The roar wasn't exactly his idea of a kitten's meow. But he kept his normal pace, and appeared to be slightly scared. Just enough to make him look frightned, but not weak at all. He was a nice bounty to gather, and those people wouldn't take him away.

Being a few feet away from them, he thought it was proper to introduce himself.

"Excuse me?", he said, with a more or less shaky voice. "Do you know what is going on?"

Arkayid whipped around at the new comers, and their scent told him they were the same watchers before. Another earth-shaking roar, this one much closer...

"I'll tell you what. We move or we die. I don't care who the hell you are... You either run, or you die. And if you want to know what's its called... It's called an Onos. It used to be what was called an Elephant, but it ain't no Elephant now!! And damn straight I'm afraid, that thing could kill us without batting an eye, and its damned close too. I don't know about you, but I'm outta here five minutes ago, and you should probably come with me too... I just hoped it hasn't released its brood yet..." With that, Arkayid broke into a steady jog towards the town. The Onos would know better then trying to mess with the town, especially since there were enough skilled warriors and mages to kill it before it could even reach the gates.

He knew what he was talking about now. And, it was no good news. Those things had caused damage worth thousands to his properties, and he wasn't willing to become another of those numbers.

As soon as he was told to run, he obeyed. He was going to be a thousand times safer inside of town. Even when his head was seeked there.

He did as told, and Junai ran after Arkayid. He'd heard of an Onos, but have never actually seen them, no does he plan to. Luckily Junai didn't carry any weapons with him, so he was very lightweight and could run easily.

"Well, let's get moving!" Vrinn said.
Then he cast a spell to mkae everyone move faster. It wasn't as powerful the more people you cast it on, but anything could help. Nera started leading him by the hand again.
If it comes down to a fight, I don't think we win. I don't know the strength of these people, but just reading their emotions, they seem too afraid. With our number, if each were as powerful as Krishanna, maybe we could win, but with the current group here... We just can't win.
Let's worry about running, then. Maybe we can make it. And I told you...
Sorry. I forgot. You don't want her name brought up anymore.
We'll talk about this later. Vrinn accidentally said the last part aloud, but very quietly.

Freya, and her companions strode placidly along the worn trail. Despite the ruckus they maintained a steady pace.
.x.~Her hand was on the hilt of her sword, as she peered through the gloom. She draped her other arm across the this shoulders of a trembling youth. The girl was cloaked, with the hood up to hide her distinct features. Their other companion was cloaked as well, but she walked a few feet away. Freya glared at the woman, This woman; called Shaiya, had been selected to escort them across the whole bloody continent, and to complete Jadeira's 'training'. She snorted at this thought, Shaiya had hardley spoken throughout their entire journey, and she barely even looked at Jadeira, it was as though she could not stand to set eyes on who Freya had once overheard her refer to as 'the abomination.~.x.

"I can feel your eyes on me Freya..." The woman remarked smartly, gazing at the redhead quizzically. "It might do us good to increase our pace.... We are in danger here." Freya snorted contemptuously, muttering somthing about being able to defend herself. "Yes, but can you defend yourself, plus two others?" Shaiya questioned, quirking her brow.
Freya relented at that, and swung Jadeira onto her back with surprising ease. "You better keep up with me Shaiya, I won't wait!"
Shaiya picked up her skirts, knowing full well that Freya would leave her to rot happily. "Don't worry Freya, its you who should worry about keeping up with me!"

((You spelled ruckus wrong, but I fixed it for you. lol, neener.))-spoof

Ankhe had been having a bad day in Teir, first she had narrowly escaped from a mob that was after her. (Long story, you don't wanna know...) Then she'd been out in the forest heading out of the surrounding area of Teir to head to a branch of the M.I.N., now she was turned around and walking in bloody circles! She would have used her shadow teleportation technique but she wasn't very good with it yet and needed to know where she was and where she was going.

A few minutes of walking later and she encountered a familiar looking tree...

Freya's patience was running thin. The once silent elf would not stop running her damn mouth!About mid-day they all stopped to rest, and within minutes Shaiya had Jadeira spilling her heart out to her.
Freya trudged over to a moderatley dry spot of grass a couple feet away, and sat down to pout. really, it wasn't fair; she felt betrayed-Jadeira was spilling her guts to a woman that Freya was very close to declairing a mortal enemy!
She glanced over to the pair, and was embarrased to find Shaiya catching her gaze. "Somthing you wish to say mistress Shaiya?" She snapped irritabley.
"Indeed....I don't think we've started on a good foot...." The woman began. "I apologize for any misconceptions I may have caused in the past, I admit when we first began this journey I would have rather stayed back in Esperanza. I have also said things that I regret saying. But after observing you for the last couple of months I really feel I understand you more now, and I would like it if you both would accept my offer of friendship."
Jadeira of course immediatlet caved, wrapping her thin arms around Shaiya and kissing her cheek repeatedly. "That was beautiful Shai, of course we accept, I would love nothing better!"
Freya did not give in that easily. But after listening to Shaiya speak, and watching how devoted Jadeira was to her already she decided to give the elf a second chance. "Very Well..."

After passing the same tree an additional four times, Ankhe was ready to kill. Thus, she took out her frustration on the offending tree...and the ones surrounding it. Pieces of tree were falling left and right as she attacked the objects of her fury.

Sometime later, she sat indian-style with are arms crossed surveying her work. A black ear twitched on her head as she listened to the silence that filled the new clearing. Any animals that were around were rather...frightened of the odd creature that had just decimated a group of trees. Consequencially, none would come out. She summoned a black glob of shadow to her hand and began to play with it, blowing the occasional stray hair out of her face...

-crunch- She threw the glob at a pile of splinters and made them into smaller splinters. It dissapated a few seconds later, she was decidedly cranky still. Ankhe stood up and began to walk once again...

((How's about somebody hears the sound of falling trees. Or, I could make her run around some more. Or you could stumble upon the new 'clearing' and then Ankhe could come around in a circle again. Need I say more?))

As he continued to walk along the road he began to see debre all over the ground. He wondered to himself to why there was so many wood chips on the road.
Still walking further up the road he saw a strange clearing, as if titains had faught there. He decided to take a detour & saw in the near distance a young dark figure in the clearing.

Another tree...it was the saME BLOODY TREE. Ankhe had developed a rather harsh disliking for trees. They were always in places she didn't want them to be.

Her eye was twitching and so was one of her ears. (She's got cat ears btw.) She walked faster. A few moments later, the process repeated. She had been lost for a few hours now...she had yet to see any trail, only a few and they were either from deer or woodcutters. She thought about taking a woodcutter's trail once, but then decided against it as they usually lead deeper into the forest before they lead out.
