Sable frowned a bit, but nodded when asked if she was alright."Yeah... I'm just stuck taking things easy for the next few weeks. Long story short, some jerk had his Grimer use Poison Gas in my direction,"she replied, taking another sip of water afterwards. In the meantime, Jin was more than willing to fill in a couple of the blanks."We already got the poison part taken care of, so don't worry about that. It's just that she was stuck coughing for so long, it's done some damage to her throat and lungs. They should heal up fine as long as she doesn't do anything rash, but it'll take some time."
With the explanation give, the disguised Zorua turned his attention back to Ezra and Trinity. He chuckled a bit as the male trainer told him not to worry about the mistake, although it was more from Trinity agreeing with him. He might not have been all that thrilled with fairies, but that didn't mean that Jin couldn't see them as cute and adorable. It just meant that he didn't want to get too close, that's all. And right now, he was about as close to the Togetic and Flabebe as he was comfortable with.
Sable's Snivy huffed at Avonlea's comment, although he snickered as the woman's Charmander didn't seem to like the idea of being put back in his ball for acting out. At least it seemed that he didn't have to worry about that with his trainer, although becoming an arm accessory might not be that much better in the long run. Still, he'd have to wait and see what her plan would be once he evolved and got bigger, seeing as she wasn't going to be able to carry him forever. That fluffball of an Eevee, too, for that matter, since that thing should be looking forward to evolving at some point.
Sable noted that her Snivy was mostly keeping quiet for the moment, then chuckled a bit as Ezra and Avonlea both mentioned training their teams."Well, yeah, that's going to come first. We might head a bit further on to actually do some battling, though. Rose seems to already be pretty strong, so I don't have to worry too much about raising her up yet. Working with her will more be us getting used to each other, although whoever sent her... I guess they knew my way of battling well enough,"the redhead commented, receiving a smile from the Roselia afterwards. The teen then looked down at the red and orange Snivy."This guy, on the other hand, is going to need some work before we actually get into a gym battle. He's been doing a good job, but I doubt going up against a gym leader will be quite the same as what we've fought so far.

Sable smiled a bit at Avonlea's reply, then chuckled quietly."Well, hopefully that won't be a problem for a while. He was out back in Unova, which is... Well, part of why I'm training out here for the time being instead. He's not likely to be able to get his team healed up anytime soon, either, since the nurses of the closest Pokemon centers to where he was hanging around probably have a pretty good description of him cobbled together from all the other trainers he caused problems for,"she explained with a slight touch of pride in her voice, although she had a much more serious expression and tone when she shook her head at Ezra."Considering he tried bypassing the battle altogether and had his Beedrill attempt to skewer me at one point, I don't think so."As Sable spoke, she was not fully aware just how much the explanation of her current ailment bothered Ezra. Yeah, she knew it must have bugged the two trainers, but for her, trainers taking cheap shots to turn the tide were just the type of people she was used to worrying about. Even if she hadn't been a trainer long.
The oddly-colored Snivy huffed again at the Flabebe's comment, turning his nose up as if to dismiss her."And why shouldn't I find it funny? Especially when I don't have to worry about getting punished,"the grass type replied, giving a single chuckle afterwards. Rose turned her head to face the grass starter with a disapproving look on her face."Not entirely true. You notice that she has yet to let out the two more troublesome teammates we have? Keep up the attitude, and you'll likely be sitting in a ball as well. Besides that, there might be other difficulties you face if you irritate the fire type enough, so I would strongly suggest apologizing to the Charmander,"she warned with a calm voice, her eyes narrowing a bit as the Snivy looked away from her. It didn't take too long for the serpent to let out a quite groan and look over at the Charmander, though."Fiiiine... Sorry for laughing at you,"he finally said, although he didn't sound so much sorry as he did annoyed. Better than nothing, though.
Although he did pay attention to the conversation going on between the four Pokemon, Jin also kept track of what the humans were saying. He nodded a bit when both Avonlea and Ezra commented on how strong the Pokemon were in the area beyond Pallet Town."I can understand that. At least you weren't trying to go after the ones in Viridian City. For some reason, the ones around that city are a bit stronger than what's in the forest, or at least they looked to be that way the last time I was through here,"he commented, causing his trainer to raise an eyebrow again. Last time? Now she was really curious, but she knew better than to try and ask him about it now. He'd just try to either change the subject or lie.
The dark-haired male then turned to Sable and grinned."Of course, we have a bit of a numbers advantage, so might be able to do alright for a while in the forest. Just don't try to have one Pokemon go through a whole battle, and things should go fine,"he encouraged, knowing full well what the teen had and having a good idea of what she'd be dealing with. Of course, the girl'd have to be careful of any Pidgey or Pidgeotto that might get annoyed at her, but aside from that there wasn't much that could pose too much of a threat. And even if she did have to deal with them, she had that Eevee and Purrloin of hers. Him too, although he didn't much like the idea of losing his disguise in front of the two other trainers.
As the disguised Zorua thought, he noticed that Ezra and his Togetic had gotten into a battle with a Rattata. From the looks of things, the two did pretty well, at least against the little guy. Maybe the flying fairy was further along than he originally thought."Hey, nice job you two~"he said with a grin and a thumbs up after the duo finished their battle and drove off the Rattata. He might have been a little too cheery for someone that was just an observer, but he couldn't help it. No matter how well he had his human act down, he was still a Pokemon and still liked to see a good, clean fight.

