She smiled coyly and replied, "I am admittedly some ways away from the forest I call home, I am uncertain as to my arrangements for this evening."

"I..." she started and blinked. No one in all her days had ever addressed her as such, one of the downsides of living in such a remote section of the forest. "I graciously accept your offer, kind sir and thank you for it," she managed finally finding the words.

He puffed up a bit, honored and pleased that she trusted him with a task that would make her happy. Careful not to jostle her off the path, he crept down, leaning as far as he could to reach the flower. The footing was still precarious, but he was light of hoof and had spent endless nights maneuvering around these rocky walls. Within a few moments, he returned with the flower for the lovely lady.

"Thank you, kind sir," she practically purred reaching for the flower. "You've done this poor maiden a great service." And this particular flower would suit her tastes and her collection perfectly. She practically beamed with giddiness.
