Wither woke up aching on the floor and groaned, he opened his eyes and looked around in the semi-darkness before bolting straight up and looking very confused. There were a lot of other auras around and it was a bit overwhelming to wake up to. He could see bars now as he eyes adjusted and he frowned deeply, spotting, "what the hell ... is this some kind of a joke?"
He turned his head to look around more only to notice more fully there was something fastened around his next. He moved his fingers over the collar and attempting to find a way to take it off.
Before he got to far he torches were lit and the 'show' began. He sat listening to the dark man in the middle and really wanted to laugh, thinking the whole thing funny and wondering how the other planned to make them to any such thing. It all seemed very out of a sci-fi movie if he'd ever seen one. Had the negaverse recruited to make a movie.
He wasn't really voicing any concerns, until he allowed the girl to leave her cell and she took off running. It was then one would expect a cut scene, but instead the girl was killed for real in the most horrifying way. It was one thing to see on TV but another entirely to see up close.
He jumped up, "HOLY ******** s**t," he cried out and scrambled back against the back bars of the cage his heart hammering in his chest. He was so panicked he didn't hear his superiors voice at first. He found himself between gasping and heaving trying to to throw up for some time.
"What the ******** was that," he finally managed, looking out to the others before hearing someone call out to Beni and turning to look at the other. A senshi whom he'd had quite the altercation with earlier in the month was the culprit.
Beni responded and she responded again turning Wither's expression into one of sheer confusion, wondering what this senshi had to do with Beni and the negaverse. He felt some relief Beni was there, only just so.
"Beni," he called out, trying to ignore the little senshi's presence as she moved further way from her, "it's Wither ..." After a moment he said for the other's not Beni, "Lt. Witherite."

Cadharas: Cell Cluster 1
The baby knight stayed still, keeping to his knees until he heard the sounds of others waking. By this point the dead page's body was the last of the things on his mind, but he could smell it. It was a sickening metallic scent and he had to do what he could to keep his stomach down.
He glanced it with one eye to the knee that addressed him. "Thanks for the warning, but too late." His voice seemed to lurch as he made grab for his stomach and then fit the bars of the cage, losing his lunch right then and there.
He was not a fighter, not value hardened as so many here seemed to be. As he heard the yelling if the further away cells, he began to understand just hire many of them there were, and in doing so began to understand how grim things were. "Well damn...guess you lot might as well call me done..." nothing like a defeated knight to brighten the mood.

Nimriel: Cell Cluster 3
Nimriel could not help but cast daggers in the direction of the offensive voice. There was always one smart a**. Of course ones mouth never really saved them in times like this. Smarts, brains were needed, and lucky for her she had a decent head on her shoulders.
She made a slow, sweeping look around her cluster of cells. If they were all going to survive they were going to have to think of a plan and fast. She reached one hand out, passed the bars, trying to get their attentions. "Checking in on others is good, but it will not get us out of here. We need to focus, because I doubt that we will have to long before these sadistic games start."
She took up a seat on the floor, watching the others. "I know none of you here, but we need to know what skills we have among us and perhaps we can devise an escape plan."
Methone dragged her arms out, as she heard Monty's voice among the mixed of others.
"Methone here. Senshi." she added to the mass that was roll calling. "Don't worry boo. You look just as handsome in a cell as in a suit and desk..." She made kissing faces at him from her spot, "This king is mad as hell." Mad as in crazy or something like that.
"I don't remember anything he was spouting about, but to be fair, I just visited my planet for the first time. The memories aren't exactly rushing back." She lazily picked at the bars.
"I wouldn't bother escaping right away." She said a little bit louder, "the only thing you are gonna do is-" She snapped her fingers, "Blow your head off with these lovely little collars."

