Oh what a Wonderful Sky! Username: Parasitic Candii Soquili Name: Misstitcht Catscradle Origin/Meaning of Name: Misstitcht is really just a misspelling of ‘misstitched,’ meaning that something has not been stitched together correctly, so it’s not quite right; something is a little off. Catscradle is a popular string game! Temper: N/A Pets Won from Mind's Bribe: Zero Personality: While most cheshires will find their benefits lie in their words, to riddle and rhyme, and twist and tie tongues into knots, Mist finds strength from her eyes. They are hypersensitive, able to pick out a flaw from miles away. They lend her knowledge of hidden treasures just below the surface, where the earth hasn’t grown quite right, or a small grove that’s been obscured by overgrown shrubs. It’s perhaps because of this that her sense of direction is superior, as if she has a core compass that never leads astray. As well, Mist can read behavior and movements just as effortlessly as one that could infiltrate the mind, and so she is hard pressed to believe a lie. Never one to succumb to the spider’s web, she is a clever little bug that, while willing to tango with the predator, will always walk away the victor.
Despite all that she can see and lead others to, however, Mist is one hell of a deceiving kitty. It will be with a thoughtful look that she goads you in a certain direction, rather than a confusing riddle, and has no remorse for leading you astray. In fact, she finds great pleasure in steering others off the paths they were meant to take, and watches idly by as they turn in circles to try to find their way.
She loves to adventure, feeling as though she is following a string of life. As if life is a cobweb, and new paths lead to overlapping strings, and subsequently, new faces.
At her best, Misstitcht is often a spider. Spinning the strings of fate to her whimsy and luring others in with eyes that dance with mischief and cunning. A sense of superiority lurks around this one, even on her laziest days that are so often spent in the highest tops of the Tulgey Forest. She is hard pressed to be spurred from her branches, though. Years prior it would take something as simple as a caucus race to pique her curiosity and draw her out. These days, however, her tastes have grown a bit more refined, so it takes a truly intriguing event to tear her away. Say, traveling to a new, unknown land full of new strings to play with.
Role: Pathfinder (or Scout if you wish for a more general title) With the Cheshire Male nowhere to be found, surely their newly formed herd will need a good pair of eyes with which to map out their new home. Gifted with a keen sense of direction and even keener sight, Mist would be the perfect choice. There are bound to be nooks and crannies that will need to be explored. Her ever faithful hare will serve to burrow and make underground tunnels for later use. One never knows what kind of danger is lurking in this new world and when they will need some sort of escape route. Of course, they would most likely be used for fun instead, but who liked to dwell on the details anyway? Will you keep this Cheshire in the Wonderland Herd and notify Lat of breedings/children? Absolutely! 8D Prompt Chosen: One Prompt Response: Misstitcht had found herself terribly bored. The unusual had settled into being the norm, and her nose had sniffed out near every inch of earth, air and water this world had to offer. Nothing new lurked around the corner for her, nor did anything that was meant to surprise actually accomplish its goal, and so she spent her days lazing as a cat would. It was draining her spirit truly, and lest she go even madder, finding perhaps some sort of game in the darker strings of life as some of her old companions had, she opted to watch the silly, crafty creatures from high up in the trees rather than partaking in their shenanigans.
A saving grace found Mist the night that her sister came calling, warning of the decimation of Wonderland. There was no hesitance; perhaps a lazy sort of acceptance as her reflexes had dulled over the recent years (it was, after all, the price she paid for spending her days sleeping in the sun, feeding more into her cat blood rather than her Cheshire mind) but certainly no hesitance. In fact, she had been one of the first to acquiesce to Katya’s plan, following only after her far more exuberant sisters.
Of course, there was a matter of suspicion at hand. The youngest had returned from years abroad in her study, and now a threat posed itself on Wonderland, after as many years of comfortable peace? Or, as peaceful as Wonderland ever was, she supposed. There might have been a link there, a truly deceptive little bridge that would leave more than just their world in shambles. A sister with dark motives would have the capacity to pull their family apart, and Mist couldn’t fathom that. All of her loyalties laid with her sisters, and the very idea that they could fall in upon themselves sent a very unpleasant shiver down her spine.
On the other hand! It could all just be a big coincidence. Perhaps all the time she spent in the sun had fried her brain, to accuse her younger sister of such an incriminating thing. Or rather, maybe it was the lack of nonsense she occupied herself with that had given way to a pocket of clarity in her thoughts?
Her eyes would have to watch that one closely, for any sign of treachery, for trickery was surely to be there regardless, as it was in all of their blood. And her eyes, being the keys to her own twisted kingdom, had never steered her wrong before.
