 A rustling of sheets rose the roc from her thoughts with a startle and a soft yelp. She hadn't been expecting that! She turned her attention back to Vincent, eyeing him all over to check his injuries and mumbled to herself softly. What could be heard of it was merely things like telepathic boss and scaring the heat from my bones. She ran a finger gently through the subdued man's hair and looked at the gash. "That isn't so bad. Head wounds bleed like an artery." She moved to one of the cupboards above the counter tops and pulled out a bottle of something. Taking time to find a pestle and mortar, she quickly ground up the pill and placed the bottle back, grabbing another in it's place. She did this process once more until three different pills had been emptied and ground together. She added a bit of water and turned back to face the placid god. "I understand you hurt, but what would you prefer: the powder taste alone or flavored with something?"

 Vincent pouted slightly, like small child. "I want it to taste good." he whimpered pathetically. Vincent didn't even have the strength to be stubborn. He laid back down, and took deep breaths. **OOC: sorry for the short posts! I'm on my phone!**

 A warm smile was all that answered him as she turned back and went rummaging through the cabinets until she found what she was looking for. The infirmary at the Academy was amazing, both stocked like a pharmacy and hospital, meaning she could find whatever she needed. She grabbed the orange flavoring and added a small bit to the mix, judging by sight and not by taste. She's not stupid. She placed the flavoring back on the counter top and brought the mortar over with a child's medication measuring plunger. Though she didn't think him a child, no matter how childish he acted, she knew he didn't have the strength to move his mouth around a spoon. If he did he would be fighting to get out of bed. But hey! If this could work for kids it could work for him. She carefully measured out the dosage and a bit extra as the water and flavoring may have diluted it and placed the mortar on the bedside table. She brought the plunger to his lips and slowly administered the hydrocodone mixture to him, making sure he could swallow it at the pace she was giving it. When the plunger was empty she placed in in the mortar and focused on Vincent, her gaze settling on the gash again. She went back over to thew sink and fetched several items including a needle, some strong thread, a damp towel and a bowl of water. She brought the items back to the bed, taking to trips to make sure she placed everything in easy reach. What was to happen next was going to hurt, no matter how much she gave him as the medication takes a bit to get to the blood stream. She began to ramble as she cleaned the gash and began sowing it closed. "What you just took was a mixture of a mild muscle relaxant, a semi-strong pain killer, and a ginger extract to fight away any nausea that may occur. Some water and orange taste too, but that does nothing really." She paused her thoughts as she threaded the needle and knotted the end of what was to be the first stitch. "When I was hired, it was under the assumption that I would be teaching many students and be able to help them live and grow, like a parent but more fun!" Her Cheshire grin returned in full force as she worked, trying to make the movements quick and painless. "But as it stands, i have no students till next semester, and even then it's only a handful this year. So! My thoughts are! What if I did a few extra odd jobs here and there to keep me occupied? You surely remember the last time I was left alone. How could you not? Me and my students nearly blew up the classroom with someone's magic test!" She giggled loudly and continued on rambling about all the times Vincent had caught her and her students doing something stupid and probably dangerous, wherein she took the whole of the blame and accepted the dished out punishments. She was happy to recall all of her adventures and soon finished sewing the poor man together again. "How do you feel now?"((No worries, doll. I can more than handle that))

 Vincent huffed as he swallowed the medication slowly. He didn't mind the taste, really, he was just exhausted. The headmaster still couldn't see out of his eye, but he at least was relaxed and not freezing cold any more. When he saw the teacher with a needle, he flinched slightly, trying not to be noticeable. He winced and closed his eyes as she began to stitch up his gash, and bit the inside of his cheek. As strong as the head master may seem, he definitely hated this. Listening to her speak soothed him quite a bit, though.. and he sighed softly. When she mentioned extra jobs, he smiled a bit, and looked up at her. "And what would entertain you enough to tie you over, until next semester?" he murmured softly, and coughed a little. He knew he was short of staff this semester, and really didn't want to over work any one. But, she offered, and that was something he really couldn't turn down. "You certainly know how to take care of a whiny, annoying head master." he smiled, and closed his eyes again. The God tried his hardest to relax, since he was already so weak.

