Hmm Hartnell should go next, if only because I don't think I've seen an episode with either him or Colin Baker in...but I do have Vengeance on Varos on DVD so I'd like the latter to still be around for me to pass judgement on for myself once I've finally got round to watching it.

I was expecting Colin Baker to get the boot first, since he's usually on the bottom of most "Who's Your Favorite Doctor" poll (for the record, I think Colin was a great Doctor saddled with a wretched costume, lame scripts, and two really irritating companions). I'm actually quite surprised that Pertwee went first.
That Troughton and Davison are the current frontrunners seems rather bizarre, but I suspect they'll start taking hits once some of the less popular Doctors get whacked. I notice quite a few of you seem to be trying to save McGann, despite my best efforts to make him go away. sweatdrop

Too right! McGann was good... though I can understand people not liking him. I worry that people sometimes dislike the movie rather than him though and blame him all the same. S'funny how people either love him or hate him. confused
I'm surprised Davisons a front runner but Patrick Troughton's my favourite Doctor so I'm not surprised about him! May he kick lesser Doctor arse.
I would like to point out the new points thing is a bit unfair - it only takes one person disliking a Doctor to knock them out but two people liking him just to keep him alive, never mind get him ahead. I can't think of any better way but it just seems a bit uneven. ninja

I neither love nor hate McGann, but that movie was a dreadful bore. And having the Doctor declare himself half-human was both irritating and pointless.

It may seem an unfair system, but the way I see it is if a doctor only has one supporter then they really should be getting knocked off the list anyway. It was really just a way to try and tip the balance and get some movement into the system.

Eccles' loss of support is probably due to all his fans flocking to Tennant these days, who's more of a...traditional...doctor. Chris was brilliant but, sadly, he's the past now, bwahahaha xD
