Piper was pulling some Agni Ki up in this labyrinth. Sort of. There was a lot of fire and flailing and cursing, so close enough.

And then she really kicked it up a notch.
By adding water into the mix again, steam quickly formed around her and Lock's battle. It was a little easier to make out the shadow version of herself against the mist, although the steam began to sting.

Lock was very terrified of Piper's fire, and in fact it just solidified his resolve to never get on her bad side.
He had his own problems though, dealing with a doppleganger that was kicking his a**.

Piper dodged out of the way of a stream of blue fire, the heat as it passed by enough still to burn her. Jeeze, she still hadn't figured out how to sustain something that hot, how come her clone could??
"Ex-a-SCUUUUUUZE me? Hah!" Piper made a show of dusting herself off, but the motion was purposeful, the concentration evident. A future popstar had to know how to incorporate cool moves even in battle, and as she swept her fingers off, little sparks flew. "I totally think it's the perfect time, Lock, 'cause--"
She pressed her hands together in the shape of a gun and "fired", and a bolt of lightning flew forward and eradicated her shadow in a flashy display worthy of the reaper.
"--I'm done!" she gloated as she blew nonexistent smoke off her fingers.

Lock gritted his teeth in a frown. So Piper had won. He didn't really care (it was just a pissing contest after all), but he did care that Piper was going to lord it over him for the next forever.
Sighing he said, "Well as you can see-" Dodging a hit from the left. "I'm not."

At least he was spared the gloating for now.

Once Lock finally did the thing, Piper whooped loudly and skipped on over to slap his shoulder. "About damn time, Jackin' hell! But hey, WE HOBGOBLINS YOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
She yelled as much as she started to pull them to the supposed exit, because Jack forbid if they had to do it over because they stuck around too long.
