So when you activate one, all units with the Doctrina special rule gain the benefit, whether they like it or not.

Vikki Stardust Sooooo, no HQ =/= warlord right? When no HQ is present you pick a character with the highest Ld. So in this case, a lowly Alpha (sergeant level character) leads the army.

Technically yes and no. It is mounted on the Astra Militarums Valdor Tank Hunter.

Sean King Technically yes and no. It is mounted on the Astra Militarums Valdor Tank Hunter. I've compared it to the rules I've found in the 4th Horus Heresy book. GW's version: Neutron Laser: 48" 10/1 blast, concussive FW's version: Neutron Beam Laser: 36" 10/1 ordnance 2, concussive, shock pulse (vehicles that suffer a penetrating hit can only fire snap shots next turn) Not really seeing any drawbacks on FW's version, unless the 30k version is superior to the 40k version.

Does it not have the Feedback special rule where if it fails a Penetration roll on an opponents armor than the beam may rebound back and cause a glancing hit( I'm leaving a little bit of the specific wording out). The Neutron Laser Projector that I have in my books is 72" Ordnance 1, Shock Pulse, Feedback.

Picked up my codex and datacards today, along with a Dragoon. I also got a box of Rangers from the store owner because I managed to fight off death for another year. mrgreen
So, using all of this, I'm going to be building me a Kill Team:
Skitarii Rangers (10) - Transuranic arquebus
Sydonian Dragoon - Phosphor serpenta
The chap with the arquebus will of course have Ignore Cover, the Ranger Alpha Feel No Pain (boosting it from 6+ to 5+) and a random Ranger will have Infiltrate for Outflank.