There were far more pressing matters at hand though, like the excitement of a new realm to sniff out. It could keep her curiosity sated for years, or even longer than that. There was no way, no how she was going to take this grand opportunity and shove it down the toilet, how rude would that be to the strings of fate? With a grin she hadn’t felt in months breaking out, threatening to swallow everything around her, she followed the sisters into that lake, bringing up the rear to keep their tails protected. As much as any cat hated water, this would be one bath she was willing to take with grace.

Oh what a Wonderful Sky!
Username: Kara Asumie Soquili Name: Itazura Ohajiki Origin/Meaning of Name: Itazura is Tease in Japanese Ohajiki is a Japanese game This is generally considered a girls' game. Players take turns flicking small, coin-shaped pieces called ohajiki with their fingers, to hit other pieces. In the old days, they used pebbles, or pieces from another game, go. Today, the pieces are usually made of glass. When playing, make a circle with your thumb and index finger (or middle finger), then flick one piece with your thumb. How to play (1) All players lay down the same number of ohajiki pieces on a flat surface, and then do jan-ken (rock, paper, scissors) to decide the order of play. (2) The first person to take a turn gathers everyone's pieces, using one hand, and then scatters them on the surface. (3) The player then indicates two pieces, and draws an imaginary line between them to show how he or she intends to hit one with the other. (4) If the player hits the piece as indicated, he or she keeps it. Otherwise, it is the next person's turn. At the end of the game, the person with the most pieces is the winner. Temper: n/a Pets Won from Mind's Bribe: Won a HH and gave five away so One. Personality: Itazura is as her name states. She is a tease in every way there is for one to be a tease. There is no way that she will ever be willing to pass up a moment to tease someone else no matter the case. Be it a flirty type of tease or a more tease on something another fears or something they are trying to hide. Like if they like someone or not. Being a tease is fun but Itazura knows when to not play that card. Like when one of her sisters are hurt or when it just isn't called for. Those at times when it isn't called for is the best time to use it so there is a fine line on that one. Besides being a tease Itazura is a fun loving girl who is all about games. There is nothing that she likes more then a good game. Well now there is. That is if there is a good bet on the game. After all that would make the game so much more worth it.
Outside of teasing and games. Itazura is a sweet soul who looks out for her sisters and when one of them is sad she will try with all her might to cheer them up. No matter how silly she has to be. Role: Lore Keeper Itazura has a love for stories. So being the keeper of them is something she enjoys very much. All types of stories are loved by her whether it be the history of her family or of all Wonderland. Or be it tells she has over heard from travelers. Will you keep this Cheshire in the Wonderland Herd and notify Lat of breedings/children? hell yes Prompt Chosen: 2 Prompt Response: Itazura has a soft spot for Kittredge. Happy to step down from the baby role. Itazura believes that with Kittredge back home that means that she can allow herself to grow up because to her having the baby of the family role was too much and didn't give her room to grow. So knowing how that feels, she isn't one to pamper Kittredge as much as the other and isn't overbearing towards her either. But she does spoil Kittredge in her own way. Always bringing cakes to her baby sister. Singing to her when things might get scary. Though with her baby sister being a Vorpal Sword there shouldn't be a lot there to fear. But Itazura loves Kittredge the most out of all her sisters.
She was very pleased when Kittredge came home so that she could meet her. Itazura is also honored to have such a skilled sister even if her skills were fighting. There was nothing intimidating about it. It was more calming to know that her sister was so skilled. That meant that she, herself was well protected. Being a Lore Keeper and all. Itazura isn't much of a fighter. She does know a bit in order to protect herself if she ever has to. Although spending her days with stories and spoiling her baby sister with cake was all that she wanted in life.
Itazura couldn't picture life without her baby sister now that she is back home with the rest of them.
Plot: Would love a plot where Itazura bumps into Daisuke.

Oh what a Wonderful Sky! Username: Of The Epidemic Soquili Name: Taitum FindMe & Sourberry Bunny (The white hare she has with her. His name does NOT have to be on the cert. XD) Origin/Meaning of Name: Old English, means cheerful bringer of joy. FindMe is a play on hide and go seek, since the point of the game is to find the ones that are hiding. Sourberry Bunny’s name is a play on his personality. Tai finds him a bit of a sourpuss and calling him bunny makes his ears twitch which amuses her. Temper: Playful Pets Won from Mind's Bribe: 1 Personality: On the surface Tai is a pleasantly fun individual. Life is a game for Taitum and the whole world is her board. She’s a bit spoiled but not terribly bratty, though she does enjoy riling people up something fierce. The idea that people have buttons that she can push and make them lose it amuses her horribly. Despite her aggravating nature she’s fun loving, loyal, and always has a story to share, usually a somewhat fictional one. Tai is fairly suspicious of strangers, always wondering if they are here to lead them to the axe, even though they are far from their mother’s beheadings now. She enjoys puzzles, solving them brings an even brighter grin to her features. She comes off as silly, not at all serious, and someone who would spend most of her days lazing around.
