Tera paused in the tying of knots, glancing over at Gael, then back to his work again, "Ashta, one of those that I am making the more spikey necklace for, is my bodyguard. Kyruie, his younger brother, he's not officially one but tags along sometimes. My mother is very over protective of me... though with good reason." He paused as he fiddled with a knot to get it just right while thinking over what it was that his mother was trying to protect him from. In a way, these days at least, it felt as though she was trying to protect him from the past and a boogeman which was a bit on the impossible side. Still, he couldn't complain since Tera having bodyguards seemed to make her happy.

Shaking his head he continued, "I know that half the reason they are friends with me is because they are paid to look after me, but at the same time I still like them. They are good people, even if Ashta isn't exactly the most social person and Kyruie... has... some problems. He's a lot like me in that aspect, so it makes me like him more and makes me want to help him where I can. I figure I can at least support him until his wife takes over." Though the idea of handing his friend over to a woman he didn't know didn't exactly sit well with him. No matter though, he couldn't really complain when he didn't know her. She might be a very nice woman after all.

Lifting up the first of the necklaces he looked it over, giving a bit of a smile, "Hmm, I think I like it." He mused before carefully setting it aside so he could work on the other one.

Tera watched Gael for a moment as he looked around before giving a little laugh, "Ahh, they aren't here. I... sometimes sneak off on my own." He said, lifting a hand to scratch the back of his head in an embarrassed fashion. He knew that it wasn't exactly nice of him to do but he couldn't help it, there were times that he wanted time to himself. That or time to meet with new people like he was doing today. Giving a smile he said, "That is nice of you to say, thank you, Gael."

Flushing a little bit he said, "Thank you for your kind words. It was rather fun to make, especially since I've never tried something like this before. I can't wait to show them their presents!" Well, as soon as he got up the courage, but that was another matter entirely. The fact that Gael thought that they looked good gave him a bit of that needed courage.

Tera blinked a couple times, then gave a little laugh, "Yeah, you're probably right about that, they probably wouldn't stick around if they found me sneaking around to be that irritating." The fact that the two hadn't quit yet meant that they weren't too upset with the fact that he sometimes disapeared. That or they just really wanted to keep their jobs...? He didn't want to get them in troubel or anything, he just wanted a bit of time off. Here was to hoping that they could forgive him were they to learn about him sneaking off, Ashta especially. He knew that the older brother was far more serious about his job then Kyruie. They might not know though given that his mother herself had only caught him a couple times which was miraculous.

Finishing up the with the knots on the second necklace he held it up, showing it to Gael, and gave a smile, "Yeah, I should definitely see about trying more new things in the future." He'd need to think about what it was that he wanted to do next time he headed out. Maybe he could drag Ashta and Kyruie off somewhere fun? They could do something fun together! What though he couldn't really say, but something!

Opening up his pack he took out a handkercheif, using it to carefully wrap up the pair of necklaces, "Thanks again for the lesson in necklace making, Gael." He said to him as he tucked them carefully away to keep them safe until he was able to give them to their owners to be.

"Pearl hunting? Hmm, that could be interesting." He mused, wondering what it might be like to try to go hunting for pearls. Would Ashta and Kyruie want to come along with him on that sort of adventure? He gave a thoughtful sound before giving a smile, "Yeah, I should defintely ask them if they want to do that sometime. Thanks for that idea." He'd need to do some reading up on how best to go about finding pearls and once he figured that out he'd talk to the brothers about accompanying him on that particular trip.

Giving a nod of his head Tera said, "I agree, it really is nice to meet new people. I like spending time with Ashta and Kyruie but it's nice to meet others too." Not something that the voice in the back of his head really agreed with, at all, but it made Tera happy. He would need to try to get out more often for more chances at meeting nice, fun people like Gael!

Pushing himself up to his feet Tera set to brushing the sand off from himself then held a hand out to his new friend, offering him help up to his feet.

"Ohhhh, so you can eat them and find pearls in them? Alright, I will have to see about looking up ways to keep them. Oh! Maybe I can use fire magic to cook them!" He said, clapping his hands together in excitement over the idea. The idea of cooking with fire magic was something that he would need to look into as well. Gael was really giving Tera so many ideas for new things that he was going to have to try out! Some would go well, some probably less so, but it would be fun to test everything out with or without his friends.

Tera gave a nod of his head, "I should be alright, thank you for asking. Good luck with getting your dinner done!" He should probably head back himself before anyone noticed that he was gone. It was pretty possible, given how long he'd been gone, that his mother would have noticed by now. Best that he got back sooner then later since that would mean he'd be in at slightly less trouble for wandering off again.
