"I'm just going to stand here and catch my breath before getting on my bike." She gestured to the big chopped Harley parked nearby. "I promise I'll be good to get home."

She studied Saguenay for a moment, once more convinced she knew him from someplace. That grin especially was sooooo familiar, as if she'd just seen it. But she'd just been hanging around with Nick at the range, not with the man standing before her. It was really going to bother her that she couldn't figure it out. She'd have to give Nick a call later, sometime in the next few days, to see if he had a twin brother who was running around town. And who was a magical knight.

"What about you?" she asked. "Are you going to be okay to get home?"

Watching him fade into the shadows, Prudence began to wonder if this wasn't just some bizarre waking dream. It still seemed beyond surreal, being rescued from a speeding car by a knight in Roman armor who seemed to know who she was. Yet here she was, watching him leave, her hand still tender from impacting the pavement. It had really happened.

She shook her head and headed toward her bike. She was still convinced Saguenay was a knight like Hvergelmir was. Well, not exactly like she was -- his outfit was different, for one, covered with Mars symbols. Did that mean his magic was different? That would make sense. Though he hadn't used any magic, just speed and strength. Was that part of it though? She knew nothing about knights, just that they existed and were magical people.

Pru would be calling Nick tomorrow for sure, just to find out if he was having her on and had gone to a costume party as a gladiator or something equally unlikely. Maybe he would have more insights or answers or something. Mounting up, she started the big motorcycle and headed off into the night.