Past the surface features she portrays is an extremely, loyal, dedicated and headstrong individual. Taitum can hold her tongue better than anyone she knows, secrets are kept like bits of her own soul. She was aware that she’d have to make her own way in this world as she’d likely never have the crown, not that she really wanted it but regardless she would have to make something of herself. From a young age she loved games, so she began to turn everything into one. This has led her to be a sly, deceptive strategist who sees and hears more than she really should. She is at points, perhaps, too sound of mind but then again maybe not it’s hard to tell. Once you’re her prey there is no going back, she will hunt you till she has achieved her goal.
Perhaps her dedication to her objective is what makes her such a fine spy, even when the goal seems impossible she refuses to bend. Her loyalty to her sisters is staggering and she’d likely lay down her life even for Kitter whom she hadn’t met until recently. Though it’s doubtless that the one that knows her best is Katya, despite how close she is to all her sisters. Perhaps her closest companion is Sourberry Bunny whom she knows is in fact a hare but amuses herself with his disgruntled appearance every time she calls him bunny regardless. Still she can often be found explaining to him things despite the fact he very likely doesn’t understand, but a secret keeper has to tell her secrets to someone after all. Role: Queen’s Side Bishop Will you keep this Cheshire in the Wonderland Herd and notify Lat of breedings/children? Of Course bby Prompt Chosen: 1 Prompt Response:
Taitum had never ever ever been fond of water, even from day one, but she had always admired and trusted in Katya. These conflicting emotions left her in a very disgruntled state as she eyed the lake, dipping her paw into it with a crinkle of her nose before pulling back and slinking behind her eldest sister with a hiss. She couldn’t say one way or the other if she trusted in this omen but she trusted Katya implicitly. Still she had to wonder if this was the right choice, was there any guarantee they were actually going to make it to this new land? What if she ended up getting all wet for absolutely nothing? The mortified look on her face was enough to put a grin on Sourberry’s face. This only caused her to crinkle her nose more and hunker down behind her sister hiding under her swishing tail.
“I don’t like it.” She grumbled softly if only to herself as she swished her tail back and forth. While a new home would likely prove better for them in the long run right now it wasn’t looking to fun. Admittedly as soon as the idea had been sprung on her by Katya she had jumped at the chance. The idea of getting free of their mother and her beheadings was lovely, after all Tai quite liked her head. Besides she couldn’t very well let her beloved sisters wander out into the wilderness alone! What would they do? They’d be lost for sure, confused, and simply unable to survive without her there. So it had been without question that she would indeed be going she just had forgotten the water part. She eyed the large game pieces behind her, reminders of her time spent playing chess here with anyone and everyone that would give her the time of day.
How many times had she challenged Katya and lost? She’d begged her elder sister to teach her how to play, pleaded, because it was the only game she couldn’t rightly grasp. No matter how hard she tried she just couldn’t manage to achieve anything past a feeble loss. It didn’t bode well for her future in this land, and thankfully, eventually with help she had learned and become a master. She lifted a paw to roll the red queen piece back and forth in thought.
Taitum desperately hoped that where they were going was safer then where they were now. It had better not be an ocean either, she’d be furious if they had to live in the ocean. Water was only good for making tea to drink among other various food making tasks. She wanted trees to climb, mountains to scale, warm days spent under the sun and it’d be even better if it wasn’t filled with strange things out to eat you every moment of every day. She really had grown tiresome of the constant snap snap of the Bandersnatch and Jabberwocky. Honestly what was a girl to do with such things constantly out to chew on her?!
Her eyes drifted around those gathered eventually falling on the young Kitteredge whom had swooped in and subsequently taken her place. Being the youngest had its own merits and this young upstart had come along and snatched the title right out from under her. At this point she wasn’t entirely sure how she felt about it, but she supposed it would be alright as long as she still got some attention. Namely from Katya whom she admired as the oldest but also from the Iri; though she admittedly could do without the more ‘wet’ attention from Sera who was always dripping paint everywhere and it was a bit like water really. She supposed if they could divide the attention between them then maybe it wouldn’t be so bad.
Taitum huffed glancing up as her sisters seemed about ready to leave. Charl seemed to be the one having the most trouble with all of this which was saying something since she never seemed bothered by much of anything. Tai assumed it wasn’t just the fact they had to get wet but she figured if her sister wanted to talk about it she knew where to find her. The Cheshire pushed herself to her feet with a low groan as she stepped forward to eye the water. Well there was no sense in backing out now, she had said she would go and go she would. Never had there been a challenge that Tai had run away from and she wasn’t about to start with one so important as this.

