There in the distance came the form of the little happy go lucky yellowblood, racing like a literal bullet making a pit stop at her buddies booths. She was getting closer and closer to her end goal. The mask. It was rad, and reminded her of the tall gorgeous orangeblood she had grown rather fond of, and her super cute lusus. Keeper if she recalled her name. She simply HAD to have one, even if the faygo bottle filled with water was tempting. "I'm gunna bring back EVERYTHING okay just you watch. Back in a flash!" What was once Voscil was little more than an after image as she took off.
Her words were an understatement, her flurry of movement was only visible save the blurr effect of her yellow glow. Vos shot off to go make use of her list. The purse was handled a bit clumsily, and the clicking greenblood never saw what was coming. Voscil simply snatched the item the second the troll relaxed her grip, and was gone. The yellow speeding train saw the purpleblood and his wrong doings. It wasn't like he needed such a pretty little bottle he was a total jerk for stealing stuff from people! Voscil would just have to teach him a lesson.
The last item was a little harder to procure, but with speed on her side and a bit of timing she was able to lift it off the adult troll and casually bounded away without a moment of consideration for the two even if they seemed quiet cozy. She had a scavenger hunt to tackle! This was no time for troll-watching.
"I'm baaaaack!" Voscil called out, pratically shouting to her companions. Had she even been gone more than 10 minutes? It was possible it had been even less time. Whatever it was, the kid really seemed to have a punch to her step. The amount of carbonated sugary faygo the night previous that lead to her epic crashing for the night had left the yellowblood energized and more than ready to go.

Etsali stared in absolute wonder as Voscil dropped all three items on the counter. It was times like this she wished she had a watch, so she could tell just how much time it had taken the little yellowblood to completely ace the game. As it was, she could tell my the position of the moons that it couldn't have been very long at all. She turned to look at Zindel, eyebrows rising in silent 'Can you believe how good she is at this?', and then reached for a little box kept between them.
"Wow, Vos, you're getting really good at this! Skills like that need a fitting reward, so you can have all of these for today!" The thief slid the box open, pulling free three little raffle tickets, and then presented them to her friend. "Keep at it, you're definitely getting the hang of scavenging!"
leon_a_darkangel As both today's top scavenger and the only scavenger, you win all three tickets! The booth is now temporarily closed until new items go up!

Name: Keionx Rutace Week Total: 3 Day Total: 2 Keionx seethed as the thief laughed at her efforts. She didn't even care what she did – she wanted to wipe that smirk off of Etsali's face so bad... So... bad...
She snatched the list out of Etsali's hand and shoved her face close. ”I will do better.” she declared heatedly, before pushing back abruptly and making her way into the crowd.
Her first target was the silver horn ring. She jogged along behind the yellowblood, easily keeping. Slowly, carefully, she gained on her until she was close enough to slip it off the yellowblood's horn.
As they ran off into the distance, Keionx regarded her find.
This is stealing she told herself. No it's not she retorted, This is showing Etsali. Showing her what?
Keionx had no answer... because she had just found the owner of the box. Oh boxes, boxes were a hero's best friend right next to bottles. You opened them and found treasure... gold, gems, magical swords, convenient items to destroy terrible entities... such were the stories.
What would be in this box? Keionx had only to track the blueblood and wait until they tripped. Of course, her offer to help her up was genuine, and very kind and generous. But she also took the box, keeping it out of sight until the blueblood went to the lost and found to look for it.
There, that was two of three. She'd show Etsali. She'd get three of three for sure!
Finally, she was down to the purpleblood. He was distracted – the perfect time to snatch the violin. Wait... snatch? Don't think about it she thought and that was easy enough. She just had to picture Etsali's face. Her hand closed around the neck of the violin...
The purpleblood noticed her.”THIEF!” He shouted.
And Keionx did what any affronted young hero would do when accused of something so heinous. She drew her sword.
~~~
Several bruises, cuts, scrapes, and pain later, Keionx – bloodied and slightly battered - returned to Etsali's stall and placed the items on the table. She glowered at the thief. ”Next list. Now.” She hadn't gotten all three... but she would not give up. Not until that thief looked at her... how?
This was so confusing.
Voscil was on the move again, rushing off from her friends booths with her new list of things to find. She was moving ever closer to her goal of that fancy mask, and trolls be damned it would be hers. Without missing a beat, she made her way towards the troll and his violin. Wiggling her fingers she went to snatch her prize, only to have a large blueblood elbow her out of the way! Huffing at him as he talked about bringing the goods to his little lady she glared at the guy. Sure trolls had to be fast in order to beat Vos in her prime, but it still had been pretty rude! Lame.
Determined to make up for lost time, she rushed off to get the next item. No one was gunna take this one from her, Voscil would make for damn sure. MamaJu padded along side Vos at an easy leisurely pace not far behind all the while. While the yellowblood flirted up a stormed and focused on their task, she casually found some boxes to climb on and lifted the item off the kids horns. Giggling, she rocketed off without sticking around. Lastly came the box. At first she thought it was a pretty silly request, and almost thought it was a joke. Especially when the blueblood in question kept tripping over himself. Sneaking up on t he troll, she seized the goods and skipped off.
With two of the three things in hand she plopped them down on the counter, folding her arms as she grinned at Etsali and Zindel. "Sooo, I got what I could. Some dude talkin' about his lil lady stole the first one. But it's something right?" She exclaimed, giggling as she lingered around to chat.
