As for tips, well... you can try catching them moving as slow as possible but enough to not cross the line. This will be usefull for the other lakes. Sometimes the reason we lose the fish is because we don't "dance" with it. Sounds ridiculous but when the fish goes from right to left or vice versa, especially with fast fishes, we act as a reflex to move the opposite side. And with that, we think more about only catching it with that still-looking-to-catch-a-large-fish-stress than controling it.
So, do this in Bass'ken. Try to catch without moving and move only when you see you will lose it but as smooth as possible. As fish turns faster and becomes faster (here or on the lakes), you will see the "dancing" that I'm talking about.