Oh what a Wonderful Sky! Username: pippi18848 Soquili Name: Lucy Goosey Duckduck Origin/Meaning of Name: Lucy Goosey is a children's book and Duckduck is in reference to Duck duck goose Temper: Playfully Curious Pets Won from Mind's Bribe: 0 Personality:" What is that over yonder? Does it shine? Does it sparkle? Is it prickly? Or is it noisy? Will it amuse me? Will it hurt others? Will I like it? Will my sisters? Come out to me the objects and beings that are in my sight. Come to me and let me see Let me see and discover what you are. I am curious. I must see. May we play? If you hurt my sisters you will pay Do not bribe me either For that will also make you suffer I like games yes I do Will you play a game with me? Will you celebrate our unbirthdays? Will you come for tea? I like tea just as much as I like to play If you don't like tea then go away If you frown I will look at you upside down I am silly can't you see? I am silly and like to play Will you play with me? " **She insisted on saying all that herself about who she is, but simply put, she's an extremely curious kitty. Lucy has to investigate everything around them. If it doesn't try to eat her, she'll try to convince it to play and come for tea, but if they turn down the tea then away they must go. She is incredibly loyal to her sisters and will defend them no matter what. So if anyone was to insult any one of her sisters they wouldn't see her attack.** Role: She is a Gatherer. Her curiosity over everything makes it extremely useful for finding things that could help the herd. Will you keep this Cheshire in the Wonderland Herd and notify Lat of breedings/children? Yes! <3 Prompt Chosen: 1 Prompt Response:"We're leaving Wonderland? We're leaving Wonderland? But, I love Wonderland." Lucy sobbed as she hid in one of her hiding spots as she tried to process the news. Granted it wasn't required for her to leave Wonderland, their home, but she couldn't bear the thought of being seperated from her sisters. Who would she have tea with? Who would she celebrate unbirthdays with? She HAD to go, but, she was going to miss their home horribly. "This is just so unfair!" Her tail lashed out against the rock, causing her to cry out in pain. "This really isn't fair." The sky colored mare cried for a few minutes more, before she wiped the tears away with her tail, and sighed. "I guess it would be good to have an adventure. I've explored ever single nook and cranny that there possibly is and I'm actually quite bored." Lucy got up slowly and looked at everything around her. It was true that she had seen everything in Wonderland, and her curious nature was itching to see something new. As she looked at the scenery around her something nudged at her foot and she couldn't help but smile as she looked down. "Hi there Goose, you silly rabbit. Are you ready for an adventure too?" The rabbit nodded and started to hop away, and Lucy couldn't help but laugh. "Well, my silly friend, it's time to go. Time to see lands anew and discover new things. Let's go meet up with my sisters!" She followed behind him, singing a small little tune to herself. "What is it over yonder? Does it shine? Does it sparkle..."

Oh what a Wonderful Sky! Username: Cuppa Darjeeling Soquili Name: Brittanica Backgammon Origin/Meaning of Name: English and Iraqi Temper: Ephemeral Pets Won from Mind's Bribe: 0 Personality: She is a warrior with a gift for prose. A bit of a loose cannon, she follows orders to a point, however if she feels strongly enough that her gut is telling her to make a different call, she will. She loves playing with words, seeing the ways that the syllables and sounds roll off her tongue. During battle, when dealing a fatal blow she enjoys singing tauntingly to her foes. She finds an unsettled enemy easier to vanquish.
She is extremely loyal but rather loud, opinionated, hot tempered, and, at times, childish. But, at the same time, she will do anything for family or a good friend in need. As devious as she cam be, she is a truthful mare and often to the point of bluntness.
The hare that accompanies her, whose name is Jack, when not in battle, often tries to act as her conscience, but she rarely listens. However, she greatly loves her “Jeffy”.
She is far more insecure than she lets on. Role: She is a warrior through and through. She showed agility and skill from a young age and it was a natural fit. She has knighthood aspirations. Will you keep this Cheshire in the Wonderland Herd and notify Lat of breedings/children? Certainly. Prompt Chosen: 1 Prompt Response: Duty called and the pale mare happily followed. Happy, might not have been the best word. Though she chanted a marching tune beneath her breath, inside, she was a ball of nerves. Jeffy, the hare was speeding along, trying to keep up with her fast paced, noiseless gait.
“Hark! Now the drums beat up again,
for all true soldiers valliant,
then let us list, and march I say, over the hills and far away!
Over the hills and o'er the main
to Flanders, Portugal and Spain, the
Queen commands, and we'll obey,
over the hills and far away.”
The song died in her throat as her sisters became hushed and she could hear a deep rattling breathing ahead of them.
Was it an enemy scout?
A walker?
She couldn’t say.
Ears pinned back and claws were released as her tail twitched in agitation.
She wordlessly looked to her sisters and jerked her head.
Their new home would need to be rich in resources, with plenty of shaded canopies. She did enjoy the dappled light and the security it provided.
Game was also necessary.
This land they were exploring had it all.
But if it had walkers, well that just wouldn’t do at all.
She knew her color was useless for hiding, so, as brave as Caesar she puffed out her chest and stalked forward.
