Dawson was very, very glad he was already red in the face before Chel sat down. A soft whine left him when she stole his hat, but other than that he just chewed away at the inside of his cheek and didn't say a word more. Being a temporary pool boy was a secret now? s**t, he didn't want to think about how they would react if he told them other things he actually considered secrets.
More than that, he didn't have the balls to tell Chel off for still teasing him like this. Chris had already made it clear what would happen if his cousin got insulted. So he sat still and didn't raise his voice and remained a Good Boy, accepting that it was just going to happen and he needed to stop being sensitive about it, as Chris undid the ropes.
"I got at least a couple a reasons t'be sour," Dawson pointed out, though he was trying to push for something joking again. Haha. Tied up and vaguely interrogated and chastised for protesting while the carpet burn simmered on. Dawson the Hairy Pool Boy. Hilarious. Well, it was. "But I'll accept some cookin' as yer apology fer yer offenses."

Chel gave Dawson a "we've totally made up now right?" hug and squished her cheek into his before getting off his lap and ruffling his hair. No his hat wasn't going to be returned.
She was curious about those reasons actually, but she let it lie.
The pink haired cousin gave a look at the blonde one and said, "I dunno, I think we could arrange somethin'. You don't got a kitchen here though." And upon further examination, she added, "No TV neither ..."

"Party in Chel's room!" Chris shouted, pumping his fists into the air. "Party, party, party!" he chanted.
"I can make pancakes at your place. Breakfast for dinner or gtfo. Do we still have chocolate chips left?" They were actual children, really. Chris's excitement was a little too much.

"This the basement, the hell ya'll think would be down here?" There weren't even plugs. Dawson relied on a battery lamp to avoid being in complete darkness and the luck of finding empty slots in the common room or at work to charge his phone.
The possibility of brinner considerably worked his mood towards something more cheerful, though he kept shards of annoyance at them for the whole affair out of pride. Best not to let them think food would erase the board so easily, even if he was a giant pushover overall.
He almost asked what Chel's boyfriend would think but bit his tongue. "M'not goin' 'til ya'll apologize," Dawson sniffed instead. "N' also only if ya'll promise t'make chocolate chip pancakes."

Chel immediately broke into the cousins' ceremonial PARTY dance, complete with synchronized touchdown movement.
"I don't got chocolate no," Chel said rather mournfully, already taking Dawson and Chris by the hands and moving them towards the door. "But you never gonna walk into my room when there ain't pancake mix."
She was stopped in her tracks when Dawson brought the train to a hault. "Yeah Chris, promise to apologize," she said brattishly.

Chris smiled and nodded. "Alright. I promise to apologize. It'll happen someday."

Dawson made faces at them. "Ya'll know I didn' mean--" He stopped himself and just sighed, though he tried to cover it up with a laugh. "Yeah, alright. Close 'nuff." Just look forward to hanging out and watching things and eating pancakes, even if they didn't have chocolate chips.

Chel let out a hoarse laugh and led them upstairs, demanding that Chris give her a piggy back ride part way up.
Once arriving (on Chris' back) she gestured that the door was open and let them (mostly Chris) walk her in. The room was, as usual, in a state of disaray. Now there were a few more articles of clothing lying around than usual, particularly pieces of lingerie and other odds and ends.
"Home sweet home," she announced, hopping off of Chris' back. "You wanna get tied up here too D-man?"

He gave her a piggy back ride only because he had no other choice. By the time they made it to her door he was red in the face and making soft pathetic noises with every movement. "Why are you so heavy stop eating so much," he complained as she FINALLY jumped off.
He kicked things out of the way as he walked further into the room, already heading toward the siren call of the pancake mix. "I didn't bring the rope so if you wanna get tied up we're gonna have to get creative."

"Shame on ya fer callin' out a lady's weight!" Dawson chastised, smacking Chris' arm with maybe more force and more satisfaction than was necessary. Just a little payback. "You lucky I didn' make ya'll carry me up, s**t. Ungrateful b*****d."
Avoiding looking at the mess for too long, he planted himself at a chair by the counter, ready for pancakes. He managed a few tweets in the meantime as well.
"Ya'll owe me a big stack a'pancakes," Dawson stated as a matter of factly as he rubbed at his cheek, still stinging a little from the drag. "With a bit a'butter n'a shitton a'syrup. Now what ya'll got here fer DVDs again?" He had every intention of taking advantage of the amenities up here while he still could.

"I ain't no lady," Chel said, guiding Chris around her kitchen and pointing at things for him to grab for their amazing meal. When Dawson mentioned wanting pancakes, she gave Chris a jab. As in, not waffles.
At the question of movies, she had to pause. "Whose line," Chel rattled off, "Sucker Punch's still in the thing I think. Some porn somewhere I think ...." She stared at the piles around her room with a wistful look. "Star- no wait I traded that s**t for a pan last week." She also had Lord of the Rings, but she didn't feel right sharing it with these two.
