Ploutonion is in D3!Alright, so Umber wasn't in for witty repartee at the moment. He could handle that. It wasn't like he was supposed to be in full snarking form anyway, given that he should have been terrified. It was hard, when this whole thing was sort of his triumphant moment, but the triumph would be ruined if he was too proud of himself.
He could hear voices calling for him, and it took his attention off Umber for a moment. Cor Caroli, and Glitnir - people he knew, who knew his name. Perfect.
Not paying attention to Umber was his downfall, literally. The Captain was quick, and his legs were out from under him before he could react. Graceful he was not, particularly, and so it was an effort to save himself from a concussion on the stone of the fountain. He definitely bruised his arms, and he didn't have to fake the fear quite so much anymore. Never mind that without glasses the world was a sloppy blur.
He wasn't entirely sure Umber cared about the order to bring him in alive, and he certainly didn't care about getting him corrupted unscathed.
"Umber, please -" he started, but he was underwater before he had time to finish the thought, and reaching desperately for the arm around his throat to try and pry it away.

Glitnir and Cor Caroli are in D3!When Cor Caroli got closer to the fountain, he could see clearer what was going on. That Captain was trying to drown Ploutonion! All of the latent aggressive instincts in him emerged, and with a roar, he charged the Captain, determined to pull him off and perhaps shove him into the water for his troubles. "Get your dirty hands off of him! He's mine!" He lunged for Umber to grab him and pull him off, not caring if that would result in him getting clocked in the face or worse. Yes, Ploutonion was his, in a distant, twisted, strange sense. He would happily tell the Squire all about it after he got him out of here (and congratulate him on the upgrade while he was at it). "Wait! Wait! You idiot!" Glitnir panted and puffed his way up to the fountain, only to find that Cor Caroli had not only beaten him to it, but was trying to go for the Captain currently attacking Ploutonion. The strength mismatch would definitely come into play and soon, even with the other Knights on standby (one he recognized as Hyperborea; he would have to congratulate her on making it to Squire sometime). He had to act fast. He pressed on one side of his scale to activate his magic and channeled it, hoping to give Cor Caroli a few extra seconds to realize he was going to get his a** kicked (and the other Knights time to do whatever they wanted to do). Quote: Magic: When weight is applied to one side of the scale (most likely Glitnir pushing on it with his finger), all enemies within 8 feet feel their major sins come to the forefront of their minds. If the target doesn't consider themselves to have sinned, they just gain a strong feeling in their minds that they have done something wrong and be unable to identify what it is (they might as well have left the oven on before they left the house). The air seems to grow "heavy" to them, and a feeling of pressure slows them down. The time pool for this magic is 35 seconds. Strickenized Attacked by Cor Caroli, Magicked by Glitnir!

Amphitrite is in D4 with: Ganymede, Valhalla, Benitoite, and Cinnabar!
One response angry: brainwashing, demanding to see Laurelite. The other, pleading: we don't want to hurt you. Amphitrite thought to herself that she'd already been hurt, and that the only thing she'd done was open her eyes -- but it was all rendered redundant when Cinnabar made a move, and just as quickly, the knight called forth this thunderbird to counter her move.
The corrupt senshi took a step forward, her eyes wide - although just as quickly, she drew a step back again, hanging closer to Benitoite now. "Cinnabar!" It wasn't that she was afraid, and she wanted to help her - but the starseed she had tucked away wasn't enough to turn any tides against that thing. Especially since she was really only built for close range combat. With the two of them hanging so close together --
Unless. She scowled as she leaned down, picking up a decent sized rock to fling at the knight. Even if it was just a distraction, it was still better than doing nothing, was it?
Mont Blonc is at D5, moving to C4!
The surge of lightning didn't exactly go unnoticed. Mont Blonc had been all determined to make right for Ploutonion, but the gathering of power sources and the light show forced him to rethink his headstrong plan. If the battle at the gym had taught him anything, it was being a hero and being an idiot were two different things. He couldn't afford to mess this one up like he had that time with the guy in tattoos.

Oberon is in B4
This was so not happening. There was a General Queen around somewhere and they were trying to corrupt a knight…?? And then suddenly there were senshi and knights and negaverse officers everywhere and Oberon was suddenly not thinking this was a very good idea.
Something was happening closer to the fountain, but he couldn’t quite see. There were too many people running around and fighting. There was a Negaverse officer nearby, and while he hoped to be able to sneak by him, he doubted he’d be able to hide his signature.