“Yoooou hoooo!” She called.
“There was an old lady named Fife!” she yelled leaping forward. “Who had never been kissed in her life!” She waited, still hearing the sounds. “She saw a large CAT.” Ears perked forward. “And said, I’ll kiss that! And the cat said,” she was cut off as the dark creature moved forward, in such a blur, after her sisters, “NOT ON YOUR LIFE!” She shrieked going after it, hackled bared as she leaped onto it’s back and began clawing madly at flesh and fur.
She drew blood and the moment she did the creature yelped and disappeared in a puff of mist.
‘Gammon, as she liked to be called, tumbled to the ground, catching herself, panting, the metallic, sweet taste of sticky blood dancing in her mouth.
“Sisters, I suggest that we move. I will not stand until every foe has been removed from the land in which we choose to reside”, she vowed, staying true to her name’s sake. The grin on her face looked more menacing than that of happiness.
Her family was threatened and ousted from their home.
They would pay.
They would pay with blood.

Oh what a Wonderful Sky! Username: ChezaRain Soquili Name: Siv Jacks Origin/Meaning of Name: Arandom one was chosen and a game suiting thrown on. TA-DAH! Temper: Questionable Pets Won from Mind's Bribe: 0 Personality: Much like her last name game, Siv has an up-in-the-air personality. Until she wakes in the morning, you never know what she's going to be like the next day, and fairly often she says nothing but utter nonsense with random bouts of clarity. Role: An Artist, as it's the only role she could possibly complete and not have others questioning if it is fact or fiction she shows and tells. Will you keep this Cheshire in the Wonderland Herd and notify Lat of breedings/children? Of course~ Prompt Chosen: 1 Prompt Response: The caves, yes, the caves.... that was the idea, or so she heard. Wandering off into the unknown and finding a new, an adventure, venturing... she shook her head and tilted it heavily to the left, examining her eldest sister form this angle because it made much more sense. "Leave?" A single word uttered, but before a response, Siv had begun walking towards the lake. She could or could not, it was her choice, and she could return or not too. She stopped seconds before the lake could brush her feet and turned around. She'd almost forgotten something important. Brushing bast her bewildered siblings, she reached high in the resting place of some creature or another and pulled a teacup from the hole. Though the teacup itself seemed nothing more than a simple trinket, and for the moment it was. The Queen adored it, so therefore Siv had to take it with her as she left. There was buzzing. No, not buzzing, questions. How did she get it, why was it in a hole, blah blah blah. Unnecessary. She walked into the lake waters, time to leave, she was glad she thought of this. She'd have to come back tomorrow for the Queen. But she didn't.

Oh what a Wonderful Sky! Username: Wasteland Wyvern
Soquili Name: Zhanna Sawbones
Origin/Meaning of Name: Russian name meaning 'God is Gracious'.
Temper: Broken
Pets Won from Mind's Bribe: 0
Personality:
Zhanna is complicated. She shares her body with an individual who calls himself Sawbones. Zhanna is a healer, and a caring individual. Sawbones is a maniac and a manipulative monster.
In Wonderland Zhanna was considered strange for being so normal. The magic in the air and the world being full of wonder and beauty allowed her to be 'normal'. Her body was her own and she was a happy go lucky Cheshire with not a care in the world. After she left Wonderland with her sisters the lack of magic in the world caused her personality to fracture and split, thus giving birth to Sawbones. Most occasions he just watches from her eyes, often giving rather bad advice, and when he feels the time is just right stealing control of her body and forcing her to do terrible things to other Soq. Despite her disgust at Sawbones atrocities she cannot deny that she had learned much of Soq anatomy from his brutal murders and dismemberment of the bodies. She is not sure if her siblings know of her condition and she is afraid of what will happen if they find out.
Role: Healer - She likes to help others with their pain and will try her best to fix anything she comes across. She is not exceptionally good at this skill yet and will definitely be seeking a mentor. Artist - As a hobby when she is not needed to heal others she had taken up singing and dancing. She's not super good at it and might eventually seek a trainer, but as it is just a hobby she also might not.
Will you keep this Cheshire in the Wonderland Herd and notify Lat of breedings/children? Yes
Prompt Chosen: 1
Prompt Response: The first thing she felt was fear. Fear at leaving their homeland, fear at loosing everything she knew. She was practically shaking when Katya brought them all to the lake edge and explained her plan. The second thing she felt was curiosity. Despite the fear making her knees knock she was curious about this other land? Was there really another land beyond their home? If Katya said so then it must be true, for she had never doubted her in the past. The fear was back, niggling at her mind and making he wonder if all they would do down there was drown. 'No... No. We will not. Katya has promised us another world.' She steeled herself and smiled brightly looking to her little family and said, "I will go. I want to see this new world."

