Stribog flew away as soon as he broke the ice off his wings. He spun out of the way of the ice beam. He straightened up and spotted Flora down below.
"Try to keep her from moving any more!" Alexa called out.
With a nod Stribog swooped in. He breathed heavily on Flora as he flew past her.

Flora was able to dodge the attack before her trainer even told her to do so. Also with out her trainer's consent the kingdra blasted another Ice beam at the flying type trying to limit its movements.

It didn't seem like inflicting a status effect was working right now. Alexa had a slight frown on her face as she decided what to do next. "Stribog! Take her down!"
Stribog flew up and out of Flora's ice beam's reach. He then turned around and swooped down. When he was close enough he exhaled heavily sending a strong gust of wind towards her.

"Flora Calm down!" Zak called out. Why were most of his pokemon very short tempered. "Ice Beam but this time stop firing it randomly" Zak told his pokemon.
Flora was just about to fire another beam of ice at random, but her trainer's words stopped her. Focusing and taking aim she was able to blast a sucessful ice beam at the Altaria

"Try and dodge it Stribog!" Alexa called out seeing Flora actually aim at Stribog. She sighed slightly in relief when she saw that it wasn't a serious hit. "Keep at it!"
Stribog heard his trainer's warning and tried to roll in the air out of the way. It worked slightly and instead of being hit on his wings he was hit on his underbelly. He flapped his wings hair to gain altitude before zeroing in on Flora. Swooping down he repeated the same attack as last time.

Zak decided to go back to status effects. When they worked they were often effective. "Flora Freeze it with Ice Beam" he called out.
Flora aimed this time and shot an ice beam once more at the alteria

"Watch out!" Alexa called out a moment too late. She winced as Stribog plummeted to the ground frozen solid.
Alexa's warning came too late and Stribog was hit with the ice beam. He froze instantly and landed on the ground with a thud. The fall cracked the ice slightly but it would be some time before he could break free.

"Flora don't hit it with another Ice Beam just yet" Zak called out to the Kingdra just in time. "Lets raise your attack and use Dragon Dance"

Stribog wiggled slightly in the ice trying to get it to break faster.
Alexa could only stand there and watch as Stribog struggle to break free. It did give her time to figure out their next move seeing how Zak was working to undo the stat changes Stribog had inflicted on Flora.

Stribog wiggled some more and pecked at the ice from the inside. There was a good size crack appearing now and he was working at it.
Alexa was thinking as fast as she could on how to move when the ice broke. It looked like Stribog would be free soon enough.

Stribog had gotten the crack to grow into a hole when the ice beam hit. It didn't freeze over the hole but went right through and hit him. He chirped in pain and began to really move to get the ice to break.

"Flora Continue with another Ice Beam!" he called out seeing that the bird was now free to attack again. Hopefully now they would be able to finish this quickly.
Flora moved and then took aim at the bird who was now free from its icy prison.

As soon as Alexa saw the ice break she called out the plan. "Attack! Use Moonblast!"
Stribog broke free and was instantly blasted with an ice beam. It was a good thing he was already on the ground. He then took off and flew around. Starting to glow he dove at Flora to attack her.
