As the dark-types advanced, Evan searched the room for their next mode of escape. Not to far away, he spotted another doorway, and quickly pointed towards it. "There, Saga." He couldn't really run to it himself, the grass-type still held him tightly in her arms, though she was shorter than him, she still managed to hold onto him. Setting Evan down, the grass-type took Evan by his hand and quickly took the lead across the small distance to the doorway. Once everyone was inside, Louhi unleashed a psychic burst, making a small slab fall, blocking the doorway. It was then Evan noticed his bag strapped over Louhi's shoulder. "My bag!" He called, reaching forward. The psychic nodded, pulling it off quickly so that Evan could take back his possession. 'It was chaotic, but never doubt my quick thinking.' He replied. Evan nodded. Though, now that they'd been given a moment to calm down, Evan glanced around for a quick head count... Law was missing. "Shoot, Louhi, Law's still over there." Evan motioned as if he was going to grab the doorway to pull it back up but Louhi stopped him. 'Never doubt my quick thinking. Or Law's perseverance. He said he'd take care of them while we make our escape. Now, let us move.' Evan was hesitant. Just leave? Could Law handle all of those Pokemon by himself. A hand resting on the door, he could feel the vibrations of the dark-types bashing into the doorway, trying to get through, but the cry of Law every so often broke through. He was fighting on strong. They couldn't let his sacrifice go in feign.
Law's Karate Chop landed square on the forehead of a Sneasel that thought it could get in a sneak attack on Law. Law however wasn't so easily fooled. With a grin he watched the Sneasel back up holding it's head before it finally fell back and became swallowed up by the other dark-types. He rose a paw ready to Karate Chop the next foe, but a shout from across the room caught his attention, as well as the woman's from earlier. There in the doorway, bursting through the tsunami of dark-type Pokemon was another chunk of Evan's team. Zoro, Luffy, Aki and Origin. Origin was the leader, using his solid body like a bulldozer. The dark-type, Zoro leaped across the room, Luffy clinging to his back. In his Zorua form when he landed, he made a spectacle of changing to his human-illusion, holding up two sword-like bursts of energy, a third clutched in his teeth. The princess-like woman turned with a look of anger. "More to come and take my friends away!?" She shouted, waving a hand forward. 'We just want our friend, lady! Where is Evan!' Luffy demanded, pointing one of his stubby little arms in her direction. "I will not answer to thieves!" She shouted once more, letting out a burst of energy that seemed.. odd coming from a human. Zoro jumped back, taking a stance. This was no ordinary human. In fact, she wasn't human at all.

Meanwhile, Evan hadn't at all moved on. Not necessarily because of his hesitation to move on without law, but also because he came to discover something about his bag. "Louhi..." Evan muttered, holding up the bag like a baby, keeping the contents inside. "There is a hole in the medicine pocket." A large burn had created a hole in his bag, just big enough for a few items to fall out. Nearly all his potions were gone. Louhi arched his head. 'It must have happened back when the fire got scattered. I had picked up the bag with esp, so I guess nothing had been able to fall out than.' Made sense. Looking over at the door Evan rested a hand on the door. "Well, Law should be well supplied." If the panda got in a precarious predicament, hopefully he'd find something to help him out there. 'Whatever the case, I am sure he will be fine.' Louhi replied. 'We must move on.' Saga's claws wrapped around Evan's shirt, tugging him lightly. He didn't want to, but the sooner they found their own way out of this place, the better.

With three Houndoom as his opponents, it wasn't likely Law could have taken them all by himself. He indeed had to rely on some of the items that had been scattered along the ground ,thanks to the hole in Evan's bag. A Lava Cookie was a quick snack to absorb the poison that had entered his system, and a leaking potion helped him nearly avoid passing out. Origin however took on the final two Houndoom, ending the battle. The woman screamed in anger, finding her Pokemon fainted, the flames continued to dance around in ferocity. At this point Zoro had, had enough. He knew at this point this woman was indeed an apparition. With his blade-like darkness energy, Zoro dashed forward, slashing the screaming woman in half, leaving the room silent once more. In the meantime, Law quickly used a few of the Potions he found to get himself back into fighting condition.

With the woman gone, and the Dark-types once more pushing and shoving themselves at the doorway trying to get to the other side. Law folded his paws, pointing towards them. "Yea. We need to get to Evan. Which means we need to get rid of them." Just as Zoro said that, the blockade behind them broke, and a whole new flood of dark-types entered the room. "Law, you take those ones down, and Origin, you open the door for us to slip past. I'll hold off these guys." Zoro instructed, falling into a fighting stance. Law wasn't to pleased by Zoro's sudden take over of the leader position, but he had had the same idea regardless.
For Evan it made ultimately no sense to just stand around and hope they'd make it through the door. For now he'd have to head forward. Perhaps he could find something along the way that could allow him the ability to re-open that door.