Oh what a Wonderful Sky! Username: CitrusCupcake Soquili Name: Bara NButterfly (Butters for short/nickname) Origin/Meaning of Name: Bara is welsh for Bread, so she is named for the Bread-and-butter-fly from Alice Through The Looking Glass Temper: Single-minded Pets Won from Mind's Bribe: 0 from the bribe itself as I was unable to enter, have won one from a subsequent rp contest Personality: Bara is an obsessive. A truer word was never used when describing this mare, though her obsessions are also very much like her namesake, fleeting and flitting from one to the other as she becomes bored with each obsession or a new one comes along to distract her from the previous. Places, people and things; none of these are immune to her attentions and when she becomes interested and then obsessed for the short time she lives and breathes whomever or whatever has caught her notice. If it is another Soquili than she will pretty much try and be them, going so far as to try to amend her appearance with leaves, fur and feathers (whatever she can get her paws on that she thinks suits) and for a time being will follow and echo their behaviour. She has become a fairly skilled mimic through her obsessive nature.
She does however have one singular passion that is never discarded and is always the fall back when she can find nothing new to interest her, and that is the game that she made up. She claims to have made it up, or sometimes she says it came to her in a dream all in a summers day. The game is Croh-Kay, and she is always refining it and adding new rules, so it's almost impossible to play but she keeps strong-pawing others into playing, and will talk for hours about it if you get her started on the subject.
Role: Keeper of Croh-Kay (or Pawn XD) Will you keep this Cheshire in the Wonderland Herd and notify Lat of breedings/children? Yis yis Prompt Chosen: #1 Prompt Response:
"No, no, no!"
She'd turned her back for two seconds and all of the croh-kay equipment had slithered, crawled or ran away. No porcu-balls to be seen, no prong-arches and the snake-sticks, well who knew where they had secreted themself in the short time that her attention had been elsewhere. She had thought that she had seen something new but it turned out to be a bird she had seen before, so she had come back to the game area and now she had absolutely nothing to distract her from her thoughts.
They were distinctly unsettling thoughts, the realisation that she and several of her sister would be leaving the home they had know for so long. She knew that she could stay, but Katya and the sisters that were following her were her favourite sisters (and the least likely to tell her to go away when she wanted to tell them a new croh-kay rule, but she was sure that wasn't the main reason she was going. Really), and so she had said she was going.
Unfortunately after saying that she would, she had sat and thought about what that really entailed. Not only was she not overally fond of long journeys, she really didn't like swimming, and that was before she even dwelt on the fact that she wouldn't be able to take all the collections that she had built up during her many and varied obsessions. That was the saddest point, and she spent a great deal of time draped over the largest branch of her favourite tree, the disobedience of her croh-kay equipment forgotten for now and she moped about what she was losing.
There was days and days of this, as she became slowly obsessed with sulking and moping, experimenting with new positions and places to slump in and on, and seeing which of the sighs that she made elicited the most reaction from those around her. It was one of her sisters that eventually snapped her out of the 'funk', by mentioning that wherever they ended up making their new home would have new things and experiences. Her moping marathon ended there and then, and she absolutely did not become obsessed with when they were leaving, and where they were going..
"Can we leave? Can we leave yet? Please can we leave. Leaving now. Leave. Let's go!" The words even spilled out whilst she was sleeping and did so until the day of their departure.

Oh what a Wonderful Sky! Username: Shi Berry Soquili Name: Rikka Riddler Origin/Meaning of Name: Rikka, of Finnish origin, variant of the name element 'rik' meaning 'mighty,' 'distinguished,' and 'ruler.' Riddler, meaning 'one who speaks in, or propounds, riddles.' Temper: Esoteric Pets Won from Mind's Bribe: 0 Personality:
Perhaps the best way to understand Rikka is to not attempt to understand her at all. Very few can handle her and her oddities. She's simply mad, absolutely. This madness manifests itself in many different ways. For example, she has odd habits, such as an erratic wave of her tail that does not follow any set rhythm or method; a crooked, lopsided, unsettling grin; random chirping and clucking; bouts of senseless laughter; emphasizing the wrong syllables in words. She is more than happy to attempt to annoy others and will often hit her teacups and saucers around, causing the most grating sounds, mixed in with no shortage of cackling on her part. As well as, she has no concept of personal space, and can easily make other uncomfortable with her presence by simply being close to them. She tends to speak in riddles and frequent alliterations, though all her speech is nonsensical. Few understand what she says. Despite this, she is highly intelligent. Her chess pieces are the only sign that would indicate that she is three steps ahead of another, though one comes to find that the depths of her madness conceal a trickier character. All in all, one could easily go mad in her presence, for there is no order, rhyme, or reason to anything Rikka does.