Sailor Hatsya // Corrupt Senshi of Swordplay - Cluster 3
The incessant back talking from a nearby cell made Hatsya’s eyes narrow and fist clench at her side. “Seriously?” She snapped back at the girl beside them “The only skill you need to know is if someone is able to throw a punch because from where I’m sitting none of us is going to be using magic any time soon.” What she added next was was more or less a whispered hissed as a warning “Not unless you want to join the blood splatter on the floor.”
Who did this girl think she was anyway? The order twit herself admitted she didn’t know anyone here, what made her think a mixed group of individuals would follow a nobody? No, what they needed was one of those stronger auras to step up. Hatsya might be new to this whole war between order and chaos but one thing was certain, you don’t get to be that strong without having some sort of experience fighting.
Benitoite! A name she knew all too well had been hollered not once but three times. Oh thank God...He’s here too. One less thing to worry about; how pissed he’d be if she didn’t show up with the energy she had been collecting the last few days.
Shaking her head, Hatsya turned her head back towards her friend. “Where is Leucite? You were suppose to be out patrolling with him weren’t you?” If that b*****d ditched Stibnite and ran away like a coward, it didn’t matter that he was a captain if they made it out of this alive she’d neuter his a**.
“LEUCITE!” She yelled before the teal and white haired woman could respond. “LEUCITE!” She yelled once more. Oh he better be here...

"Acrucis, I need you to answer me. How are you? Are you okay? If we get out of here we'll need you well and fit Acrucis'." He knew he shouldn't show how much he cared, his level of concern for her, but to hell with it all right now. They were stuck in a posistion like this where she was needed but beyond that she was a friend and one he held close, if only it needn't be so hidden in the shadows. Thinking of her magic and how vital it could become if they were to break out of here. She could be the difference between life and death, if someone got hurt and slowed the lot of them up...Acrucis' healing abilities could change that around so they weren't slowed down and captured - or worse. That was all of course if they were able to get out of here somehow.
Racking his fingers through his hair he let the hair holder come out so his ashen hair fell about his face and hung about his shoulders. he wanted to sleep, felt it was needed, but so was information and making connections. This was something they needed to overcome and to do that connections must be made and information shared and put out in the open for everyone.
Before he could say anything, again ask people for what specialties and skills they had, he heard another call his name. A voice which was familiar but newer to him and he paused as he felt himself sadden just a bit. This was too soon for something so...horrid to befall the Lieutenant. This would no doubt damage him mentally, and perhaps physically, and with so little time in this war how would he take it?
"Witherite." The name passed his lips before he continued on, his voice gaining in volume and strength. "You are alright, uninjured? I do hope so." He called out. It was best to ascertain the well being of those around him, in order to know if anyone would be a hindrance if and when they made an escape. Keeping track of injuries would be important to them all right now so he would find out how everyone he knew was doing, as well as anyone else who cared to toss out such information. "Don't worry Witherite - we'll get out of this." They had to try at least. if they died trying than they died at least it was fighting for their freedom and it wasn't a death suffered here in a cage doing nothing, or worse yet fighting for someones entertainment. No...he would court death and dance hand in hand with the dark master and in the end he would see if he left the dance floor alone or if he did so in deaths arms. This was a situation that was more uncertain than most, if not every, previous situation he'd been in.
Another voice than caught his ear, mentioning just what he'd been going to ask and had once already asked. "She is correct. We need to know who has what skills, if we get out of here we need to know who has what skills and magics. Also, we need to know of any injuries and if they worsen. If we're to make it out of here and back home we need to know who will need to be tended to by Acrucis' and in what order." He spoke up before he turned and pressed his back to the bars. Tilting his head back as he continued to speak.
"If we can get these collars off, somehow, than an officer can summon their communications crystal and shatter it. By doing so it'll send out a distress call to every member of the Negaverse and give the location. I don't know how they'll get to space but it will at least give our location and let them know that someone is still alive." Someone would have to be alive in order to summon the crystal and shatter it. This wasn't something he'd normally tell anyone but right now it was necessary and spilling some information was better than leaving the group in the blind.
Before he could get onto any skills he personally had he heard another voice, angry and loud, but one he knew as well. God damn, it seemed like a lot of people he knew had been kidnapped...this situation was just getting worse and worse. "Hatsya! Any injuries?"! He called out to the air before he continued. "Who else is with you?" Than he lowered his voice and spoke one more line.
"I'm skilled with medicinal plants...but being on another planet I don't know if it'll help." He also as a General had a weapon that he had to be skilled with, so as it went without saying he didn't mention it at all.

