"No." Not even remotely normal. Pey grimaced. "They started after my promotion, only every so often at first, then more frequently." She slid her free hand back through her bangs, sighing. "Now it's every night."

Growing pensive, America asked, "It is effecting you after you're up? Any like...blackouts? Time lost?"

And now Peyton looked worried as well. "Not as far as I'm aware. Why?"

Letting out a sigh, she gave Peyton a wry look, "Hunters? Nightmares that aren't the normal sort could always be..." A shrug, "Something else."
America looked down and jabbed at her carton. "I have stuff that can help you sleep, if you like. I don't use 'em much anyway, mostly just nap during the day."

"Right." She frowned, thinking. "No black outs, no time lost, nothing weird that I can think of." Just the same awful nightmare every night.
Peyton licked her spoon off, setting it on the bedside table before flopping down on her side and dragging the pillow Noah used closer. "What kind of stuff?"

"Ambien, Valium, pot too if it makes you sleepy. Some folks it doesn't. None of it something you want to rely on but..." Reaching out she brushed the hair away from Peyton's temple, "I don't think either of us are in for a nightmare free life. What we do and the things that are out there, soon as one nightmare starts to fade, 'nother's just waiting to take its place. Gotta do what we can, right?"
A small smile followed this less than optimistic view, "You can always stop by the house too, any hour."

"It's worth trying," she mused, eyes closing under that gentle touch. She could swing by the house, pick something up. Sleep aids sounded like a good idea in theory, but what if you still dreamed? What if you were were trapped in that dream, unable to wake up?
Reaching out, she slung an arm across one of America's legs. "Likewise, you're always welcome here." Especially now, when her room seemed so empty.

"Peyton, honey," America's voice turned serious. "There's something you need to know first. I..." She trailed off with a pained look, unable to meet the other girl's eyes. Taking a deep breath she finally just said it, "I'm a blanket hog."

Pale eyes opened, features sobered, and she sat up enough to catch America in a playful choke hold, dragging her down beside her. She then promptly smacked her friend in the face with another pillow.
"I'm little, I don't need a lot of blankets."

"Just don't want you to catch a chill." America had cold hands from holding that ice cream and she wasn't afraid to use them. Icy fingers went for the blonde's neck and the small of her back.

What followed was a high pitched shriek as Peyton made a made grab for either hand, shoulders hunching against the cold. "America!"
Twitching away, she grabbed pale wrists. "You fight ******** dirty."