LEUCITE IS IN C4Leucite spotted two targets within pretty close proximity to him, and being the overachiever that he was, he decided that it was a fair enough fight to try an take two on one. Sure, why the hell not. Summoning his weapon, he charged Mont Blonc without a word, swinging his banner in a wide arc in an attempt to hook it around the male's torso and swing him toward the other male a bit of a ways off. Once the swing completed, he desummoned his weapon, then teleported. Leucite is teleporting to B4As much as it winded him, he wanted the benefit of the speed. Plus it was a good handicap or the fight. Maybe he was a tad over arrogant. Turning to look over his shoulder he shouted at the first male. "Oi, you might want to come help your friend." Before turning and bull rushing Oberon, shoulder down in an attempt to full body tackle the smaller male. Guine He's 6'2" just to give you a size compare.

Jet is in B6!
“Here to help bring in a knight, senshi?” Jet sneered as he stepped closer to the senshi girl who seemed at a loss of what to do. She was Dark Mirror, he noted, but that made no difference to him. They were all traitors one way or another. They did not understand just what they were throwing away when they chose to side with the White Moon time and time again.
“Don’t be shy,” the lieutenant grinned, his boyish face twisting into something not so pleasant. He’d drawn his two knives from subspace the moment he’d received the General Queen’s command, and he was more than happy to try and please her. What better way to make her happy than to bring down another needless senshi. “What’s your name? We can work together. You would like that, wouldn’t you? I'll make sure no one hurts you.” DaisyMilk I hope you don't mind! <3

Cinnabar laughed at the venom spat at her by the blonde. It had no bite to it, only amusement. She had the upper hand here and she knew it. Especially because, by the look on their faces, neither Valhalla nor Ganymede had expected her to go for energy draining right off the bat. Their energy flowed into her hands with ease, the one on the right twice as big as the one on the left. It was an impressive haul, for only coming from two people. Had she been doing it for quota, she’d have been gleeful. This is what came with the higher ranks. More power than she’d ever felt, and it was beautiful.
“The General-Queen doesn’t need to dirty her hands with you two. I’m more than enough.” She chimed in after Benitoite spoke, giving him another side long look. Why wasn’t he attacking them? It was odd that he’d just… stand there. Was he expecting for her to do all the work, or was he simply unable to fight while his mouth was flapping? If he didn’t do something soon, she might have a word with him afterwards… though ‘have a word’ was probably not the proper description of what she’d do.
Valhalla shouted and the General pulled her attention back to her prey, catching something pale and transparent flow from whatever it was he had his hand around. Red eyes widened as the form grew into a great bird and took to the skies, her head tilting back as she tracked it. The half youma tensed, expecting something from it and she quickly stuffed both balls of energy into her mouth to free her hands. She was not disappointed… lightning, of all things, leaped from the beast to hit her square on and she roared in pain as it arced through her to the ground. Eyes wide and staring, she felt every muscle on her body stiffen up in painful reaction for a critical minute and then ache for a moment after the electricity stopped. She gasped in air as she shook herself all over, swallowing the combined energy balls for a much needed boost after that attack. It negated much of the damage, but the distraction was definite. The General shook herself all over to clear her vision, an inhuman, very feline snarl of range rolling from her throat.Cinnabar is in D4, getting zapped while fighting Ganymede and Valhalla with Amphitrite and Benitoite!

Umber is still in D3 playing watersports with Plou and Cor, Glitnir"You don't get to beg, Squire," he snarled quietly. He fought - Umber let him. The goal was incapacitation for corruption purposes. Reduce Ploutonion to dead weight and there was no breath in body to fight the influx of chaos. He could learn, one way or another, to embrace the chaos that he considered so readily before.
The battlecry loosed by the senshi projected easily that the man was stricken with rage. Half-turning allowed him a visual while the boy approached, and just as hands reached to claw Umber off of the squire, the captain allowed himself to be seized. With both hands of his enemy indisposed, Umber summoned weapons to hand to attempt an uppercut to the stomach. Your friends play dense, Ploutonion. Yet you would choose them over the Negaverse. A fleeting thought of trashing this senshi to prove his point came to mind; it amounted to nothing more than a distraction when he was delivered express orders against this squire. The senshi was of no value to the mission - even if his largely emotional reaction to the situation offered a potential bargaining chip for Ploutonion's life.
But, he considered, not everyone may be so easily manipulable as the blonde super that faced him for this man.
Immobilizing Ploutonion is of greater importance, he reminded himself, but a deepening suspicion that he had wronged in some way overrode that thought. It gave him cause to falter, to reconsider if his actions taken were the proper ones. Was he impeding the mission by not taking advantage of this senshi's abject rage? No. Focus. If you hindered the mission, you would be told such by someone of higher rank. Laurelite is not personally calling you out for failure. This feeling is... Displaced. It's extraneous.
Ignore it.
And while he tried, that pervasive sense of guilt was not so easily shaken.Sami-Fire umber wants to straddle plou forever Orangeish Sherbert whisler's magic would be perfect here <3