It wasn't long before Evan had the uncanny feeling they weren't going up, but down. They were going even further down into the earth. This however wasn't the concerning part. That came with the ungodly heat that seemed to circulate around them. Evan was sweating like a Pignite before they finally stopped to take a break. "What... What the hell..." He huffed. 'It does seem to be getting uncomfortably warm, but I have yet to see the source of this heat.' Louhi stated. Despite being a tropical Pokemon, Saga was even starting to feel some discomfort. Just where were they going? This temple honestly couldn't be going that deep down could it? Something wasn't right, but they weren't getting anywhere lost in thought, they had to all press on.
Law himself got in a clean Karate Chop to the back of a Spiritomb's keystone. The ghost shrieked in pain before vanishing back into his stone. Meanwhile, Zoro was doing his best, being a tiny Pokemon in actual size compared to many of the Pokemon trying to proceed. He was resorting to illusion tactics, and creating what looked to the Dark-types as a wall, all the while he dodged their attacks as they attempted to break down the 'wall' before them. His illusion wasn't going to last long however.

Their footing had seemed to level off, meaning they were no longer descending, but it was still unnaturally hot for the inside of a Temple. underground or not, it shouldn't be this hot. To keep his mind off the heat, Evan tried his hand at prying the bird from Saga's tail. The way it was shaped, it was somewhat familiar. Though, running the risk of frying out his brain, he decided to just put it to the side for the time being. It hadn't accrued to him that the dex could provide some of those answers.
Weeding out the dark-types near the doorway, Law used Karate Chop on the back of a Poochyena, getting that one out of the way. Origin at this point had easily pushed his way through to the door, but how to open it was another question. The dino wasn't stupid, he knew brute force would leave it wide open for the dark-types behind them to follow through, but also getting it open wasn't going to be the easiest challenge for the short-armed dino

Their progress seemed to have finally lead to somewhere. As the small group exited the tight hallway, they entered yet another chamber. This one was twice the size of the one above, and it was lined with stone statues, some that looked as though they were made from marble. Streams of fire and various lamps lit up down here as well, giving a nice calming glow, despite the hot air that flowed around them. At the center of this chamber however, Evan noticed something that could explain a lot. "Look, A Hot spring." They must be near a Volcano. Not entirely comforting being underground near an active Volcano, but still... It explained the heat. 'How odd, that a spring is still functioning aft the many years this place must have been used.' Louhi noted. "Yea, temples like this date back like.. hundreds of years." One didn't need memories to tell this place was ancient. and Louhi was right, even a natural spring can at times become clogged, so it was quite amazing that this one was still functioning. "If it wasn't for us trying to escape this place, I'd of loved to take a dip." Evan stated. 'I would think not.' Louhi mentioned, moving down to the water. 'Look at this water a bit closer.' Evan arched a brow, but did as he'd asked. Actually, Evan hadn't needed to even get close before he could see the problem. Bubbles. The water was boiling hot. He'd of ended up scalding himself with third degree burns if he'd of jumped in. "That's a bad sign though, right?" Louhi nodded. 'I would advise us moving even quicker to get out of here.' He stated. 'We do need water though, being in this heat cannot be good for anyone. ' Now that Louhi mentioned it, Evan realized he was felling a bit thirsty. Searching his bag, he only found potions for liquid... non-consumable sadly.
Up in the much cooler room, Law Karate Chopped another Spiritomb this time, though, he saw the illusion of another Zorua break, leaving a fainted fox in his wake. The last Zorua in disguise he hadn't noticed, but knowing now there were the foxes around, it made him look back at Zoro... why wasn't he going nuts like they were? Did it have something to do with the Pokeball? That's when he saw it, scattered with some Potions, a Pokeball had also managed to fall from Evan's bag, how it had ended up in the medication pocket was anyone's guess, but Law didn't really care about how the ball got there, but if the theory he was concocting was actually true. Now just who to target?

The chamber itself held at least three other potential ways to go. Being choosy wasn't the best idea right about now, so it was pick and commit. Keeping his distance from the pool at the center, Evan peered into the dark hallway of one of the doors. "I really wish I had a flashlight." Evan stated, but with a sign, he motioned forward. "Let's try this one." To which everyone followed. Louhi for the most part hadn't picked up on any bad feelings about any of the paths. the chamber itself was giving him concern.
With a grin, Law spotted his target. A rather silly looking Deino who was somewhat separated from the group of other dark-types. With the fur covering it's eyes, it could hardly see anything in front of it, so it wasn't even realizing it was attacking a thick wall, and not the doorway. With a quick flip, law was on the Deino's tail, with a Karate Chop down to the back of it's head, the dragon passed out, as the others did. Law then pressed the small button to the Deino's head, with a flash it was drawn inside, and after three shakes, a soft 'ping' signaled the Dark-types capture.