 She was almost going to offer him a glass of water when he coughed, but he seemed fine. A little weary and in need of something, but fine none the less. Her grin quickly shifted into a smirk as Vincent tried to joke. A laugh bubbled up from deep inside her and she couldn't help but let it loose, her chest shaking with her mirth. "Whiny and annoying? You? Please! You are no less trouble to care for as any of my Caravan kids! Some were worse! We had to hold a young boy down to reset his arm once! The only reason we went so far is that he fought back and nearly hurt someone! But no! Heavens no! You aren't hard to care for at all!"She calmed, enjoying the memory of all the kids she cared for as she felt again for any change in their air. Happy to find nothing had changed, she decided to take a seat on the bed beside him, taking care to not jostle him. She placed a hand on his upper arm and began rubbing calming patterns there with her thumb, both checking his temperature and falling back into her caravan habits. "Now, it's not a matter of what I would like to do, but what you need me to do. I can adapt. I know we're short staffed, and me being bored and blowing something up to spite someone would do no good. Just tell me what you need and I'll help."

 Vincent took a deep breath, and hummed as he exhaled. He had finally relaxed enough for his muscles to stop hurting, from the tension. He sighed, and looked up at her. "I'm leaving this completely up to you. Any help is appreciated, Urania." he murmured softly, and closed his eyes again. The head master scratched his head, before turning slightly to look at her again. "Can I leave, now?" he whined, impatiently, as he went into a coughing fit. Vincent hated the infirmary, even if it was nice and updated. He was cold, and tired.

 She frowned slightly at the coughing fit, eyeing him intently as he finally relaxed against her touch. As nice as the infirmary was, it never really brought a sense of security or ease to patients, much to the despair of one of the nurses, Faythee. Speaking of which... Where was that eternally happy spirit? Her medicinal skills were okay but a nurse should be on duty! At least and intern! She nearly slapped herself when she remembered that Faythee had gone away for a few days or so and would return soon. Meaning she was acting nurse to their poor head master. Another minute of thought and a near coughing fit from Vincent again steeled her resolve. She rose from the bed, checking clock with a soft smile. The medication should be kicking in by now, meaning travel would be an okay thing to do. She turned to Vincent, extending a hand out to him as if to pull him up. It was more to help him and stabilize him as he got up, but whatever. If it looked like she was gonna pull him up, she didn't really care. "Of course, sir. And on that note you have two options with two other options on that. A. I carry you on my back B. I walk beside you and help hold you up. The second set is: A. Your room B. My room. And don't give me that look, sir. You aren't going back to your office in this state of disarray; it isn't healthy."She paused, helping keep him upright as he slumped against her when he rose to a seated position at the edge of the bed. " And the reason I say my rooms is because they are large, comfortable, warm, and quiet. The best for healing."She paused again as he, again, slumped against her as she got him to stand. She put her arm around his waist for support. "I'm probably going to go bug Lucian once you're settled. It will only be for a short while, but since the nurses are gone for a bit, I guess you're stuck with me and the rest of the faculty!"

 Vincent groaned softly. "But, I have so much to do.." he murmured, nearly collapsing for exhaustion. "I don't care, as long as your bed is warm." he whimpered, starting to shiver. The head master was never this weak, even when he had the flu for nearly eight days. He was so exhausted, and could hardly keep his eyes open. But strangely enough, the pain had dulled a bit. He then remembered the medicine that he had literally just taken, not too long ago. Vincent sighed, and looked at her. "I want some juice." he muttered, stopping for a moment and coughing again. Vincent stumbled a bit, before standing up straight again, and making his way to the entrance of the infirmary

 She shook her head, chuckling under her breath. "Has anyone ever have the heart to tell you that being this stubborn can kill you?" She caught him as he stumbled at the infirmary door way, her arm still securely around his waist. She shook her head again and pulled him to her, turning so he flopped onto her back and pulling him up onto her back, supporting his legs and leaning forward to prevent him from falling. She then made her way down the halls past curious students and and teachers alike. {Exit}

Gus walked in to the infirmary quickly, and glanced around. He knew people had been here, since the medicine cabinets were open and the bed was unmade. And was that, a bloody rag? Gus sighed, and walked over to the bed, stripping the sheets, and placing new ones on it. He then checked the inventory, and saw every thing still in place. At least that was good. The intern cleaned up the mess, and began to mop the floors, before sitting down at the front desk, looking through student medical records.

