I've updated the Critical Hit section on the front page (bottom of the post):
"Rolling a 20 is an automatic hit. You do double damage, or damage equal to your STR stat, whichever is greater."
You can also get passives or abilities that make your crits better. 3nodding

Shoot. I didn't mean to... uh... Er... Ignore this. Just figuring out some bbcode for a posting format >///< .
Song Yi Kim : The Dark Path : Station of Awakening HP: 100/100 | ATK: 10 | DEF: 10
The final dream weapon, the dream sword, scattered into an array of light without any prompting from Song and vanished from view. In its wake, the three pedestals, now empty, rumbled. Their shaking kicked up a cloud of dust that hadn't been present a moment ago and they slowly sunk back into the platform, the dust settling and disappearing once the pedestals had made their exit.
You are now aware of your abilities.
At that moment, Song became conscious of magic for the first time. Except, it didn't feel like anything new. The newfound knowledge felt like something she had known of for forever. She carefully analyzed her thoughts and reactions to this situation. The sensation of learning something while also recognizing it was something that had always been there. She remembered writing this sort of scenario for an rpc not too long ago and so it caught Song's attention as something she should very carefully experience first-hand while she had this rare chance.
Absorbed in her self-observation, Song nearly failed to notice the new abilities her mind magically knew. Actually, no, who am I kidding? This is me I'm talking about. Absorbed in her self-observation, Song completely failed to notice the new abilities her mind magically knew.
The Power of the Guardian. Kindness to Aid Friends. A Shield to Repel All.
Actions - Ability:
Memiroa (10+roll=) > Heartless
[ This non-elemental spell strikes a single target for normal spell damage. Extremely malleable, it can take any number of forms: a simple bolt, a placed explosion, reinforcing a weapon, etc.. If the target is defeated within the same round that it was targeted by Memiroa and the target's DEF stat is less than or equal to Memiroa's points, then a card with detailed and honest information on the target will be created. When created, the card appears in Song's hands. Memory cards, as cards created by Memiroa will be called from now on, resemble the cards used in Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, likely a result of the very KH-esque nature of the dive. Most Memory cards are about the same size as Chain of Memories cards but a few are bigger to accommodate all the details. These cards are stored in an extradimensional space when not needed. When they are needed, they can be retrieved with some concentration (ability action). Multiple cards can be summoned at once when needed. The cards do not need to be held, as they place themselves and move with just a whim of Song's will (free action). The cards are not fit to be used in combat. They won't be destroyed permanently, but will appear to shatter, returning to whatever pocket dimension they are stored in. Defeating a target isn't the only way to create Memory cards. A willing target can also generate a Memory card without being defeated. ]

Passives Plot Armor ~ Important NPC
[ Being knocked to 0 hit points or lower doesn't make Song keel over. She rises back on her next post with a vengeance, or would if she wasn't so cowardly and passive, at 1 hp and in perfectly normal condition (no status effects, buffs, debuffs, etc.). After being activated, plot armor goes on cooldown until Song manages to heal back up to at least a quarter of her health. ]
Hey, staring at the numbers does nothing. Are you staring at the image of the desert, or at the glowing numbers along the edge of the platform?

She was staring at the numbers. I didn't know for sure how this was going to work, so I'm trying to play it safe. Although, if she had to, she'll probably pick a number to 'examine in closer detail'.
Dropping out for now, night be temporary. That remains to be seen, have fun!
Alrighty. I'll edit my latest post so Song falls into a different platform than yours. That way you can come back whenever and you'll still be alone on your platform. 3nodding
