In case you're unfamiliar with D20 Modern, the starting classes are based on the six stats. Each class has a different emphasis and has a 10 level progression, but the main aim is to get an advanced class, which is sort of like a prestige class. I'll post the advanced classes when I get a chance to. The starter classes are as follows:
The Strong Hero - Strength - Focuses on melee combat and breaking objects. The only class that starts with a BaB.
The Fast Hero - Dexterity - Focuses on dodging and running more than offence, though gunplay is a definite possibility.
The Tough Hero - Constitution - Focuses on absorbing damage. Can actually get energy/damage resistance as part of the features.
The Smart Hero - Intelligence - Skill monkey. Gets odd abilities such as Plan or Linguistics.
The Dedicated Hero - Wisdom - Good for making your character a medic or an investigator.
The Charismatic Hero - Charisma - Focuses on being the face of the party. Usually ends up with the highest reputation bonus or earns contacts.

I've made a dropbox account for us to share documents, etc.
The email address is unitednerdclans@gmx.com and the password is TheUNC01 (case sensitive, obviously).
If you have any problems with it, let me know. Also, GMX seems to be an absurdly paranoid email provider, so just leave the email address to me, heh.
I have, so far, uploaded the D20 Modern core rulebook and the D20 Future book. Feel free to read as much as you want from either, but be aware, that any movement rules I am going to abstract. I'll apply range modifiers as I feel appropriate and settle things like races as the fastest one generally wins or gets a bonus or something.
You may be cyber, but must be able to afford it. Related to this, I'll mention that the wealth system is a little unwieldy, so I'll monitor it a little. I trust you guys not to abuse it, but in my last D20 game, a friend abused how it worked by saying he had infinite ammo, since the game allowed him to do so. I pointed out he'd spent every penny he had and therefore now had 0 wealth and didn't think to buy a house or storage facility for his ammo. He argued that he bought his ammo before buying anything that would have reduced his wealth. Rule 0 won in the end. sweatdrop

I tend to use more of a requisition system in d20 modern/future than the wealth system they use.
What about spacecraft? Will the party only have a one for the entire crew or will they be able to have personal ones for dogfights and such?

Depends on what you want from the campaign. I have two ideas of how to begin, which is either you start the game as rookie crew members of a starship or you start planetside and either earn enough to buy a starship or earn enough respect and admiration to be given one.
None of these are static as well, so it completely depends on what you want/what you do in the campaign.
The ship I have in mind has gun emplacements, a hangar bay and boarding pods, so you can either man a turret from the ship, join a fighter wing, invade an enemy ship on foot or hang back and fight enemy boarders.
