Much like a cat that had been unexpectedly startled, Corrupter leapt back from Defender at the sound of that groan. His back arched as he bounced almost impossibly high. He landed in a arched position. All the fur on his body fluffed up and his tail bottle brushed up behind him. His ears pinned back to his skull for a moment, then he eased down into a slinking movement back towards Defender. He reached his paw out again, though this time a acid green glow of light hovered around the feathery tufts. With all the caution of a cat patting a unknown object, he attempted to trickle a flow of healing energy into Defender with each cautious pat. There was no way he could heal all of the Defenders wounds. he was too weak this far from his place of power, and with no followers accompanying him int his task to lend their strength to him. he had only his own personal energy to share.

That growl was a sign. Corrupter leaned away from Defender and as the other rolled away from him he lowered down into a protective crouch. His ears pinned back on his head once more. The question posed to him, or rather spat out, gained Defender a look that say 'Really?'. "It seems to be you laid here wounded, so into the carnival I have crept. I'm imparting what energy I have accumulated, so that quicker you may return to the battlefield and opponents intercept." He answered simply

Corrupter slowly rose up until he was sitting facing Defender. His tail flicked around his paws before he answered the wary God. "You are such a silly fool if this is how you believe things to be. Why wouldn't I wish to help a fellow God against his adversary? Just because you and Martyr do not like my Mother dear, does not mean there is no reason for me to be here. There are plenty of times when there are fights between family members, like siblings squabbling over various misdemeanors. No matter your feelings towards Mother or Me, I still wish to see you and Martyr achieve this victory." He stated with a little nod of his head.

Corrupter rose from his position and very gradually took up a safeish distance away from Defender. He paced himself alongside the wounded God, his head tilting as he took in that weird shuffling gait. "If you would allow me to attend, I have more healing energy I can spend." He suggested lightly.

Corrupter came to a stop when Defender did. His head tilted slightly to the left as a child like puzzlement fixed itself on his face. After a brief moment he flicked his tiger ear and gave a snort of amusement. "I am mostly male in my parts, though my paw and tail are female." He states as he lifts his gray paw and wags it in the air. "However despite this muddled assortment I can tell you I am a man without fail." He says with a firm nod of his head. "Still your other wounds slow you down and make your travel difficult. I can at least ease physical pains and get you back to your tent as a result."

Corrupter merely settled a peaceful smile on Defender as he reached his purple paw out towards Defenders body. he attempted to very lightly touch the feathery tips against the other gods chest before he summoned the neon green energy again. He allowed the slight trickling of his healing blessing to filter into Defender. He didn't expect to heal the worst of Defenders wounds, but he was confident that he could ease the pains and set him right enough to be able to make the trip back to his tent easier. "It sounds as if a rematch is owed. I will look on from a distance and hope that I shall not have to help you home." He stated pleasantly.

Corrupter pulled his paw away as a wave of weariness weighed heavily on him. Healing another God was different from healing a simple pockettu follower. Corrupter placed his paw down on the ground and bowed his head slightly. "Then I wish you fortune in your battle to come... I..I think I should drag my tail home. I am quite weary right now and need to rest, so that I might resume healing the fallen so they may fight at their best."
