This is the dawning of, the rest of our lives  Daniel heard what she ordered and knew that if she liked seafood he would have to take her to his restaurant sometime. Their specialty was seafood. As she apologized he looked to her "It's fine it's not an issue." he said. It was in the past. Some people reacted differently. "If you don't mind me asking though why did you react like that?" it had seemed almost like she was terrified of him at first. "You don't have to answer that if you would rather not." he added on not wanting to push her to far.

This is the dawning of, the rest of our lives Daniel nodded hearing her. "I understand." he said. Feeling the awkward tension start to set in again he came up with an idea to hopefully dissipate it. "Perhaps we should reintroduce ourselves and forget yesterday happened." he suggested. Hopefully it would work. Otherwise it would pretty much be him pining over her and anytime they were together it would be awkward. It felt right with her but that was underneath the intense amount of awkwardness. He wanted to avoid this being the awkwardest meal he ever had so he was praying this would work.

Nodding "Alright" he said rubbing the back of his neck slightly before bringing his hand down to rest on the table. "I'm Daniel Atlas. I'm graduating from uni at the end of this month with a business degree. I co-own Corner BYOB with two of my friends." he said not really to sure on what else he could say. "Anything you would like to ask me before you introduce yourself?" he asked. He was willing to answer any questions she had.

He had a interesting lifestyle. Hearing he co-own Corner BYOB, made her curious on how he was young yet co-owned a restaurant "Well, it interested me that you co-own a restaurant.How long have you been doing that?" She asked, definitely intrigued on it. Well they looked the same age, and one of them worked at popular bar, the other co-owned a good restaurant.

It was a small little place, on a corner, and it had been pretty successful. "I believe it was James who brought it up and we convinced Thomas into helping us with it." he said. It had started as an idea between them and allot of convincing to get the other in on it. "Have you ever been?" he asked her curious. If not he would have to take her one day. The owners and their guest sorta got free meals there. It was a perk. The catch though was only once a month.

It really made Melanie happy, someone was doing their dreams, or at least she thought. "Wow, two years. That's amazing. And no, sadly I haven't been there yet. I'm always busy." She said with a nervous chuckle and looked to him before seeing their food arrive. Of course he want to know about her, and she was sensitive to some topics, and one wrong move could make Melanie a hermit crab and hide in her shell. I mean he knew that she worked at the Rockwell, but she had smaller jobs in the day besides that.

Seeing the food arrive he thanked the waiter before looking back to Melanie. He was curious about her. All he really knew was she worked at the Rockwell, and that the split color hair looked good on her. "Tell me about yourself." he said to her. If she wanted to eat first then talk that was perfectly fine with him. He wasn't going to pressure subjects that she didn't want to talk about.

On the side of that, I teach dance classes to girls and boys between five and ten. She said before taking another bite. She couldn't lie, it was really good.

This is the dawning of, the rest of our lives Daniel smiled softly as she said that she wouldn't mind it. It was progress, progress was good. Taking a bite of the food he closed his eyes softly. It was good. You would expect him to actually go out to more restaurants but he mainly cooked at home or ate at his restaurant. Nodding as he heard her he had no idea how she managed to do all of that. "That is impressive." He had enough on his plate with the restaurant and college he could not do that. Taking another bite of his food he was glad that it worked out this way. They could have a conversation that didn't have long pauses or forced conversation an a attempt to prevent the tensions.

"Yes it's impressive but it's all in a daily routine of mine, well depending the day. Today is an off day, and luckily you caught me at the right time." She said with a soft smile and finished her food and drink, then realized she didn't offer some to Daniel. "Sorry I didn't offer some of my food, it was just so good, and yours looks good as well." She said blushing a bit, and looked over to Daniel with a smile

Eating some more of his food he heard her comment and looked up at her. "It's fine, I can always come back another time and order it." he said before glancing down to his meal and seeing it was almost finished. "You can try some if you'd like to." he didn't mind. He hoped that the two of them could continue like this through the day and not go separate ways after lunch. He was enjoying his time with her. He had nothing planned for the rest of the day.
