When he arrived, he dismounted Moon and made sure to help Mildred dismount safely before he began the long climb upward. He reached the summit of this particular mountain with ease, and when he found the mantle, covered in golden flower petals, he thought it absolutely stunning - if not a little effeminate. He'd take it!

"Not even the plague can stop us from VICTORY!" He shouted, forgetting how many times he'd already caused an avalanche by screaming at the top of these mountains, and thus doing just that.

The mantle was still in his hands, even though that was all that stuck out from the ground. Muffled by the dirt, he repeated his cry. "VICTORY!"

Despite her best efforts, her attempts to ignore his body against hers faltered and shattered entirely as he tightened his arms around her waist. Hoping that Moon might find her way as she often seemed inclined to do, he closed her eyes and practiced breathing in and out at regular intervals, lest she forget to do that. Which was a distinct possibility.

When she opened them again, it was to take Robert's hand, accepting the stability of his support as she dismounted. It would have been prudent to ensure his own stability, it seemed - but he recovered from the landslide nonetheless.

"Victory," she softly repeated, stifling a laugh as she retrieved her own flowered mantle.
