"Please stop all of you" Athene's voice was quiet as he looked around those gathered, his gaze including the small blue-haired girl in his words. "Yelling isn't getting us anywhere." His face was pale as he turned his attention towards the Lieutenant - the self same Lieutenant who had admitted that they had fed Ganymede a starseed, who had described Ganymede down to blonde hair and uniform... Had admitted that they'd tortured her.

"Please tell us where she is, where they are - all of them" his quiet voice was tired from his own part of spending too many long nights trying to search for those who'd been taking, in the follow up of what clues he could. "Or at least take us if you won't tell." His glanced towards the dead woman and then wished he hadn't, shifting his gaze back at the Lieutenant. "I know your side hates ours, but this - this isn't right." He continued, his gaze focused on the Lieutenant - the Lieutenant who for better or worse was currently their best shot of information. "And we can't stop searching - not when there's still a chance that they're still alive."

He tugged on the end of his braid before continuing "Wouldn't your friends and family be out here doing the same as us if you were the one taken?" He tugged absently on his braid again, gaze still on the Lieutenant as he once again said "Please help us find them."

He was slapped and his head jerked roughly, but he did not retaliate, instead he looked at the girl wide eyed and more tears leaked from his remorseful eyes. A broken soul, broken by the acts he committed on his own side for something he thought he believed in.

He reached out and touched the sailors cheek (Phact), threats yelled at him ignored for the moment. He looked to the other sailor, sporting a darker aura (Canopus). His ally, right ... but seems she was more their's. He was confused, but he drew back his hand, and nodded. There was no true understanding in his eyes not at all, just a rote movement as he rose and turned. He wasn't making a move to escape.

He looked confused as if trying to get his barring, like he wasn't sure where he was, before he lifted his finger and pointed. "For this I will die, but I deserve it. I'm sorry. They are there."

He pointed in the direction to the west, but towards the fairgrounds although they were quiet visible still a ways off.

In the next moment three arrows flew him narrowly skimming his clothes followed by three more and the aura of a general, a cat on his shoulder. Anyone near him was in the direct line of fire, to be hit by an arrow. Another round and he was grabbed by another and the three were gone.

The senshi were so close, closer still because of him. They were headed in the right direction, but another clue, the young lieutenant was likely dead. They needed to end this, how many more would lose their lives before this week was through.

This concludes clue three, clue 4 will be up tonight will be the final clue!

Palatine let out an angry cry as arrows rained down on the rooftop, narrowly jumping out of the way of another. Her cry was not made due to the sudden appearance of the arrows; she didn't have a mind for her own safety at the moment. She was angry that she'd not had her chance to go after the Lieutenant.

She watched dispassionately as he was taken away. She made no immediate move to follow, instead turning in the direction to which he'd pointed.

Still further west. That wasn't much to go off of, was it? Where exactly? What was in that area of town that could be used to hide several Senshi and Knights? Certainly not an office building of some sort. They'd never manage that, and in any case the further west they went, the fewer buildings there were. There was land out that way, but...

But they were closer now than they had been before. They could end this tonight if they were lucky.

Without waiting for any of the others to comment, Palatine jumped to the next rooftop and began the journey west.

Falias couldn't help but feel disappointed when the Lieutenant said that he didn't recognise the key although he wasn't willing to give up on it quite yet. After the Lieutenant had also said that he couldn't really see it, perhaps a side effect of the distance between him and the other and Falias was pretty sure that whatever the dropped key was that it was not the General's house key.

Perhaps a higher up... he found himself wondering to himself.

More threats were made to the Lieutenant, whilst one - the female Dark Mirror Super - tried to reason with the Lieutenant. One of the children, a blue-haired girl that he didn't recognise took that moment to scream at them and he gave her a look of annoyance.

He didn't say anything - after all enough people had spoken up without him adding in his two cents.

Another voice spoke up, this one a dark-haired eternal who surprisingly also seemed to be taking the tactics of trying to reason with the Lieutenant although Falias privately thought that the Eternal, like the Dark Mirror Super, was wasting their time.

For the moment he watched, watched and listened and was startled as the Lieutenant suddenly shifted...

But only it seemed to point in a western direction.

It happened so quickly, one minute the Lieutenant was pointing and the next someone was shooting arrows at them and there was a flare of a General level aura.

