Moving, he squeezed himself to get between the girls raised legs, trying to wiggle between her. "Even if it was a paradise, I'd leave if it didn't feel like home. It wouldn't be the first time someone showed me a nice place I didn't want to be any part of. If you don't decide it's home, even it it's supposed to be your home planet, doesn't mean anything unless it feels that way."
Nudging her with his head, he looked up at her. "In the end, you can make anywhere your home, but only if you have the right company. A very special lady told me that."

Spreading her legs just slightly so his fluff could squeeze in, Delilah's hand reached over and she gently rubbed his ear. There was a soft smile growing on her face as she looked at him. When he spoke though, Delilah twisted, reached out and picked him up.
Shifting herself, she plopped him on her chest as she laid down on the couch and began to rub the side of his face. "You, and she, have very wise words then. Sometimes it's easy to mix up what you think you are supposed to feel and what you really feel." One hand started to run down his back. "But let's be honest, a warm bed helps."

He curled up, purring softly as he rested his head against her and closed his eyes. She was warm, her heartbeat still strong, still young, almost too loud to the one he was used to in his memories of long ago, and he felt himself drifting.
"It does." He muttered back to her.

Was it the soft purring of a warm body atop her or the full belly of a meal prepared by a talking cat? Whatever it was, Delilah felt herself begin to drift back into sleep as she pet Arthur.
Her hand began to slow and finally stopped all together, resting on his back as she slipped back into a peaceful nap.
A rare moment for a senshi of the white moon.