[Tantalus, cluster 3]
Tantalus slowly stirred awake in his cell, blinking and pressing an arm to his face. He felt dizzy, still, and a little sick, and the last thing he could distinctly remember was being attacked by strange automatonic creatures. He'd sent two running, but there had been too many...
He'd thought he was going to die. Apparently, what was actually going to happen was much worse and much more drawn-out.
The collar around his neck was heavy and uncomfortable, and he was almost overwhelmed by the sheer number of present energy signatures. Every kind - Mirror and Knight and Negaverse and Order Senshi.
The collar felt even worse when he saw what it did to the Page, and even though Tantalus had started to stand, he collapsed back to the ground in horror.
"My god," he said. There was a swirl of other voices around him, but he couldn't find it in him to pay them mind. It was too much - to think they would have to fight in some terrible arena to pay for whatever crimes this man thought they had committed.
[Mycenae, cluster 4]
Waking up locked in a cell was, in Mycenae's opinion, frankly the shittiest thing he could think of. He was stiff, achey, and pissed.
And so when the Mad King arrived, he was already halfway on his feet, ready to unleash that rage in the direction of their captor. Had the other Page not spoken up, not thrown herself forward, he probably would have, and he could practically feel his shillelagh at his fingers.
But apparently, that was unwise, and no matter how much he wanted to bash his captor's faces in, there was no point in winding up dead.
"Dewch yn ôl yma, yr ydych braster sach o ceiliogod llwfr! Ymladd fel dyn!" He shouted, pounding his fist on the cell door. "Ma bys bach fi yn fwy na esgys ti am goc!" He didn't bother to consider that the likelihood that a madman from a thousand years ago probably didn't speak Welsh. In his anger, he was far more fluent in his mother tongue than he was in English.
It was her. Half sobbing, half laughing, Chariklo shoved her own arms through to touch Ida's face, her hair, simply reassuring herself that this much, at least, was real.
"Given the circumstances, I'm okay. Just a bump on the head. And I haven't seen any of 'em. If they were here, they'd be piping up now and I can't hear 'em either."
She could hear other voices though. Most she didn't know, though one made her bristle with memory. That crazy, Silence Boy. Great. But he was forgotten as fresh shock rolled through her at a voice she knew very well.
"Tantalus?" she yelped out in shock, releasing Ida to try and locate the Dark Mirror. Though she couldn't see him, she knew she'd heard him. For just a moment. Then, she was distracted even from that when she saw the little page she'd noticed earlier curling up on himself. Shooting Ida an apologetic look, she edged over and reached out a hand through the bars to try and comfort the page somehow. Pat his shoulder, stroke his hair, something.
"Honey, no," she murmured, trying to inject as much soothing calm into her voice as she could. "Don't think like that. We'll figure something out."
Granted, she couldn't imagine what that something might be between the exploding collars, crazy King dude and those big robot-y looking monsters. But she couldn't let this kid talk about himself like he was already dead. There had to be a way.

Antares, Cluster 5
The crying nearby brought Antares out of her thoughts. She made her way to the front and saw a someone sobbing her eyes out. Unable to really help she reached out trying to offer comfort. "Hey... Hey stop crying." Her voice cracked but after a moment she tried again, her voice stronger. "It will be ok. You'll see. We did nothing wrong, I promise. Everything will be ok." Antares realised as she tried to comfort the female night that she wasn't alone in this hell... she wasn't alone and it sounded like others were more than willing to fight their way free as well. Antares might not be the best team player but she sure as hell would do what it took to protect others.
She crammed her face against the bars and did her best to see who was around her. A flash of a white uniform gave her a pause, how many others were in such a bright as glowing outfit. "Chaldene?" Could the male senshi really be here? "Chaldene?!?" Her voice got a little louder, and a bit more confused. Why would he have been brought here?
Waiting for a response she listened for the names of the others who had been sucked into this hell and while most were just names one stood out. Acrucis? "God no..." She muttered to herself. If both Chaldene AND Acrusis were here then... Could he be? "SHANG? Shang are you here?" Silence met her questing voice and she breathed a sigh of relief. At Least Shang wasn't caught in this web of death now all she had to do was protect Chaldene and Acrusis so they could go home to Shang and Maia.
"Acrusis? Acrusis can you hear me? Its Antares, Chaldene is over here with me." With those two at her back the young blond was beginning to believe there really was a way out of here.

Cadharas: Cell Cluster 1
He had actually fallen into abit if a fit of tears by the point Chariklo hado noticed him. Her gentle words flowed through the air to his ears, he looking up at her through those broken glasses, eyes hopeful. "Do you really think it us possible that we could all get out of here alive? That monster wants us all dead. He will kill us one by one of he needs to."
He knew that he was not the strongest here, nor the most skilled, if anything he was probably one of the easiest targets, if that could be considered a skill?
He heard the words of the others from afew blocks over, he calling it to them, just for roll call. "Cadharas here, and I am fast, that is about it. I can pick a lock, not that that really helps us in this case." He groaned deeply. Picking a lock would leave him without a head.