So far the hallway was proving to be just that... another long seemingly endless hallway. It wasn't the most exciting thing, but as they moved onward, the heat from the chamber behind them seemed to fade away, meaning they were likely now moving away from the active volcano underneath. Didn't mean they were safe, however.
Meanwhile, Law was only allowed a moments celebration to his successful capture of the Deino. A Houndour turned with a snarl, ready to launch an attack at Law. He however, was quick to defend himself, holding up a paw and Karate chopping the Houndour on the forehead, somewhat cracking it's bone-like feature. A Vullaby turned and took the Houndour's place fairly quickly, offering up the next target for Law.

The Vullaby proved to be much more of a challenge than Law had anticipated. With the use of pluck, it really did Law a number, but two Karate Chops later and he managed to knock it out. Finding a few potions to heal himself up, he returned to continue taking down the blockade that kept them from getting to the door. There appeared to only be about 5 more left, but Zoro was finding it more and more difficult to keep all the Dark-types behind them from getting through, and eventually his strength was going to give in.

Evan's progression wasn't good. The hallway had turned into a large maze, twisting and turning into various dead ends. "Why is there a maze?" He exclaimed, resting for a moment as they'd managed to end up in another dead end. "isn't there some trick to these things?" Evan inquired. Louhi shrugged, and Saga shook her head. Fylgia was just as confused as the rest of them. "Alright.. it won't do us any good just going any which way, let's make this simple. " He instructed, holding up a finger. "Let's just keep turning right."
Meanwhile, Law was face to face with another Spiritomb, they seemed fairly abundant amung all these Dark-types. He counted two more, as well as an Absol. Zoro in the background winced in pain, faulting some, letting a couple of the dark-types through. It was now or never. Law leaped into action, karate chopping one of the Spiritomb, not even caring that it had been another Zorua in disguise, Law went for the Absol next.

The Absol hardly posed as a challenge to Law. He'd been one-shooting all the Pokemon in his path save for that Vullaby, but it had the advantage of flight going for it. Whatever the case, Origin had finally figured out an idea on how to open the door. Using his tail, the large dino dragon wedged his tail under the doorway and using his sure muscle he began to lift the door up. It was small enough a fit for Law and Zoro, but Origin on the other hand wasn't likely going to make it through. He roared out into the chamber, getting Zoro's attention. Dropping his illusion the dark-type quickly leaped across the chamber as fast as he could go, the other dark-types behind him. Origin ushered the two through, but Law wasn't quite read to go. / Go to Evan, He couldn't have gotten to far ahead. Tell him we'll meet back out in the desert. Me and Origin can handle this chumps on our own. / Pancham told the Zorua. Zoro wasn't has hesitant as Evan, leaving them with a sharp nod and an assurance that they'd come back to get them.

With a final Karate Chop to the remaining Spiritomb, Law leaped up onto origin's head. The dino dragon let the door fall once more, lowering his head an releasing a loud earthshaking roar. It did little to dark-types that were quickly approaching. Law held a paw forward as if saying 'charge' To which Origin clawed at the ground before charging head first into the dark-types. Law and Origin were now in the thick of it, and Law wasn't about to let anyone take him down.
Meanwhile Zoro ran as fast as he could. When he finally reached the chamber with the boiling water he was panting beyond imaginable. Seeing the water in the center of the room undrinkable, he sniffed the air. Evan had come through here there was no doubt about that. However, Zoro wasn't entirely the best when it came to tracking, thus.. he was lead by his poor sense of direction into the wrong doorway.

Origin wasn't so much attacking the Pokemon as they pushed their way into the center of the tsunami, more so he was pushing his way though. Law on the other hand aimed his first Karate chop at an approaching Deino, to confused to notice where it was going. Knocking it out, Law watched in mild disgust as the other dark-types just clambered over the fainted dragon. They had no respect for the fallen.

Wave after wave of Dark-type Pokemon made their way into the chamber Law and Origin occupied. It seemed like there was a never ending stream of all Dark-type Pokemon. A particularly bold Purrloin leaped into the air, trying to use Origin as a vault, but Law was quick to attack, jumping up and karate chopping the feline square on the shoulder, knocking it back into the wave. He landed once more on Origin's head, holding up his fist with a confident sneer. With plenty of steam still in his belly, he wasn't likely going to be stopped any time soon.
Evan in the meantime was still lost within the maze. He'd found himself at a center point, a small map displayed for those who were lucky to get to the center. though, the map did seem broken, many of the map had been erased from the many years it had been sitting out in the open. covered in dust and dirt, he couldn't really rely wholeheartedly on this map. "I guess we'll have to just continue like how we were going. Though..." Pointing down at the map. "This path looks the most in tact on the map." Glancing up at Louhi, the psychic nodded in confirmation.
Zoro in the meantime.. was still lost.
