[PRP] I Stole a Dalek! (Idris Taerdos & Darvos Skaro)

She smiled brightly at him. "Me, neither," she admitted. "But I'll do it if you will."

At that Davros narrowed his eyes on the mare, "Why do you care?" he demanded. "What's your angle in all this? I don't see any reason why you're invested in of all things me. I'm just some random stranger who happened to pass out on the wrong cliff."

"Or you could be a stranger who passed out on the right cliff, depending on how you look at it. As for what I get out of this..." she shrugged. "I don't know. Mom always said that strangers were just friends you haven't made yet, and you always help out a friend in need. You're clearly in need, and I can help. It costs me nothing but a little time, and I've got nowhere else to be. So really... why wouldn't I help you?"

"Who does something just to be kind to someone else?" Davros demanded. "There's got to be an angle here for you...." and he just wasn't seeing it. That probably bothered him the most. He was used to understanding everything, taking the measure of a situation in an instant. But he'd been off- since the attack in the water and now with this crazy mare. He just didn't understand.

"Why can't people just be kind to each other?" she asked, confused. Her mother was kind to everyone, much to Aydan's horror. She shook her head a bit, dismissing that question. She knew that some people weren't as trusting as Velika was. "Maybe I just think you're cute."

Davros narrowed his eyes on the mare, "Well now I know you're up to something..." He was many things, but cute was not among them.

She rolled her eyes again. "What did I do to convince you of THAT?" she asked, exasperated.  

[Angelique DelaMort]

"Should I touch back on the thievery or the hostage taking first?" Davros replied dryly.  

[divena]

"Hey now!" she protested, offended. "I thought we already agreed not to use the word hostage! And I'm not a thief. I've never stolen anything in my life!"  

[Angelique DelaMort]

"Aside from an injured stallion's metal collar. Do you realize I just had to wrestle that back from some crazed kelpi? And then had to evade a skinwalker..."  

[divena]

She stiffened a bit at the mention of a skinwalker. While she had never met one herself, she had heard her parents' story of how they met and fell in love. She had a healthy fear of the creatures. "You ran into a skinwalker?" she asked, softly. "No wonder you're so banged up. I'm amazed you're still alive."

The stallion scoffed, but found the action hurt his chest, "That's two of us. Not an experience I'm overly anxious to relive. Don't think I would live if it happened again. Wouldn't have made it this time except that blasted kelpi decided if he didn't kill me, no one would..." At least that's how Davros wrote it off.

"You're lucky not to have been killed by that terrible kelpie," she murmured. Honestly, she wasn't really surprised that multiple people were trying to kill this fellow. He was certainly turning out to be a charmer.  

[Angelique DelaMort]

"Kelpis, walkers, crazy stalkers," he muttered trying to find a comfortable way to rest his head and failing...miserably. "Just a day in the life of me."

"Poor fellow," Idris crooned gently. Seeing his struggle to find a comfortable position, she shifted around so that she was sitting just right that he could use her as a pillow if he chose.
