Playing doctorThat earned an amused snort. Questions started rolling in, and Zeke couldn't help a leer at the 'good ranking' comment. "Ezekiel Young, twenty three, and no complaints thus far." The grin slipped just a little at the mention of major injuries, and he flicked his gaze down to his very obviously bandaged arm before lifting pale eyes back to Wyatt. As if it wasn't obvious. "Oh, you know. Third degree burns, nothing to serious." Even high, the sarcasm carried.

Trust the medicCain. The fact that Zeke knew his name was a slight shock to the life, but then again he had no doubt the two men had pilfered his notebook the night they meet. Idiots. But they had helped, that thought softened the teen just a touch. Looking over the man he sighed, "Zeke." In another situation, with someone else, that loop-sided smile might have been admired. But as it was the look only met blank, unamused features. A pull at latex and the gloves were secure enough that Cain started to the bed. "Yes," He said slowly and with a small smirk, approaching the side of the bed and looking over the bandages first. They clearly needed changed but otherwise there wasn't anything alarming to be noted about them, which was good. It was kind of funny thinking about it, since, either Zeke or Ever had been the one to wrap his foot while he was asleep. At the question he meet pale eyes, walking back to bring over his tray of supplies and sit them promptly on Zeke's lap since he was awake, and no doubt to be annoying, "it's fine..." A moment to pause as he started to unwrap the other and the lifer asked casually as possible, trying not to look up into the handsomer mans face as he touched his body delicately to not hurt him further, "were you the one that wrapped it then?"

delivery girl"No-ope~" Hattie chuckled, grinning. "Sexy nurse outfit or bust." She wasn't about to let this go; she wanted to see Zeke wear a sexy nurse outfit for her, as much as she wanted to wear one for him. Which was to say, an awful lot. Somedays she recognized how terrible of a person she was, and today was probably not one of them.
"Ahh, that explains a lot." She lied with a sage nod, allowing him to move her arm and replace it with his own. In return she cuddled in close, draping an arm and a leg over him for lazy comfort. Her big blue eyes reopened as she felt him move, and she glanced up at him and his hazy eyes. "A dream, huh? What kind of dream? Should I cover my ears for my delicate sensibilities?"

Trust the medicBarely pilfered. Zeke had peeked in the front cover for all of a minute, and for the sole purpose of seeking out the young man's name. His name was tossed back at him with a sigh, and that only seemed to amuse Zeke all the more. He was chuckling in earnest as Cain headed towards the bed. In the time it took for the smaller man to fetch the tray of supplies Zeke pushed himself up into a relative facsimile of a sitting position with a wince and a bitten back curse. He held his breath for a moment, waiting for the ache to fade, then let it all go in a slow, controlled way as Cain set the tray of supplies on his lap. Even stuck in the drug induced haze of the painkillers, Zeke's attention lingered on the tray, checking over the supplies critically before looking up again as gentle hands started unwrapping the bandages around his chest. He lifted his arms a bit to make it easier, watching Cain as he worked. At the question the smile returned. "Mmmhmm. Hopefully it kept the swelling down long enough for your weapon to take care of it." Pale eyes lingered on Cain's face, watching his expression. In general, but he also wanted to see what the smaller man thought of the burns.

Delivery girl"Bet I could rock a pair of thigh-highs," he murmured, lips brushing against her hair. He'd never considered cross-dressing, never had any reason to ever consider it, until now. Hazy eyes were starting to lose a battle with gravity. They were heavy as Harley looked up at him. "Not that kind of dream." If it was, he wouldn't have mentioned it. As much as he wanted to cross that line with her, he was being shockingly patient about the whole thing. Probably because he wasn't sitting on mountains of unresolved pent up sexual frustrations. "It was very king Arthur's court, ish." He frowned. "Don't remember all of it, and what I do remember is kinda jumbled. It didn't make a whole lot of sense, but it was like we had these lives, but we gave them up for some reason." He probably wasn't making a whole lot of sense, but he wasn't sure how to explain it better. "Not just the lives, but the memories of those lives. and then slowly those memories came back." Resting his chin on the top of her head, he shifted his arm beneath her head so he could scratch at his own cheek. "I think..." The frown deepened. "I think you and I were together."

Playing Doctor"Burns? Ouch," Wyatt winced. The injuries themselves were a bit ironic - Zeke visited Wyatt as he recovered from being frozen, and the roles were reversed in burn recovery. "How'd ya manage that one? Set your bed on fire from a lit cigarette in your drunken sleep with an open bottle of moonshine? Or from the attack the other night?" There was perhaps too much specificity to that story - but Wyatt will attest that it only happened to him once.

