((they are within range for a normal sensor ability, since they've been watching, which doesn't really need a roll, and I'm assuming you just used a sensor spell (EDIT: nvm I don't think you did)
doesn't have to do with stats, unless they're a special character that can't be sensed with a normal sensor spell
which isn't the case here
you just cast it if you think someone is near)) When Reis reached within talking distance he waved with his good hand, "Yea, sorry! I was just trying to find something in this area and that big wolf attacked me.. I'm not use to being outside like this." He went over to his short-sword and retrieved it with his uninjured hand, avoiding the big wolf's corpse. Reis started to follow behind the girl, keeping his distance slightly, "Hey, thanks for the help, but may I ask why you're out here?" The Stranger #1 grinned while in hiding. The injured one was now out in the open. He hoped Stranger #2 was paying attention to what was unfolding.

Stranger #2 lifted his bow and nocked an arrow to his string, pulling it back and aiming for the boy. The distance was too far for someone to hear the draw-back of the bow.

((Yeah, didn't use one that turn.))
She listened to what he said, not seeming too interested before she gave her answer in a calm manner "I'd rather not say where I'm going. Normally wolfs travel in packs... and something about the way that wolf acted bothered me."
She decided that despite a bit of a mental drain it wasn't like she had taxed herself in dealing with the wolf and extended her senses. Her eyes widened the moment she was able to 'see' the two strangers. Her sensing ability might not see weapons, but she could recognize the posture. "Find some cover now!" Before she dove for the brush, trying to position a tree between herself and both strangers.

Reis agreed with that sentiment, he too noticed the big wolf had showed signs of intelligence, but he mentioned nothing in reply.
When the girl started shouting for cover and dove into a brush, Reis was bewildered and instinctively held his sword up looking all around him.

Breena's scan would reveal that the two Strangers were actually separated on either side of the two adventurers.
Stranger #1 felt Breena's reaching presence and cursed. Too cautious, that one.
But since the boy didn't seem to realize where the enemy was, Stranger #1 decided to stay hidden until the right moment.

((example of what the Instinct passive can do, Stranger #2 has to get a 5 to hit Reis in this ambush
this occurrence won't happen all the time though, it's random and DM-based
holy s**t LOL)) Stranger #2 cursed at himself for not shooting sooner. Now they were on alert for some reason. Regardless, he exhaled while taking aim at Reis and let loose the arrow, hitting it's mark. ________________________

(( Alright, since I admit, didn't think through the not knowing how magic stat would work for start of combat this is either a placeholder, or this will be standard 'blind cast' rule from here on. ))
Breena winced at seeing the shot, before she did the only thing she could think of and focused on a point between the two. Imagining just how blinding dozens of flashing lights in darkness would be, solidifying the image in her mind.
She then resorted to the same trick she used to grasp the sword, making the image in her mind visible to everyone, imagining that the boy would have his eyes shut in pain. (( If successful it's the accuracy effect to both of them, though how long they take to dispel is up to their magic for now I guess? ))

Reis cursed in pain, the blinding light didn't affect him as he was looking away while dragging himself to the treeline not too far away. He was now hidden from the enemies.

Stranger #1 saw the arrow land in it's target before he was immediately blinded by a flash of light. He winced and closed his eyes temporarily.

Stranger #2 got the full effect of the flash of light, for he was looking directly at his victim after the arrow landed. He cursed and closed his eyes, withdrawing from his position deeper into the forest (away from the conflict).

She glanced at Reis taking stock of his injuries from the wolf and this current fight, thinking for but a moment before yelling. "Keep to the brush and keep moving. Unless you want to die you need to get out of here."
She took a quick inventory of what her mental state was before deciding on a course of action. Yelling as loud as she could "Leonard, they're blind, get out here and get the other one." before she grabbed her knife and threw it with all her strength at the bow user (5dmg).

'Zekiel bounced and jostled as he drove his beat-up old truck down the bumpy dirt road in the heart of the forest miles away from civilization. Thankfully this was the only road so far, so surely he couldn't get lost on his way to his latest job. 'Zekial was a plumber and general handyman, and until the call he received the previous day, had never driven this way before. Some very old place deep in the woods needed some help with leaky faucets.
As he cruised, he admired the vast woods around him, they were pretty peaceful, despite all the stories and rumors he heard of the place. Like monsters, demons, and wizards with crazy powers. He laughed at the thought. He didnt believe in magic, or monsters, or demons. They were kids stories to delight and frighten youngsters. He grined at the thought of how he felt when he was a child, being told of people coming together and fighting with flashes of bright light...

Bright light like what sparked not fr into the woods. He screeched to a stop as he saw two, maybe three people move away from the light before it faded. What the hell? For the first time in many years his body wanted him to run, just hit the gas and go, but he gritted his teeth instead. His eyes were just playing tricks on him, sure there might be one or two people there, but there wasn't any magic involved. Still, it could have been a firework or something, trying to draw him near... He reached to the middle seat beside him and grabbed his pipe wrench and tested it's weight. Just in case of bandits.
"H-hello!? Everything okay over there?"

((I forgot about the mana, good thing you remembered, we need to test it further during all this)) Reis silently agreed with the girl, knowing he was in no condition to battle. He sheathed his short-sword and continued to retreat further away from the fight under the cover of leaves and bushes.
