It was quite infuriating to the dragon pokemon that either no of her attacks hit or they hit her. A rumble escaped from the depths of her throat showing her frusteration. Her throat started to glow slightly before she released a dragon pulse at the rattata.

"Dodge it, quickly!" Walpurgis called out a hurried command, but to no avail, as the rattata looked up from shaking her butt just long enough to be hit by the dragon pulse dead on. As the rat pokemon slid to a halt, Walpurgis frowned. Nazrin couldn't have stopped that. The kingdra was powerful, at least as powerful as Satori. It was a wonder that Nazrin had lasted this long as it was. Still, he had a mission to complete, and she could probably take a bit more punishment before he'd have to throw in the towel for her.
"Flame Wheel, Nazrin!" The rattata child got to her feet shakily before firing a gout of spinning flame at the kingdra.

Hoary she hit the little rat. Quite pleased with her self she forgot to dodge the incoming attack. Flames swirled around her burning her in the process. Trying to cool the little rat down she fired another water pulse at it.

Nazrin got hit with a face-full of water. Walpurgis called out another command. "Taunt it again!" The little rattata saluted before making a rude gesture at the kingdra.

Anger rose up with in the kingdra as the rat taunted her once more. Her neck glowing once more she released a dragon pulse at the rattata.

Nazrin was flung backwards from the force of the dragon pulse, and Walpurgis had to decide whether he should continue. Seeing the little rattata get to her feet, he decided that he should, at least for now. "Flame Wheel, again!"
Nazrin opened her mouth and unleashed another spinning flame at the kingdra.

Flora was getting quite good at this dodging thing. She jumped out of the way of the fire attack and then sent another wave of water towards the Rattata.

Nazrin tumbled backwards from the water attack, and sent another wheel of flame at her opponent. Walpurgis looked on, seeing a resemblance between the rattata and her father.

Walpurgis saw the icicle coming and decided that the match was no longer in Nazin's favor. Retrieving her pokeball, he recalled her before the ice could hit, shattering against the ground. "Sorry about this, but I'd rather not see Nazrin get hurt any more, you know? We forfeit." He called out to Zak with a smile. He turned and left with a wave.
While he probably could have gone on longer, and perhaps even have won the battle, it would have been out of character for Siegfried Lothar to push his pokemon to the brink, even if they wanted to fight. The higher-ups would understand.

"Good battle" Zak called out. "Nice job Flora" there were times during that battle where he was quite worried, especially all the times that Flora had hurt herself during confusion. He with drew Flora returning her to her pokeball. "Have a nice long rest"