Benitoite is in D4, with like too many peoples.Watching what happened to Cinnabar he knew he couldn't stand here any longer, not when she was being attacked, this wouldn't look good for him if he continued on. He really disliked it being these two he had run into. These two who knew his stance on things, though one didn't trust him much if at all. "Cinnabar, I got them." And he did. He went right for Valhalla, hoping to tackle him and throw him off balance. But it was as he sent himself toward the brunette that he hoped the other would understand - oh how he hoped.
Throwing a punch, though he put no force behind it, he shifted his gaze to the blond haired senshi. Mouthing for her to run. He hoped she'd run and not blow his cover or something equally stupid. He'd rather get them elsewhere and keep them from sight, he didn't know what was going on or why a General Queen was here, he doubted it was for something good.
In his other hand his weapon appeared, best to let others think he was being serious and meant business.

Methone is moving from F3 to E3, towards the action!
Methone felt the aura's jumping all over, eternals, pure. Squires, knights, pages.
Her feet fell faster on the park ground. She was worried that she would find someone she knew. She was hoping not so much.
She could hear shouts now, closer and closer. figures ahead. A senshi, A squire, a Captain and another.....Squire?

Mont Blonc is catapulted from C4 to B4! With: Leucite and Oberon.Mont Blonc really wasn't sure where it all went wrong. Again. He was trying to listen and keep aware of his surroundings as he went, but all of a sudden he felt a power signature creep up on him and then --
-- and then he was airbourne?! He managed a rather undignified yelp of surprise, just managing to fling his hands up over his face before he crash landed, tumbling the last few feet and landing sprawled on his back with a groan. That was going to leave a mark; but on the bright side, at least he hadn't hit pavement.
There was no chance to recover before a negaverse officer - his attacker, probably - went ahead and charged at what seemed to be a much younger boy. Mont Blonc paled and launched himself to his feet in a flurry of dirt and grass, springing towards the captain to try and tackle him before he could even reach his intended target.
Because, you know. The whole tackling thing worked so great with Umber. "Kid, watch out!!"

Namaka is in B6 with Jet (o noez!)
The appearance of a sneering lieutenant should have been expected. Silently, Namaka cursed herself for not realizing that she'd end up encountering someone unfriendly. She stayed silent as he summoned a pair of knives, though inside, she felt a familiar tensing. A kind of wild animal awareness that brought up too many memories of the times when her mother had looked at her like that, when her mother had had that particular shading to her voice...
No, this boy was not here to be her friend. As she tried to guess at his skill with those knives, she was unobtrusively glancing around. She wasn't entirely sure her magic would be useful, though it was better than nothing. And she was reasonably certain that the newest officers couldn't teleport. So if he were as new as he felt, maybe she could manage to run and dodge.
"Bringing in a knight?" she said in a soft, almost respectful tone while her brain whirred away. "Well, that would explain all the auras then."
It was a struggle to keep her face so neutral when he asked for her name and offered to keep her from getting hurt. Right. Like she was going to believe that one.
"If it's all the same to you, I'd rather not give you my name. And really," she sighed, "it's a little insulting that you think I'm lolo enough to believe you'll protect me."
There was no help for it, if she just tried to run, he'd give immediate chase. But maybe her magic would startle him enough to give her a few precious seconds.
She'd make sure to aim her fist for that sneering face and hope she damaged him.
"Dentricle Dam..."
---------------------------------
Haumea is is E3 creeping on Methone
An order senshi was nearby. Pausing in his stride, Haumea decided that if there was one that close to him, it couldn't hurt to play a little. It might not be helping to herd a knight, but hey. Keeping the knight's potential backup at bay was still a valuable contribution.
Homing in on the aura he'd felt, he gave a tiny, wolfish grin when he caught sight of the female. About as powerful as he was and she had the look of someone who had a reasonable idea of what they were doing. He wouldn't be able to intimidate her, but confuse and lure her? That he could do!
Stepping out so he'd be a bit more visible, he smiled easily and idly tossed a few stray 'locs back over his shoulder.
"Well, hello there. What's the rush, pretty girl?"Guine Not at all! ♥ Lolo = Hawaiian for crazy/stupid Dentricle Dam = This attack can be cast twice times per battle and last for approximately 15 seconds. The radius is confined strictly to Namaka as it gives her skin a magical overlay that resembles the tooth-like roughness of a shark's skin. Great for close, hand-to-hand combat. Terrible for anything long range. Effects would be like having sandpaper punched or kicked into one's body and scraped against the skin. Somewhat painful, but not debilitating.