Song in a Baltic dialect rang through the halls as a short woman skipped past everyone. She slid into the room, her voice hitting a high note and cutting off in an odd sounding vowel. The thud of a suitcase on the floor was the next noise, until she started singing again, this time, in a deeper pitch. Faythee moved about the room, not at all noticing the other in the room, checking cabinets and re making the messy bed. A large tri-color feather sat on the pillow, a clear sign that Urania had been there. If she left the bed undone, she had left with a high risk patient. She finished with a happy till before noticing the other a letting out a surprised shout.

 Gus jumped nearly three feet in the air, when hearing her shout. He dropped the paper work, and it slid across the freshly waxed floors. "I d-didn't mean to scare you. I'm sorry!" he stuttered, before jumping out of one of the chairs, and grabbing at the papers. "I'm Gus, um, August.. one of your student interns." he murmured softly, standing up with the stack of papers, and brushing himself off before reaching out to shake her hand.

Faythee grabbed her heart as if mocking having a heart attack and leaned against the bed she just made. She breathed for a bit, listening to her inter talk before hopping back up to calm the young man. She placed her hand out in a soothing gesture and when noticing his hand out to shake, she pulled him into a large hug. "Please don't apologize, doll! You did nothing wrong! Just wasn't expecting anyone and I'm a little ditzy!" She pulled back to let him breathe and quickly picked up the remaining papers and items, returning them to their folders. Rosie didn't like it when files were messed up, she learned that a while ago. She turned her head to the side as she worked, letting him hear her voice. "Nice to meet my new friend! I'm Faythee St- Well, call me Fae or Fay! My name is hard to pronounce and I'd rather not make you uncomfortable with mispronouncing it! I'm one of the two nurses her! I have no idea where my friend Ashy is, but Rosie is away and I'm here!" Once everything was back in order, she directed him to the spinning chair again and sat across from him with a big smile. "Word to the wise, leave the nicknames to me until you get that hang of things! Wouldn't wat Ashy or Rosie to flip on you fore those things!"

 Gus flinched when she hugged him, but he hugged back gently. He simply nodded as she explained who she was, and the whole nickname situation. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Fay." he smiled politely. Adults always intimidated him, but he couldn't quite figure out why. "Do you know who might have been here?" he murmured shyly

Unbeknownst to the other, she could detect his unease with her. It made her a little sad but she pushed through it, plucking the bright feather from over her ear to show the student. "That, my dear, would have to be the Astronomy teacher, Urania. She's the only being on record here that has tri-colored hair and feathers. It's kind of her calling card when she comes by unannounced!" She handed the large feather over to the student to inspect, seeing as he would have to get used to the feel of the feather to understand it's difference form any other avian being on campus. The color would change, but the size, weight, and shape wouldn't and that was the defining feature. Sure you could die any household feather three colors, but it was the heaviness of it that was unique to the roc. "Rukhs have special feathers. They're also fun loving and tend to go over the top. When you become a senior, you should take Astro with her. She doesn't really teach too much," She giggled secretively,"But she lets students have a free period. You will learn what you want, but she feels a student must want to learn. She's weird and tends to pop around campus at random. BUUUUTTTTT...." She went over to the sink, examining the bloody rags and needle there. She couldn't identify the blood right off and began to clean the rags and used instruments. "She was here with someone badly injured. She's got a bit of old fashioned healing knowledge." She held up the needle to the student to see the thread still hanging off the eye. "But she gets the job done when we aren't here, so it doesn't bother me at all. Not sure bout Ash and Rose though...
