Watching her comrades go down, Verusha felt the heat kick up under her skin. This wasn't good... she still wasn't landing any clear hits! but that big monster was nearly done for. Come on... just a little more!

Cherry took a deep breath and took her last shoot at the monster, she hit the creature and was hit in return, and she fell to the ground..

Ok now it was really up to her... Finally, she managed to land a hit! not as strong as she'd liked it to be, but hey it was something, and that monster was nearly kaput.

She was sore, and tired, and beaten down from the battle, panting lightly as her fire creatures managed to finish off the purple pain in the neck. It fell with a heavy thud, shaking the ground, and making Verusha stagger slightly. With a tired glance to her fallen comrades, she saw just in time that a portal appeared for them as well that pulled the trio back to the school. Somehow they'd managed to get out of there, and defeat the creature, by the skin of their teeth.
