been right. They were all to be punished, the empress didn't care they were too young to know better, all that mattered was that they opposed her. They would be handled just as severely as any older troll. He had been too naive....too trusting of the empress. This was something that had to change....