Role: Riddle Speaker
Maddest of the mad, you say? Consider the role filled. Rikka's personality is defined by madness and an inability to be understood by the average individual. Anyone with any kind of sense would find her impossible to deal with and decode. Her words are cryptic and obscure. She enjoys making other people think rather than thinking for them, even making them think harder. She wonders if people have that capacity, and most find her agitating and ridiculous. She frequently plays riddle games, knowing the answers to seemingly senseless questions and scenarios, and you can find her playing with her rabbit, sisters, and other herd members. She will show up uninvited at the most random and auspicious times just to play her games. She lives for it, and there is no one else better suited for the role than Rikka.
Will you keep this Cheshire in the Wonderland Herd and notify Lat of breedings/children? Of course! Prompt Chosen: 1 Prompt Response:
"Three sisters at breakfast were feeding the cat, The first gave it sole – Puss was grateful for that: The next gave it salmon – which Puss thought a treat: The third gave it herring – which Puss wouldn't eat. Explain the conduct of the cat."
The rabbit could not possibly know the answer, but Rikka asked it nonetheless. Gleaming, amber eyes gazed into the similar eyes of the little white rabbit in a blue waistcoat, waiting. She had crouched down to the rabbit’s level, her face only a claw’s length away from its – the rabbit’s claw, that is. They shared a lengthy silence, the only sound being that of the maddening golden pocket watch, with its broken tick setting off after every full second, then four, then three, then seven, then half, then six, then three, then eight… whenever it pleased, really. After some amount of time, she cackled, rearing up then settling on her haunches, head tilted and hair askew. “Yes yes, yesyesyes!” she laughed, lowering herself to the ground again. It was odd that the rabbit had not run off; rabbits never behaved as such. This one had grown accustomed to Rikka. It was possible that it shared a bit of her madness… just a bit.
It was then that she heard movement behind her, lots of movement. “’Ey?” A single ear perked up. She did not turn around, waiting for the others to approach. “Sssisters,” she hissed, though not in animosity, for she adored her sisters and all their oddities. She gazed up at Katya when she came to stand above her, looking much like a dog with its head on its paws, despite her lopsided grin stretching from ear to almost the other ear. “Care to play? This riddling rabbit is a riot!” Surely they had grown used to her nonsensical speech patterns and ridiculous games by now, in fact, they were probably the few that really understood her at all, save that lovely rabbit. Today, they did not seem interested in her words, though. Her eyes brightened as Katya spoke, tail swaying this way and that, sometimes fast and sometimes slow, uncoiling and twitching in accordance to no discernible pattern. “Intending to leave, you are?” She looked around at her other sisters, all with the same, certain expressions on their faces. Her eyes flicked back to Katya, laughing. “You’re playin’ me with yer pranks, aren’t ya?” she asked, eyes narrowing, well aware of Katya and her mischief.
No?
Oh, how curious this was! They all seemed so serious – as serious as they could manage – and that was so peculiar. She listened to them explain their case, telling her of the dangers threatening their home and how they had to leave. She pouted. “Aaw, but it’s simply wonderful here in Wonderland!” she chimed. Her mother was not the kindest, and, though she valued her head as much as the rest of them, she relished in the uncertainty on whether or not she would be able to keep it. They continued, and she could not help but wonder upon what that Cheshire male had stumbled. He had been gone for quite some time now, though she had not payed much mind to his absence till they had brought it up just now. The dangers of which this male had spoke seemed very grim. Leaving seemed like such a sensible option to choose, and, to Rikka, that did not make sense.
On the other paw, however, the notion of exploring a completely novel land delighted her. The unpredictability was enticing, for who knew what could be out there! There was more uncertainty in the true unknown than there was here in Wonderland, a place she in which she was confident and adapted. It made more sense to stay here in the comfort of the familiar, and it was not like Rikka to be sensible.
“Hehe, you’re mad, Katya,” she giggled, closing her eyes. That giggle grew into a maniacal laugh very quickly, and she fell onto her side, rolling onto her back. Opening her eyes and looking up at her other sisters, she only laughed even more. “You’re all absolutely mad, ahahahaha!”
That response was all her sisters needed to know that she would support them in their endeavor. She would go with them, and she would bring all her insanity with her.

Oh what a Wonderful Sky! Username: Nikkichomp Soquili Name: Curiosity Origin/Meaning of Name: Curiosity, for her penchant for sticking her nose in *everything* Temper: Calculating Pets Won from Mind's Bribe: 0 Personality: Curiosity is just that -- highly curious. She finds everything around her to be interesting, and will carefully analyze and mentally catalogue all of it. She is also highly logical and critically-minded; she plans several steps ahead and greatly dislikes when anything unexpected arises. But, she is fully able to roll with whatever comes her way, using new situations as a good reason to practice coming up with new moves on the fly.
