When finally Ace woke up, the male began his morning regime, adapting it to his new situation. First he had to unpack everything and force himself to take a shower that wasn't in his nice bedroom-sized bathroom, the shower of which could fit about ten people comfortably, but even in the cramped space, and... less then adequate scent of the bathroom, it wasn't all that bad. Even still, Ace couldn't help but fill still a bit filthy once he returned to his room.
He couldnt get out of the Pokemon Center quick enough either. Calling back his selection of Pokemon, the male was left with Derosa riding atop his shoulder, with Amarantha floating nearby. Fia lead the way like before, showing no signs of her earlier scare this morning. "We're heading into a forest, which means bugs... disgusting creatures, but your flame will do nicely to keep them away, won't it, Fia?" Ace stated with a grin. She replied with a posh 'Fen' Folding his arms over his chest, he mentally chuckled to himself. This fox certainly had an attitude, and Ace loved that about the fox. He didn't need insecure Pokemon on his team. They were a nuisance, either being timid or slow. Which brought to mind his Froakie. he'd chosen the frog as his starter because of the white cloud-looking collar, and for it's water-typing. Nova, as he'd nicknamed it, was the timid-type, the type Ace didn't much care for, but what put Nova's timid nature above other timid-natured Pokemon was the potential Ace saw. It wasn't like he'd never trained a timid Pokemon before, it was often difficult, but worth it in the end. Once they gained confidence there is no stopping them.
Just over the bridge, Santalune Forest's entrance came into view, it wasn't far now until they were within it's maze-like path. Though no forest was quite as maze like as the La'Ten Forest back home... the forest covered a large portion of Amarantha, and with new paths being discovered every day, it was hard not getting lost. He was glad he'd been able to avoid all reasons to enter that forest, but this one... this one was the other path to Santalune he had.

○ ○ ○ After spending some time letting the team play and, in Otohimé's case, listen to music, Maiku returned all of them except Furea and the Lilligant, who was enjoying the songs too much for him to want to make her stop. He did take them all to the Pokémon Center to make sure they were all well, and then switched his team around for whatever reason. He just fwlt he had to. He took Yuki and Otohimé off and placed them on the lower half of his belt. He could switch them back at any time. Once that was done, he made his way to Santalune Forest.

Dumuzi paused before leaving the town of Aquacorde, though he was in a bit of a hurry, he needed to insure that he had everything before he took off into the big wide world of pokemon. Most of the stores here seemed to be for tourists and beginner pokemon and included such shops as one that sold pokeballs and another that sold potions. Having just finished getting a bunch from the professor, Dumuzi really didn’t feel the need to go into these shops and get their wears, at least not yet, granted by the time that he needed them he would be in another town or place, he was sure. As he ran through a mental checklist to see if he needed anything to buy, he noticed that there were a lot of people with one or more of their pokemon out of their balls. Though his stoic expression didn’t budge, he did feel a slight bit of sympathy for Titania who was kept in her pokeball for the time being, maybe later when he earned her trust a little more he would let her out of her pokeball so that she could walk around and explore the world a little better. He also figured that letting her out so quickly might be a red flag that could get him caught or in trouble. He heaved a bit of a sigh and look one last look around before heading towards the bridge of the town.

The bridge brought with it a sense of tranquility that Dumuzi hadn’t heard in a long, long time. The babbling of the river down below and the soft footfalls that echoed gently off the stonework of the bridge itself only seem to add to the relaxing atmosphere. It had been so long sense he had felt this sort of calm, the last time that he remembered feeling this way was at Erika’s gym. His soft smile fell on that thought, he missed his home in the Kanto region, there was just a lushness there that was hard to find anywhere else –or perhaps it was just the feeling of being ‘home’ that was the reason he missed it so much. After all, he was born and raised there, so it would only be natural that he would feel such a connection to it. Dumuzi wondered if maybe he should have headed back to Kanto instead of coming here, though maybe that would have been an obvious choice to those who knew him. There weren’t many fairy type pokemon there either… no, maybe he would visit there again sometime soon, but for right now he was more than pleased with his choice of coming here to start his journey and he could always gather his pokemon here and move out to another part. Though if he did go back home, he would have to visit Erika again, there was no doubt about that. Heh… he wondered if she even remembered who he was? It had been a long time sense that sensitive, quiet kid had come through her doors to help her take care of the flowers after in his younger years. Maybe it was a good thing that they moved when they did, after all, the last thing the Flowery femme fatale probably needed was teenage angst and frustration within her walls. The Gloom stank the place up enough. Dumuzi placed his hands in his pockets and continued on, closing his eyes for a minute and trying to dislodge the homesickness from his mind so that he could focus on getting what he wanted and trying to plot his next move to see what he was going to do after collecting his team. It was rather amusing actually, for someone who did so much planning regarding the situation he found himself in, he still didn’t really have any idea about what to do or where to go after he got past the first stage of his plan. Perhaps that was for the best though, after all, the Gods seemed to have a sense of humour about things and liked to wreck any and all plans that the mortals themselves made. When he made it to the end of the bridge, he paused and took a deep breath. Now, this was what he considered to be the start of his journey. He gazed over the meadows that held fields of tall grass and noted the forest in the distance where he was going to have to travel through in order to reach his first destination. Exhaling, he took his first step onto the grass and into the beginning of the field, marking the first steps on his road to his journey.

It was kind of nice to get back into the more natural part of the world again, the way the grass swayed and brought with it a unique scent that always seemed to sooth whatever ailed him in some way, even if it was just a little bit. Maybe it was, again, the reminder of Erika’s gym that caused him to feel this way but it was still a welcomed distraction from the rather unpleasant stagnation that he city could bring. Dumuzi walked along at a more relaxed pace now, he was probably far enough away from the train station that if the police were still looking for him that he could duck into the forest rather quickly and quietly to avoid getting caught. He didn’t take much heed to the pokemon and environment around him at this point in time, the Professor said that he should look for Fairy pokemon in Santalune city area and that’s what he was going to head straight for. If there were fairy pokemon there, he was going to capture them, even if he had to search for days to achieve his goal. He hoped that Titania would be co-operative with him for this, it would be their first group of battles together and hopefully the little Fairy type would be at ease enough with him to go along with it. If it didn’t recognize him as her trainer then there might be some troubles down the road. Dumuzi was stuck in between being confident and being hopeful that things would work out for him in regards to this. As Dumuzi approached the entrance to the woods he paused and looked up at the rather beautiful trees that stretched up higher than he imagined when he looked at them from a distance. Well, this was it, he wasn’t going to let himself turn back now.