Not on Flabébé, though."I saw Avonlea scold a Noivern for bullying some Dedenne before she left home. She's not afraid to scold you if she has to, I'm sure. You better be careful, Snivy."Avonlea suddenly itched her nose to stop herself from sneezing. Was someone talking about her? Well, whatever."So, this guy pretty much tried to have you killed by his Beedrill. Huh....Well, I've never used my sword on anyone, but I may if I ever come across him."Wouldn't be the first time I've killed. Won't regret this one either.Avonlea looked at Jin."It would be hard for me. Liliana can't fight because the flower she's attached to can't be removed from me. I'm sure it would be more than a gruesome sight if a Fury Swipe or Ember struck her. My Sylveon is already pretty strong. Mikhail's the one I have to train. It pissed him off."Thanks. Trinity's stronger than she looks. She's not my strongest Pokémon, though."Ezra let go of her arms and let her fly off his head and go over to hover over all their heads happily before she came over to be treated with potions. Ezra then caught Felix as he ran passed him to treat him, too."Char~!"Felix ran off to play again, though he was really just trying not to burn Snivy by accident. The Grass Snake reminded him a stuck up Bulbasaur at the lab, and it irritated him.

The oddly-colored Snivy's eyes narrowed a bit at Liliana's warning, but he didn't feel like he had to say anything as he looked away. Why should he be afraid of a human treating him like some kid that needed to be taught a lesson? Especially if that human wasn't even his trainer. Yeah, sure, the sword on the woman's hip was kind of intimidating, and the flower in her eye was a little unnerving, but aside from that? She was still just a human and one that probably wouldn't do much more than talk at him.
Sable nodded as Avonlea summed up what she had said, then turned to listen to the conversation Jin was still having. Something about deciding where to train, from what she could gather. Either that, or something about who and how they were going to train. Speaking of, the teen needed to get going and raise up her team, too. Jin, however, seemed to be enjoying the company and conversation, as he just continued talking.
"I can see why that'd be a big problem. She'd probably also have a hard time fighting back if she's always clinging to something attached to you,"the disguised Zorua agreed, nodding as he spoke. The other Pokemon being fairly powerful already was also something he could understand, as Sable had a similar problem with her Roselia. They'd have to fix that problem later.
Jin then turned to Ezra and tilted his head at what the teen mentioned."Oh? Who is, if you don't mind me asking?"he inquired, having only seen two of the blonde's Pokemon and being able to easily see by now that the Togetic was a bit further along than the Charmander. That'd mean the teen had at least one more Pokemon, although he didn't see another ball on his belt.
The dark-haired male then turned when he felt a tap on his shoulder."Hm?"Apparently, the one that had tapped him was his trainer, who nodded her head towards the town exit before looking at the other two trainers again."Anyway, it's been nice talking to you, but we should get going. We've probably held the two of you up enough as it is, and we need to get some training taken care of as well. Maybe I'll see you two later on?"she said, ignoring the brief, light glare Jin shot her when she said that they needed to do some training.

