So soon, but he should have expected that. He tucked her head under his chin and stroked her hair. She had beautiful hair, soft, slightly curled and a beautiful dark blue color, no leafies had hair like this theirs were all boring red and russets.

"Thats true, so where will you go back to Zena? Sauti? Would you uh, would you like an escort? I don't exactly have much keeping me here, my family tends to drift but they stay in Tale, and they let those important to us know where to find them."

Would she let him come?

"If you didn't mind my presence potentially scaring people, even though I'm a big teddy bear, most people don't think of that the first time they see me," He shrugged a little self-conscious. "This way at least you wouldn't be wandering around alone, the alkidike are stirring, but I assume your mostly safe because of your profession?" There were always marauders though, marauders with no morals. Travel was complicated, now even for lone males although they seemed to get less flack. But Sauti seemed far away sitting here in Tale.

"I want you to be safe, and I would miss you terribly if you left, I really would." He wouldn't know what to do with himself, sure he might be fine for a while, but after a few days, weeks had passed, he worried that this exotic northern star would forget about him. They had something new and budding going on here and he would not risk withering it if he could help it.

"If you need your space I understand, if you wanted I could escort you up there, and then return home, but I would have you know I wouldn't be opposed to at least a vacation in Sauti. My parents probably want some alone time anyway."

He smiled down at her, "Thank you, I'm afraid I would fret that you were in danger the whole time on the trail, not that you are not capable but well I've come to care about you."

It was so tempting to kiss her like this with her head uptilted like that, patience patience, maybe if he just lowered his head a little...maybe she would come to him? That way she could chose whether or not it was too soon.

At least this way she would have someone to watch her back, and if nothing happened at least he wouldn't be sitting in Tale worried. "Just let me know when we are going so I can let my folks know." He rumbled in her ear.

It was a bit like sitting too close to a flame, the wind picked up and ruffled his hair, and he pulled back slightly, this was much much too tempting. Well, why not? He leaned down the rest of the way and lightly touched his lips to hers before pulling back, then dipping down again in a soft caress. She was so gentle so pure, and he wanted to protect everything about her.

"You know your lips taste like honeyfruit," he smiled against said lips. He felt like his heart would burst. He leaned back a little to let her breathe, he was certainly having issues, "I have always wondered what that felt like, I'm afraid my imagination fell quite short."

Yup he had scared her, he was such an idiot. "Sorry, I got carried away." He flushed, he didn't know much more beyond that if he were thinking properly like a normal rational being he might not have done that. He didn't want to scare her, but he also had no idea what he was doing. This way, that way, who knew what the right answer was.

He retracted himself a bit, thinking that she needed her space. He had done something awful.. but it hadn't felt awful. His face was on fire, couple with an awful afraid feeling. What if she dumped his butt, then he would have already screwed this up.

"A chance? For what? Oh, oh that.." He tilted his head, opened himself up a little more, making it so she could come, "Here, you steer it."

He kept still letting her choose what to do, keeping his eyes half lidded and looked down so he wasn't staring at her. He really hadn't expected her to want another one, he expected her to pack up and leave taking the dregs of their almost connection thing with her.

He swallowed and tried not to hold his breath or he would turn blue, maybe this was what she meant..and he was expecting it this time.

Finally her lips touched his, and this was different, more deep, it was an unusual sensation to say the least. After it was his turn to blush deeply when she giggled and made the most adorable gesture with her hands. He was at a loss of what to say really. So he blinked and smiled back, the light coming back into his eyes.

Yup, she had him wrapped around her finger, oh dear. He grinned. He felt a bit electrified a little crispy but in a good way. He let his limbs turn to butter and slumped down on the ground propping his head on his hand..forgot his crystals were there and hastily moved his hand under his jaw instead. "Wow."
