User Image Hachiro didn't move, didn't look up as he was circled--though he did haev to supress a twitch of surprise from the fan. It hadn't hurt or anything of the sort; he simply had not been expecting it. He slowly got to his feet, moving silently to the seat before settling on top of it, waiting silently for the next quesion. Though still not looking at Arashi, he turned his body to face him, head lowered.

"My mother is a silk weaver, Honorable One. He is willing to offer 50,000 yen for my dowry." A high price, yes, but Hachiro's mother had begun to think that his son would never be married off--and Shinku's business was a respectable one, enough to pay a relatively good amount for.

Shinku's smile was noted, and Hachiro would have smiled back if not in the presence of Arashi. It did make him feel more confident however.

User Image Yes, his mother was desperate--Hachiro still felt waves of tension leave his body when he heard Arashi's response. He had done his part, and he had done it well enough that he would not be seperated from Shinku. The Gehaka was silent for a moment, then responded, "My mother had a few ideas, Honorable One, though he wished to speak with you in private. He will send you a message soon." Hachiro was not usually envolved inthe affairs of his mother's business, which didn't bother him in the slightest.

Slowly, he glanced at Shinku, feeling a smile trying to tug at his lips, but knowing he could not. Not in the presence of this particular Haka...he didn't want to risk messing anything up.

Arashi muttered something under his breath about unnessary delays, waiting for a replie, as well as not sending the message first. "Very well." He replied, "Your mother name and estate please." He leaned over to ring the small brass bell near his hand.

User ImageShinku ears flickered as the bell was rung, calling his mother's Gahaka. Please, may it not be Kageki. The young haka did not get along with his formal cousin. Who was visiting for some unknown reason. He did not want to listen to his cousin dribble about not being a proper honerable respected Haka.

A Gehaka walked into the room. Rather small for his breed, Kenshi, his mother first husband, made up his lack of height in both intellegence and charasma. Dressed in firey red, trimed in ebon black, and laced with silver eyes traveled to the blond. His green eyes where long and darkly lashed contrasting the near plantuim on his hair. "You summoned me, elegant one?" His voice was warm and drawled attention. Hard to belive that Arashi scorned suched a perfect creature from his bed.

"Yes, you are to record Kohaku Hachiro mother's name and estate. Give it to Kageki and send him off to map the best route." Arashi ordered. "Well? We are waiting." His eyes trained on the Gehaka.

User Image Those bright, curious eyes fixed upon the Gehaka as he entered the room, captivated by the colors that entwined around his body. Hachiro had never seen such a beautiful Gehaka, not even realizing him to BE a Gehaka at first. For a moment, he was lost in thought--not attracted by the stranger, but wondering how he had obtained such features. He could have passed for a Haka easily...

Catching himself, the creature dipped his head forward, his silky, thick braid of hair shifting slightly. "My apologies, Honorable One. My mother's name is Kohaku Ayano. The estate number is 034, located near Chisen Kaiyu Shiki Garden. It was strange to think that soon, he would no longer dwell there, but stay with Shinku instead.

User ImageShinku hid a giggle at Hachiro face. The stunned stupified expression was what most wore when comfronted with Kenshi. Kenshi had small wings and such a delicate look it truely was hard to pin him as a Gehaka.

Kenshi wrote the information down in his eleganct persice script. "Kohaku Ayano of estate 035 nears Shisen Kiyu Shiki Garden." He parroted and tore it out as Arashi nodded. "The route will be on your desk latter this even. May I take my leave?"

"Yes," Arashi himself stood slowly. "You both are dimissed. Shinku tell your elder brother it is not becoming to listen in though the key holes. I have work to scribe before next morn." He took his leave in small doll steps, accompaned by Kenshi.

User Image Well, even if the Gehaka had found Kenshi highly attractive, he wouldn't have paid him a second glance with Shinku around. Loyalty was always an unspoken promise with him, probably because he had never even thought about betraying someone--especially never a Haka or his husband. Hachiro, although immensely tall and strong, was not one to start rebellion. He had been instructed in the ways of this society, and did his very best to play his role. He was content with life.

As Arashi rose, the Gehaka tipped his head forward silently, waiting until he left the room before allowing his shoulders to slump in relief. Though he had not had doubts, he was still relieved that it was over--and it had turned out well. Slowly, he rose, stepping towards Shinku with a gentle smile spreading across his face.