Avonlea smiled at Jin softly. Good to see he understood her dilemma. He also asked about Ezra's third Pokémon, to which Avonlea leaned over to peek at his belt. Only two PokéBalls. Either he was lying or his third was too strong for him right now."I'm curious, too. Who, what, and...where is this stronger teammate?"Did she sound like she thought he was lying? No. Avonlea was skeptical, of course, but it wouldn't be odd if he kept his third one off him while he was under the experience level needed to control it. Looking at Sable as she spoke up, and the albino frowned a bit. She didn't feel comfortable leaving her alone. Not after that story."...We could train together. It's never fun traveling alone. Sable was also a bit curious about who Ezra's stronger teammate was, and she soon got part of an answer. Whoever this Leben was, it sounded like they were the kind of Pokemon that would keep the teen on edge. Then again, Jin probably fit that category, too, but he seemed to prefer sticking around her for the most part. At least, as long as he didn't get distracted by something or wasn't searching for something. The idea of one of her Pokemon wandering off on their own and her having no idea where they were did not sit well with Sable at all, especially after she had lost sight of her Snivy so easily while back in Accumula.
The trainer smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of her neck when Avonlea suddenly suggested that she train with her. From the way the woman worded it, it just sounded like she didn't want the teen to have to be off on her own, but given what the redhead had admitted not too long ago, she was pretty sure there was a bit more to it than that."Well, I certainly won't object to the company, but I was planning on heading into the forest to do some training. I wouldn't want to drag you somewhere that could get your Charmander into a tough spot,"she admitted, giving a slightly nervous-sounding chuckle.
Having given a nod and a smile after Ezra spoke about Leben, Jin let the male have his mind wander and grinned at Avonlea."Besides, It's not like she'd be alone. I mean, how can you be alone when you've got almost a full team of Pokemon? And me?"The male laughed a bit after posing his questions to the albino, although, from the way he made it sound, it seemed the inclusion of himself as a travel companion was an afterthought. A rather accurate thing if it was observed, as it actually had been an afterthought for the disguised Zorua. After all, he was a Pokemon and a part of Sable's team, so logically he was already covered by his first question. He really needed to work on that again.

Avonlea tilted her head a bit. So, this Leben just wandered off on his own without Ezra knowing where he went. She felt like she should scold the boy for being so irresponsible, but felt he had a...certain connection with Leben to be able to trust him like that. It was actually kind of sweet. Looking at Sable and Jin, she couldn't tell if they were accepting or declining."That's true. If you want to go alone, all you have to do is say so. Smiling a bit, Sable took the balls for Rose and her Snivy and knelt down so that she was closer to the height of the two grass types."I'm sure it'll be a bit easier on the two of you to hang out in your balls instead of walking all the way,"she suggested, earning a nod from the Roselia as she turned and waved at the Flabebe. She then tapped the Cherish Ball she was marked by and got sucked inside. The Snivy, on the other hand, decided he had a more comfortable method right in front of him and hopped up on his trainers shoulders."...Or that..."the teen muttered as she straightened back up and clipped the two balls on her belt.
Jin chuckled a bit at both the situation going on next to him and what the other two trainers were saying."It means exactly what you'd think it means,"he, well, he thought he explained, although that wasn't much of an explanation. Thankfully, he followed it up with a somewhat better answer."We'd love the company, but we're not gonna force you to follow us. If you feel like you can handle what's in Viridian Forest and want to come with us, then glad to keep traveling with you. If not, then good luck and hope things go well."The male had a rather cheery expression and a chipper tone to his voice, apparently happy enough with just the fact that he and his trainer were moving on to the next town. That wasn't the only sign, either, as someone paying attention would be able to hear the swishing of something against fabric as his tail - having more or less been concealed by being tucked up the disguised Zorua's jacket - was wagging in its hiding place.
Sable seemed a bit uncertain as Jin gave what was hopefully a more accurate explanation of their view than hers. It wasn't just the different way with words that made the teen feel off, though. Through the conversation, Sable had been growing increasingly aware that, despite having no troubles with language, she sounded different from how the other people she had come across so far had sounded. It wasn't a tone problem, but an accent one. Still, she didn't want to make her new... Acquantences? Obviously not quite friends yet, since they just met. Either way, she didn't want to disturb them too much, so she gave her best attempt at a friendly smile before making her way up the road out of the town and towards Viridian."Hey! Wait for me!"Jin called as he hurried after the teen, not really noticing that the fluff of his tail had started to poke out from under the back of his jacket.