There is nothing she loves so much as a good game of chess. She stumbled upon a rousing game of chess, complete with living pieces, shortly after she emerged from her basket, and she has been obsessed ever since. She will drop everything to play a game of chess, no matter how pressing her other responsibilities may be, and while she typically wins, a loss comes with a bit of a tantrum. If she were the Queen, she'd probably have ordered beheadings of anyone who beats her at chess. Luckily for her opponents, that honor still lies with her mother. Curiosity doesn't suppose she'd ever REALLY want to be Queen, despite the inability to literally destroy her opponents, because she has a position in the herd that is much better suited to her tastes.
Because Curiosity views all things in life as an abstract game of chess, she refers to everyone in the third person, even if she's talking directly to them -- and even when talking about herself. To do otherwise would be to fail to see all the pieces on the board as pieces, and emotional decision-making was most often the downfall of any well-planned maneuver.
Role: She is the secondary protector. Curiosity naturally thinks in a way that will allow her to spot most threats a mile away. However, she would never want to be primary protector -- she feels that there are too many responsibilities that would come along with it, such as meetings, diplomacy, and other nuisances. She wants to be back in the shadows a bit, watching and planning. Will you keep this Cheshire in the Wonderland Herd and notify Lat of breedings/children? Yes, yes, yes!! Prompt Chosen: Number 1 Prompt Response: As soon as Katya declared her intention, Curiosity's mind started churning. This...this would be quite the undertaking. Immediately, she ruled out a multitude of possibilities. There would be no convincing her sisters to stay, she could see that instantly. Because more than one of them were going, the danger to the travelers dropped significantly. How many of the essential herd positions would be left vacant during this journey, how long would this journey take? She appreciated that someone, or someones, would have to go on the hunt for a new home sooner than later, as she could see the threats to their beloved home becoming more and more likely with every decision the Queen made. No, it was essential for the survival of Wonderland that someone go now, and who better to choose than the children of the presiding Queen? There was little to be done but support her sisters in their endeavor. And with booby traps scattered around the perimeter of Wonderland, along with the guards that would remain in Wonderland to protect it and its leader, Curiosity knew that her skills would be needed more during this journey.
"Curiosity will come along," she stated. "Can't carefully choose a spot without her cunning." Curiosity grinned, eyes wide, and vanished slowly, starting at the tip of her tail, leaving only her face floating in the air. Yes, this trip could be most interesting. She couldn't wait to see what it held in store.

WINNER WINNER WINNER! spelldancer Oh what a Wonderful Sky! Username: spelldancer Soquili Name: Catriona Cricket Origin/Meaning of Name: Each of the Two Cricket Game Temper: N/A Pets Won from Mind's Bribe: 0 Personality: Clever like her sisters, Catriona shares their fondness for words. She enjoys the patterns they create and the rhythms that abound in the spoken and sung voices of every living thing. She is fascinated with mimicry and is known to spend time following a specific noise until she finds its source and is able to reproduce it. Oddly though, she is quieter than some of her sisters, more apt to listen than to speak at times. This is because she finds everything so very fascinating that sometimes she forgets to talk. This doesn’t mean that she is silent. And by no means does Catriona keep her opinions to herself. She is a singer and has an enchanting voice that she happily uses to her advantage. She can command a group to listen when she wishes and will absolutely use that to help distract the marks for her sisters. She is mischievous and silly, with a love of strange things and tea of course. And for some reason, the patience that she shows when chasing a song can vanish in an instant when confronted with stupidity. She is tolerant yet judgmental, with what appears to be neither rhyme nor reason, but she claims there is always a reason. Catriona just refuses to explain herself in any way that makes sense. Role: Riddle Speaker Will you keep this Cheshire in the Wonderland Herd and notify Lat of breedings/children? Abso-totally-lutely Prompt Chosen: 1 Prompt Response: We must leave is what her sister had said. That we must go to another place that is not in danger. But, Catriona wondered, haven’t we always been in danger? The queen is mad, and not in a good way… but Catriona, even with her disregard for rules, knew better than to say that out loud anywhere in Wonderland. With a honesty that she reserved for herself and her oldest sister, because every queen needed an frank and honest bard at their side, she told Katya, “Truly and fully there is need for wisdom. Follow the path that your heart requires but walk it with a mind wide open and trust in the sky.” Katya would understand. She would know that Catriona would follow her where ever Katya went. Catriona was not especially eager to leave. There were so many things left unknown, notes left undone, and songs left unfinished. But there would always be new things, new notes, and new songs to be sung. It was not that Catriona did not believe her sister was correct, it was that Catriona wondered at the quickness of the departure. As she knew was always the case, there were the silent notes that went unheard in the story. The ones that could only be derived from the pauses and the stops. Well, what she was hearing in that silence was urgency and something that bothered her more than anything else. Fear. It was that tiny thread of fear that convinced Catriona more than anything else to following her sister was the correct thing to do. Even if she would have done it no matter what. So no hesitancy, no waffling, no worries, Catriona looked only forward into the depth of the water at the edge of the Look Glass Lake and sung not of goodbye but heralding in the dawn.