Ganymede is in D4 with Valhalla, Amphitrite, Cinnabar, and Benitoite!Ganymede didn't care that they were outnumbered. She didn't care that calling a General-Queen into the mix would be a bad idea. She wanted to know who'd sent out the order. She needed to know who they were up against. Laurelite or Apatite, she held hatred for them both.
“I want her to come,” she spat at Benitoite, “so that I can choke the life out of her!”
The draining stopped as suddenly as it began as Valhalla released his summon. Ganymede gave a sigh of relief. She was swaying on her feet a bit as she watched Valkyrie go about her business.
“Good bird,” she said.
Now it was decision making time. Should she go for Amphitrite and hope to make amends, maybe convince her that this new place of hers in the Negaverse was no good for her? Should she go for Benitoite, currently unscathed, and take him down a peg or two? Or should she go for Cinnabar, already weakened and disoriented from Valkyrie's attack?
The choice was easy. She didn't get in the way when Benitoite came for Valhalla, nor did she pay any attention to the way he mouthed for her to run. Ganymede took aim at Cinnabar and said, “Searing Passion!”
In the end, Cinnabar had been one of her captors and Ganymede wanted revenge.Quote: Searing PassionThe enemy's focus temporarily narrows upon a desire that manifests itself in a physical sensation, a heating of the body that grows progressively stronger throughout the duration of the attack, until the target feels as if they are burning up from the inside. They're likely to feel weak and disoriented once the attack has burned itself out. The attack itself reaches its peak after about 45 seconds.

Aquamarine is in C2 with Harmonia!Aquamarine snorted at the girl's show of confidence. It hardly seemed believable, though he supposed he could give her some credit for trying. To him, she looked to be the young and naïve sort, perhaps the type for platitudes and pleas for mercy. Aquamarine wasn't the type to care. This was war, he was told. There was no room for platitudes and mercy in war.
He was surprised then when she made her move and swung a fist toward his face. Aquamarine dodged out of the way at the last second, bringing his toy sword up to block the fist aimed at his jaw. He wished, as he always did, for a legitimate weapon. How was he supposed to do anything with what he had?
“If you want to go through, then go through,” Aquamarine snarled at her, taking a step back and placing himself back between her and the battle raging behind him. “You won't be of any help against a General-Queen. This battle was over before it even began.”

Valhalla is in grid D4 with Ganymede, Amphitrite, Cinnabar, and Benitoite! Valhalla let out a sigh of relief as Valkyrie hit her mark and was able to stop the female General from drawing even more of his and Ganymede’s energy. This was a bad way to start, but he was still hoping that they were drawing some of the more powerful opponents away from Ploutonion so he could be rescued.
But it was not going to be so easy for them. Valhalla didn’t notice the rock that was hurled his way until it hit the side of his head, catching him off guard and stumbling in surprise. It hit his helmet of course, but he could still feel the impact. He didn’t see who threw it, but it was enough for him to miss Benitoite charging him. He stumbled as he was hit and fell to the ground, his vision still blurred from the rock to his head. “W-what--?!” he sputtered and stared at Benitoite with confusion.
Valkyrie was having none of that, and let out a screech as she turned to soar towards the offending Negaverse officer, her wings harboring an electrical charge that jumped in tiny arches from one feather to another. “Wait, stop!” Valhalla called to her, gripping tightly to his pocketwatch, even as Benitoite drew forth his weapon. As commanded, she did not strike Benitoite with her lightning, but let out an angry shriek to let Valhalla know she did not approve.