It had already been a while since the last participant had turned in their ill-gotten gains by the time Ephias approached the booth, and Etsali was kicked back away from the counter, the box of items resting in her lap as she went through them. So preoccupied and obviously not expecting anyone new to pop by, she didn't even notice the redblood until he put down his bag. She jolted, glancing up, and a hand that had jumped to her belt relaxed away as she saw who was there.
”Ephias, you came!” Her face lit up into a bright smile as she dropped the box to hop up and hurry over to the counter. Realizing what he’d asked, her eyes dropped back to the bag, to the items he’d brought, and then flickered back up. She considered a moment, and then shrugged with a little laugh. ”Well I don’t know about Zin, but I’m keeping mine! That’s the best thing to do.”
As she transferred his collection over to hers, she glanced back up. ”You know I didn’t really expect you to play either! You’re not half bad, though.” Task complete, she nodded and turned her full attention back to her friend. ”How have you been since last time? It's been a while.”
The new list was presented and Keionx was determined - determined - to show Etsali what she could do. It was still as confusing as before, but that didn't matter to Keionx as she sallied forth to meet the night...
First, the chimes. They were easy enough. All she had to do was engage the redblood in conversation and then it was only a matter to get them to turn away for a moment to check something before... She was gone, chimes in hand.
She jogged through the crowd, managing to spot the purpleblood as she paced near the stands. Keionx crept closer and closer until, finally, with a rapid gesture, she lunged for the gem, swiped it from the woman, and raced into the crowd.
Keionx... her conscience cried, Keionx, what are you doing?!
But all she could think of was Estali, and the look on her smug, raccoony face when she showed her just how good she was at this. At anything.
She saw the greenblood boy before she saw it: the key, lying discarded in the mud and sand of the pathway. Triumphantly, she picked it up and returned to the stall. She plunked her treasures.. Treasures?! Really?!... down in front of Etsali and leaned in, leering slightly. "There." she drew back, smugly, waiting to see the look on Etsali's face that would tell her she had won... whatever game they were playing.
It had been a very rough day for Hazmas. His first two attempts at getting the items on his new list had ended in nothing but failure. He'd attempted to chat it up with the purple blood in the funny hat and had almost gotten the gemstone off of her when she spotted his hand, screeched "thief!" and begun belting him like a green-blooded punching bag.
After escaping the livid high-blood, the young troll had taken a moment to catch his breath and nurse his bruises when he heard the wind chimes. He'd found the source speedily enough but this endeavor turned almost as sour as the last one. At least he'd gotten away before they could do any real damage. On top of everything, when he'd finally found the owners of the golden key, they had NO IDEA where it was.
'Well, scratch that one off my list,' he thought, letting out a sigh of dismay as he sat down by one of the booths and hung his head. He was just about to head home when a fellow green blood approached him.
"Hey, did ya lose something?" the greenblood asked, his words slightly skewed by the scars on his face.
Hazmas looked up. "Yeah," he said slowly, furrowing his brow with suspicion.
"A key?"
The young trolls eyes lit up. "Yeah! A golden one!"
The scarred greenblood smiled and extended his hand, holding out the key. "Found this at one a' the booths," he explained as Hazmas took the key.
"Thanks," Hazmas said gratefully, "I was just about to give up looking for it. You're a life saver!"
"Don' mention it," the scarred troll said with a smile and waved as the younger greenblood hurried back to the scavenger hunt booth.
Voscil wasn't on her game as per usually...and it showed. She had tried to make up for lost time after her adventures with cooking and spazzing out on poor Reemus earlier in the day and only managed to bring back one of the three goods the list she'd snatched up without even trying to make conversation with her friends. The only one she'd managed to score was the chimes, that weird blueblood had snatched one of her goods, meanwhile one of them had called her a thief as she tried to wrestle with the item.
Scowling she at least slipped the item she had managed to score, realizing she finally had enough for that sweet, sweet mask. Her eyes lit up, as she asked Etsali for one, and if it was okay to take one of the bottles of faygo home or if it was a matter of one or the other.
However she noticed something was off about her friend. "Hey chicka are you okay?" She tilted her head at the girl, leaning in to wrap her arm around her waist the best she could, tipping her head back to look up at her with wide trusting eyes.
Ephias sighed. Of course she was keeping them. He should have known better. Oh well, what was done was done. There was no getting them back now. “Only about one third.” he said. “Well,” he continued after a pause. “One third I guess if you're referring to success rate or maybe t-two thirds if you're basing moral alignment on that success rate. Any-anyway...” He scratched the back of his head, anxiously, further messing up his hair. “I wanted to see what it was like for you. To understand, I guess.”He was still not sure he understood. Etsali was a paradox for him. She was capable of remorse and sympathy but more often acted without either. She took pride in who she was, even though she did not steal out of necessity. He tried not to think about it objectively too much. It made him start to wonder why he was even friends with her and he did not want to go down that road. “I've been all right,” he answered. “K-keeping to myself mostly. I'm glad to see you with Zindel even if... Er, I mean, I-I haven't been able to contact him. The last time I saw him was at the p-p-parade when we got split up and I don't even know where he lives so...“How about you?” He was rambling. “How have you been since... um...” Ephias trailed off. Maybe it was better not to bring that up.