Nimriel: Cell Cluster 3
Finally someone agreed with her. By the time she was about ready to yell at the female the jeered her, she was comforted by the reassuring words of the male voice she heard in the distance. The only thing that set her on edge was how easily these others wrote her off. Yes she was a young page, but that did not mean she did not know her battle strategy.
She crossed her arms over her chest, she pulling a face for a time before speaking again. "Nimriel, page, I am skilled in most forms of martial arts as well as battle tactics. Though most of these skills have not been used in actual situations, I have studied battles in the past and have planned and executed theoretical enactments."
She was proud of her knowledge, even if she knew it didn't stand for much. She was a leader, or so she had been told many times. She was strong and needed to help bring these people together.
"I do not plan to be a blood stain anywhere in this castle or outside it. There has to be another way around these battles that he plans. He cannot make us fight eachother, so if we really against him that gives us at least something."

Lt. Stibnite - Block 3
Her head dropped down as far as the collar would let her. Stibnite was pretty sure she was about to be standing between two women in a verbal cat fight. "Both of you need to shut up. She snapped to no one before her ears caused her to turn. "Looks like the other member of this cell group is waking up."
Looking through the bars, Stibnite could see the senshi. Dark Mirror? "Welcome to hell. You might want to go back to sleep if you can." She grinned darkly before her attention went back to the women around her.
Her mouth stayed shut as she listened around her. How many voices could she make out? 20ish? Too many.
What she found foolish in way was people calling out what they were good at. "Well to tell the enemy you idiots! Not let's just let them march down here and blow us all up." Her words dripped with sarcasm.
"Nimriel, how long have you been doing this?" She sighed. "Because being a good warrior outside of powered form means very little if you can't stomach what you are up against." Mental note...get rid of the weak ones who find their host...disagreeable in appearance.

Sailor Hatsya // Senshi of Swordplay - Cluster 3
Knowing she was obligated to respond to her superior Hatsya could wait no longer for a reply from a captain that likely wasn’t even here. “Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine. I have Lieutenant Stibnite here with me.” Not that the corrupt expected him to recognize the name since, like herself, her friend was relatively new to the Negaverse. There was little need for her to voice what skills she possessed since Benitoite knew full well what she was capable of considering he had experienced it first hand the day she awoke at the fencing studio.
Eyeing the recently roused prisoner, the brunet shook her head in the dim light, then spoke in hushed tones only loud enough for those in her cluster to hear. “My arm will be fine, it’s just a little stiff.” Then again laying on stone for however long they had been here for never helped anyone achieve a restful sleep. “Nothing a few stretches won’t fix.”
Glancing over at the page, the Corrupt Senshi of Swordplay had an undeniable itch that begged to be scratched but knew this was not the place or time to heckle the, what she assumed to be, young girl. Lets just hope you’re as useful as you think you are