"Is it finished then, Shinku-san?" He cast his eyes curiously towards the door, remembering that Arashi had said something about Sei. Though Hachiro did not have much time to truly evaluate the other's personality, he had felt an almost instant p***k of liking towards Shinku's older brother.

User Image"Yes, Kenshi pretty isn't he? There a rumor that mother and he had a child. That was before I was born though, father knew a bit of it." Shinku pushed his hair from his face. "Sei you can come into the room now. Where you really listening in though the keyholes?"

The left hand door opened just enough for a head to poke through it. Sei smiled pushing his lighter blond hair from his face. "Yup, I wanted to listen in incase you needed saving. Feeling like meeting up with father now?"

Shinku clapped his small hands. "Yes, Hachiro you must meet our father. You will like him so much. Is he still in the forge?" Shinku inquired sliding up from the couch. He completed the rest of the distance to Hachiro and took his hand. "This way."

Sei smiled."Where else would he be but at his beloved forge? Father dearly loves his work."

User Image "He is, but..." The Gehaka tilted his head slightly in Shinku's direction. "I enjoy looking at you much more." A polite nod was offered in Sei's direction as the older sibling entered, not at all ashamed if he had heard that last comment or not. Why should he be? Sei seemed kind, after all. The mention of Shinku's father perked his interest.

As Shinku's delicate hand slipped into his large one, Hachiro gripped it gently, but firmly. He felt utterly relieved that everything had gone smoothly, and was happy to tag along. "Ah, you spoke to me about the forge." He remembered their conversation in th garden, and would enjoy meeting Shinku's father.

User ImageA faint rose of a blush crossed Shinku delicate fair features. His fingers rubbed the Gehaka fingers in appriecation. "It's outside. We can cut through the rooms where brother entered to achive our goal the fastest." Shinku started for the door.

Sei grinned at Hachiro's polite nod. "Don't bother with formality at the moment. Let it rest and be at ease, cause your going to need it to deal with mother later." He maded a face at the mention of his dam. "Mom to much into formality."

User Image Another fond smile crept across the Gehaka's face as color delicately flooded Shinku's cheeks, making him even more beautiful. Hachiro, again, was surprised by his thoughts, never feeling fond of anyone or thing before...it was a nice feeling to experience. At Shinku's statement, he simply nodded. It made sense to him.

Caught by surprise, Hachiro chuckled softly, nodding at Sei. "Very well. your mother..." He hesitated, not sure if he was allowed to speak his mind, but decided to risk it, "Is quite intimidating." That was put lightly, but the Gehaka assumed that they would understand. "I must admit, I was not used to feeling so unnerved...but perhaps that was because there was so much at stake." His thumb gently brushed over Shinku's, a silent sign of his affection.

User Image"Mother could rule the oni if given a chance." Sei said cheekly. THe spirited Gehaka smiled widely at Hachiro. "Speak your mind around Father. I should tell him your walking out to meet him." Sei raced off, wings pulled tight across his bareback, hiding all but the few small scars.

Shinku pressed himself against Hachiro as his brother ran off, a fond smile on his lips. "Do you like my brother? I have a feeling he approves of you." Shinku boldly let his head rest on the other's shoulder. His hazel hair dark agains the pale skin as he rested. "I'm sorry mother is so intimidating."

User Image Hachiro blinked in surprise at Sei, but chuckled once more, his wings beginning to drop as he relaxed. He simply wasn't used to a Gehaka speaking so freely--but again, Hachiro was a very mellow person. He adapted to people's personalities quickly, regardless on whether he liked them or not.

As Shinku's warm body pressed up against his own, he gently wrapped one arm around the Haka's slender waist, simply content to hold him there. "I do like your brother...he's very different from most Gehaka I met." The Gehaka smiled, one hand raising itself to gently caress those silky, hazel locks. "He simply reminds me of my mother; it is nothing that will take getting used too."

User Image The Gehaka could feel his heartstrings being tugged at, never suspecting that he was falling head over heels for Shinku. All he knew was that he wished to protect his new husband, to get to know him better...and perhaps even hold him like this more often. "I'm glad." He said quietly, still running his fingers through the silky stuff, enjoying the touch. "I do not believe he would be the same without his spirit...truthfully, I can't imagine him being quiet and without his will."
