Even her niece was amazed at her work. This woman must be truly great. It brought a smile to her face as she listened to Ilyra gush about the talents of her aunt. "I'll be sure to send people to her if they need weapons. Who knows, my mother or my gran might already know her." It was certainly a possibility. Though she hadn't seen her mother wield a weapon in a while.

"Haha, I wouldn't be stealing your job. I just feel like I should take responsibility for something if I am going to ask." Ming'we was much more relaxed now. It was easy to be around Ilyra. She didn't need to worry about which half was seen or hated. "I'd love to help." Tagging along with this Alkidike would be fun.

"Mhm!" Ming grinned and hugged the practice bow to her. She had something to look forward to other than another day to herself. When Ilyra winked at her and made a jest about their color she felt her cheeks warm. "Are you flirting with me, you adorable rarity?" She couldn't resist. Ming'we had to.

Giggling at the mention of finding Ilyra a few years sooner she had to shrug her shoulders. "Well it's not my fault you were hiding from me." Yes, Ming'we was being shameless as she flirted. Though she wasn't making a true move since Ilyra was taken. When she heard the question about her type she had to pause for a moment. "That's actually difficult to answer. I was never confronted with someone I found attractive until we moved to Jahaur." She gave a nervous chuckle and licked her lips. "It was a sister that caught my eye. She had a lip ring and it looked really inviting...."

"I did. Her name was V'demhe." And truthfully it was that pureblood Alkidike that had gotten Ming to be interested in females. She thought she might only be attracted to males, since she'd found someone cute once. Though really there wasn't anyone that stood out in a crowd to her. Until now anyways.

She noticed how Ilyra looked up and did the same. Shocking. "Oh boy, I didn't think it was this late. I need to make it home soon. My Gran has a curfew in her house." Something she suspected was because of the rumors flying around lately.

She hoped she got to see the Alkidike again as well. Even if it were only to become friends. Ming'we was thankful to the sister for helping her when things had seemed pretty bad. When Ilyra told her where she lived a smile came across her lips. "Well, you're not too far away. I live in Andile." Neighboring villages. What fun. That meant she could visit her new friend often if she chose to do so. It also meant she didn't have to travel far to seek out the girl's aunt for a weapon.

Ming gave another smile before she took a step in the direction she needed to go to make it home. "Come find me if your Aunt needs special materials for the crossbow? I'd love to help." The blonde hybrid offered up a giggle before she looked around. "I think we better get home before it gets too dark." Or trouble found either of them.

She watched Ilyra walk away and had to smile to herself. Making a friend in a day wasn't half bad. Her eyes went once more to the bow in her hand and she grinned. Ming'we would treasure the item. She might even refuse to use it. Looping it over her shoulder so that she could carry it easier, the blonde turned her attention to the direction she needed to go. Judging from the sun and the increased darkness on the forest floor, she needed to hurry. Her gran really would lock her out of the house as punishment for being late in coming home. Stern Alkidike that she was. So Ming decided to run most of the way and increase her chances at making it home on time. She couldn't wait to tell her brother about her interesting day.