Super Sailor Acrucis // Senshi of Prayer - Cluster 6
“I can hear you Antares.” The senshi of prayer replied. Her heart clenched painfully in her chest in sorrow having heard the sweet voice of a dear friend. This was no place for the Senshi of Scorpions… this was no place for any of them.
“I’m fine Benitoite.” Acrucis responded with a shaky voice. As tears rolled down her face she held her breath to keep from sobbing out loud. Yes, she was fine but not by the definition of the word as opposed to how the word was described in the Italian Job; freaked out, insecure, neurotic, and emotional. “I-I can’t do anything so long as we have these - these things around our necks.” A hint of despair creeped into her voice. Shang…
Benitoite was putting too much faith in her; so long as they weren’t able to use magic, she was useless. Even if she could cast her prayers, there was no way of knowing if her magic could even reach the other cell clusters. “Without any supplies, we can’t even administer first aid…” For all the how-to’s, tips and tricks Xander had been teaching both her and Dessy, what good did that do them now?
Without clean cloth we can’t even dress wounds. And if someone sprains an ankle or Lord forbid breaks a bone we have no way to re-set or elevate the injured limb. Without sterile needles and thread, or even glue, how could they close any lacerations? “Aside from our uniforms we have nothing…” or perhaps that’s all they needed. Sapphire blue eyes peeked out from behind darkened lashes and rested on the tail ends of the bow which wrapped around her slender waist.
“Our sashes…” she whispered more so to herself than to anyone though it was loud enough for the two nearest her to hear. Long pieces of fabric that could be used to either clean or wrap a wound… couldn’t they?
Quickly rising to her feet, the Senshi of Prayer tugged on the bow, mindful to catch the small baggie of medicine she had been instructed to keep on her at all times as a ‘just in case the masquerade happened again’ per her doctors and friends orders. One continuous piece of fabric about 6” wide and approximately 7’ long “We do have something…ANTARES” The name was yelled with an amount of urgency. This could work.
If there was one thing Witherite had taught her, uniforms really offered nothing in terms of protection when fighting. There really was no need for them to wear so many layers. Plus coats could be folded and used as pillows.
There was a measure of relief that Chari was okay. It only lasted a moment though, the worry and fear creeping back to tighten her chest.
There were names being called out, people shouting... As Chariklo turned away, Ida's face darkened and she pulled her arms back through the bars to press her hands to her ears. There was screaming... it grated at her as she turned to press her back to the cage and sink down to sit on the floor.
Another cage... I can't do this again...
She should have gotten up. Should have inspected her cage, her collar, Chari's collar... Should have been reassuring others, taking down names, being positive and productive... Should have shown bravery and strength to inspire the Supers and Basics and Squires and Pages... but Ida felt no bravery.
All she felt was small. Trapped. Afraid.
I don't want to die.
Memories of the last time haunted her and for once, Ida couldn't bring herself to be strong, even faced with others who needed help. So she huddled on the floor even as someone called her name, her palms pressed to her ears to block out the other voices and her forehead pressed to her drawn up knees.
Posted: Thu Jul 23, 2015 3:26 am
Giving the page another pat, Chariklo did her best to smile bravely, though inwardly she winced at the snarking she could hear coming from one of the other cell clusters.
"We'll figure something out," she murmured and found herself back falling back to the reactions and words that had kept her moving in that dark future. "Don't count yourself out before we've had a chance to see what we're up against. You said you're fast? Then use that For for now, try to rest. We can't do a lot sitting in a cage besides argue, and the rest of these assholes seem to have that part covered."
Smiling once more, she brushed her fingers against the Page's cheek before creeping back towards Ida. The arguing and sarcasm only served to make her angry, to remind her of her disdain for the famous Order Meetings.
"Oh for the love of ********, someone shove a glove or belt or something into Ms. Tough, Sarcastic b***h's mouth and shut her the hell up," she snarled out, her voice taking on a tone that would have been very familiar to those who could recall that terrible future. This was someone who'd beheld Hell multiple times and wasn't willing to back down.
"It's not helpful, is only going to make everyone feel worse and really, honey? How does it hurt you if the rest of us would like to know who we're stuck in here with? That crazed ******** already told us we're here to fight to amuse him. He's hardly going to blow us all up for daring to talk and use our names! ******** idiot."
Closing her ears to whatever verbal backlash might be directed her way, Chariklo edged as close to Ida as the bars would allow and reached an arm through, trying to gather whatever comfort she could of her own from simple physical contact. Even if it was only being able to hook her fingertips into part of Ida's side bow.
With a sigh, she closed her eyes and did her best to take her own advice and rest.

The small, eerily glowing wisp almost went unnoticed as it manifested within the cavern. Within the cages, most of the prisoners slept, exhausted from shock and fright. The manifestation seemed to take on a clearer shape as it approached the place where the female page had fallen.
For just a moment, for anyone who might have been awake to notice, the glowing wisp seemed to take shape and solidify as a ghostly cat. Shaking it’s furry head sadly, the cat raised it’s face and a soft, melody escaped it. Then, it faded with it’s song, leaving the cavern once more in gloom.
Then, far too soon, guards arrived through the same hidden door, taking a handful of prisoners from their cells. After they’d left, the floor itself seemed to rumble as empty walls seemed to fade and pull back, allowing those left within the cells a view of an arena straight out of a gladiator movie. From their cages, they could see those who had been chosen herded into the center of the arena and given flimsy weapons. Almost directly across the arena sat the King and more of the odd guards. As those in the cells watched, the King raised an arm and then brought it down in a slicing motion.
The Games had begun.