Playing doctorIf Zeke had been a little more alert, and a little less bleary, that explanation of things would heave earned him a rather pointed grin and the upward quick of curious brows. As it was, the intermediate did manage the grin, but instead any probing questions he gave his head a small shake. "Yeah, the latter." He picked idly at the outermost bandages on his left hand. the smile dimmed a bit, expression taking on a slightly more serious air. "One of the green-eyed ******** had a runic torch." He wasn't positive, but he had the vague recollection of Ever trying to bash the infected hunter's face in. At the time it hadn't seemed terribly important. At the time nothing but the pain had seemed terribly important.

delivery girl"God, yes you would. And heels. Like the four inch stripper shoes." Hattie let out a very low wolf whistle, because they were in the infirmary and being loud would be rude.
"Oh yeah?" She hummed. King Arthur's court huh? Maybe he was reading one too many medieval books? As he told her about it, it seemed a little more than very strange; giving up lives and the memories of said lives? so weird. Finally though, he got to what seemed to be the meat of it all: in his dream, it seemed, they were together.
"…Like, together together?" Hattie repeated, muffled a little bit as he squished her in an effort to scratch his own cheek.

Delivery girlHe gave an affirming hum, lowing his hand again after realizing he'd been squashing her a little against his shoulder. "Sure seemed that way. Didn't see much more than glimpses, but there was a lot of you and me in this little village." He left out the part about losing an eye, the parts with Ever. He left out the mirror, and the attacks on the castle. Those parts weren't important in this moment. Stroking fingers down her shoulder, he yawned, shifting his head so his cheek was resting against her hair, instead of his chin.

Playing Doctor"Jesus," he was a bit taken aback. When the alarm went off, Wyatt had stayed put, armed and ready, but a safe distance from all the action and chaos. Now he was starting to feel a bit guilty about that. As if all the rest of the destruction wasn't enough. "Sorry about that bud," he tossed aside the clipboard onto the counter. "At least you get some drugs to kill the pain and get a little high?" He tried to brighten the mood. "How long do they think you'll be in here for? It'd be nice to see ya back on your feet soon." He paused. "Or on your knees, too."

delivery girl"Really? That's…kinda cool." Harley hummed, feeling a little strange at the idea, but also kind of not. There was a lot of questions on the tip of her tongue, but she wasn't entirely sure where to start. "…Like on our own free will, where we were no doubt amazingly awesome, or in an arranged thing like in books and stuff?" That seemed like a good way to start, she supposed. What did you say when someone brought something like that up?

Playing doctor"The drugs are pretty great," he admitted, the grin returning in full. Of course, the painkillers would probably be cold comfort when the bandages came off. There would be scars, somewhere in his hazy mind he knew that, but it was hard to care just then. Later he'd care. Probably. He had to think about Wyatt's question, count back how many days he'd already been in the infirmary. "Couple more, maybe." Had he been there one, or two? It was hard to remember. He drifted in and out randomly throughout the days and nights, so it made keeping track of time all the more difficult. There was a beat, in which it might have seemed the intermediate had missed that provocative comment, then he was leering up at the cowboy again with a wolfish grin. "And who say's it'd be me on my knees?" Not that he was opposed to the idea, really. Zeke liked giving head as much as receiving it. He had thing for the sort of control a person could wield when they had another person at their tender mercy.

Delivery girl"S'far as I could tell." He frowned, trying to drag up details from the murky depths of his mind, but either they didn't exist, or they were buried too deeply by the heavy haze of the pain killers. "I was a blacksmith, or was going to be." That he did remember. "Seemed happy together, arranged or not." He didn't think it had been arranged, though. They'd been peasants in a small village, betrothals usually took place between nobles. There was a part of him, small and easily looked over, that suggested perhaps he shouldn't have been telling her any of this. He and the person in the dream had not been the same person, they had been similar, but not the same. What that Ezekiel had given, this Zeke didn't think he was capable of. Not at that level, at least. He remembered though, that fragments of feelings, the snippets of memories and longing. They were in his head, even if he wasn't sure what to do with them.

Wyatt grinned back once Zeke started to smile - goal accomplished at lightening the mood, even if just a bit. He didn't do well with serious subjects. They made him uncomfortable, so a shift back into innuendo-laced flirty territory was a welcome return to form. "I got no problem going below deck, but ya can't expect to lead the ship every time, can ya?" he cocked a brow. "It ain't fun unless you mix things up. Well, that's not true. With me, it's always fun." He gave a little wink as he kicked up his feet onto Zeke's bed and started to play a little footsie with Zeke's feet. "So your burns...," he started. "Ya all good down there?" Eye shifted to a crotch.

Playing doctor"I can try." It came easily, confidently. Zeke certainly preferred topping when it came to being with other men. The single exception to the rule had been Ever, and it had taken a while, and a wager, for the mechanics to shift, even temporarily. Of course that had opened the man up to everything he'd been missing on the receiving end. It made him a little more curious, a little less unmoved on his usual preferences. A foot nudged his own, and he nudged it right back, thoughtless. At the question he glanced down at his own body, as if he could see through the thin sheet and scrub bottoms that covered his lower body. "Thankfully." There was very slight burning along his left hip, but he didn't even feel that anymore. It had probably already healed. "Ever and Horace put the flames out before they could spread very far. Noticing where Wyatt's gaze had settled, Zeke gave a small, amused huff, attempted to roll his hips, but it wasn't anywhere near as coordinated as he normally operated.
