they're a bit too close to the center of the ring for that. The shoving only forces the soaring Dragon to wake up as he approaches the ropes, and this is where the young veteran gets to show how he's been around since the age of eighteen. Reaching out to grab Mikey's foot, he attempts to sweep the other out from under him to bring him down on his back. Should this work, the soaring dragon would pounce and attempt to lock him in a side headlock on the ground

Drako is definitely on top of his game tonight as he has brought down Mikey and put him in a headlock. But with having power on his side, Mikey looks to get back to his feet, and push Drako off to the ropes. If successful, the Celtic Cannon will go for a Thesz Press with some follow up forearm shots!

forced to his feet, Drako is shoved off to the ropes. he hooks his arms in the ropes to stop him and briefly taunts Mikey. Perhaps the soaring Dragon is already a b***h punch drunk?

Mikey's Irish temper flares up at Drako's taunt, causing the Celtic Cannon to charge towards Drako with a clothesline attempt!

drako grins, another flash of the old him. Some things don't change. As Mikey closes in, the smaller Soaring Dragon drops down and pulls the top rope down as well, hoping Mikey's own momentum will carry him over it and to the outside

Over and out goes Mikey. Fortunately enough though, The Celtic Cannon has landed on his feet as he looks to grab Drako by the ankles, and yank him to the outside!

Drako is pulled out of the ring and looks to stomp on Mikey's foot as he comes out, then clock him in the jaw with a stiff right hand. Can't hurt to switch his tactics every once in a while. He is a Damone after all

The stomp is good, as is the punch. But Mikey is undeterred, as he looks to fire back with a left uppercut aimed at the gut of Drako!

(do you mean an uppercut or a body blow? I'm going to assume body blow. It makes more sense)
Drako is caught with the blow to the gut and steps back, but only long enough to go low with a dropkick aimed for Mikey's knee

Mikey takes the drop kick and is sent down to the ground as he grips his knee. Meanwhile the ref has shouted "2!"

Mikey's a big guy, and Drako needs to wear him down. Rising from the dropkick, he throws caution to the win and attempts another dropkick to mikey's face

Drako rises again, this time rolling into the ring and rolling back out, restarting the count. On the apron, he watches Mikey, figuring the big man won't be down for long. He's prepared, as he would look to hit a springboard asai moonsault as the larger man attempts to stand

Mikey stands and is right away leveled with Drako's picture perfect asai moonsault, as he crashes backwards into the barricade. Not a pleasant fall to say the least!

Drako took the wind out of himself with that manuever, but it was necessary to get the big man down. the ref's count has begun again, now reaching the count of three, as Drako begins to get up on the outside.