"s**t!"

And when the arrows had stopped the aura was gone, aura and Lieutenant both.

Oberon thought it was pretty obvious what was wrong with the woman, but he couldn’t bring himself to respond. Instead, he just shook his head at the girl he hadn’t met before, not sure what to say anyway. Everyone else was yelling about one thing or another, and all Oberon could think of was how his brother was missing.

That stupid idiot got himself taken and now they were out looking for him and the others and no one knew what they were doing and they were just yelling at each other, talking about killing the Lieutenant, and he just hated it all.

“My brother is missing too…” he said quietly, his hands balled up into fists. He didn’t care who heard him. All that mattered was that they should actually work together to figure this out. He was tired of all the fighting, both on their side and the others. He didn’t care for violence.

Even the chibi senshi were yelling at each other. He hated this. He hated feeling small and useless.

“I’m going after Palatine,” he called back to Perdita, dodging out of the way of the arrows that struck the lieutenant.

"s**t!" Glitnir blurted out a curse as an arrow whizzed past him. There was a flash of a large Chaos aura, and then it was gone, along with the lieutenant. Another source of information had been silenced, but this time it had not been entirely too late. They had received a direction: further west. They would be able to get closer than ever before, but how far west could they go before they ended up going too far? In any case, there was a more pressing matter on Glitnir's mind. "This girl... she needs to be given a proper burial, or at least given back to her family. I'm going to go help her her found." Carefully gathering up the girl's body, he jumped down from the building, making a beeline for the police station. He set her down on a nearby bench, powered down, and knocked on the door, trying to think of his best explanation for finding the body.

Megrez narrowly missed getting shot herself, being so close to the lieutenant. She said nothing when the pink-clad squire took her leave, or when the Mars Page took it upon himself to move the body. Good luck in the Space Cauldron, better luck next life, she thought to herself. Wordlessly, she followed Palatine west, hoping to spot something from above,

It happened entirely too fast for Iduna to really notice. The flare of chaotic energy behind her made her turn. The turn forced most of the arrows to fly past her. She watched as some landed into the now dead lieutenant. She watched as the general shot more arrows and took the dead body away.

Then white hot fire erupted in her left arm and she crumpled to the ground. It didn't quite register what it was that hurt but it hurt like nothing she'd ever experienced before. Her mother had a phase for it, that she wasn't allowed to say. The pain was so intense she almost couldn't breath, couldn't scream, couldn't vocalize it all except pathetic whimpers. The Chibi Senshi of Apples curled up into a ball, blood seeping from the arrow in her upper left arm onto her bodice and her skirts and into her hair.

This wasn't any better than the yelling. This wasn't any better than being thrown into another person. This was much, much worse. Iduna sobbed silently, wanting it all to stop. She wanted her brother here, she wanted people to stop fighting each other, she wanted the pain to stop.

Just stop already...

The chibi senshi fell unconscious a few minutes later, too much shock for her system to handle.

To the west, to the old fairgrounds. That fit the clues they had so far - a place beginning with the letter F, and a place to the west. That was plenty of confirmation for her, and it was all she needed out of this, and she would have been fully content to run and leave this fool of a Lieutenant and let him drown in his guilt, because she didn't care about him, all she cared about was making sure Hvergelmir got out of this alive and as well as possible, after a week in the Negaverse's custody being tortured.

She would have left, was already halfway turned to run, but then the arrows flew out of nowhere. (Well, maybe not that out of nowhere, there was a General's aura and then it was gone and the Lieutenant was gone but he was struck first and oh god, they were killing their own people, what would they do to their prisoners?) One sank into her left shoulder, one into her side, and she let out a cry of pain, stumbling back and sinking to her knees.

There were the answers he needed. Tantalus was already reaching for his mirror communicator to call Damocles - because if he didn't at least give his fiance a heads up before charging into a most assuredly horribly dangerous situation, he would be in a significant amount of trouble when he got home - but then there was a flicker of a General's aura and arrows flying, and he slung an arm around Canopus's waist to pull her out of the way. He ended up on the ground, but if neither of them got shot, it was worth it.

"Damn it," he swore, heart pounding. "Are you alright?"

He didn't wait for an answer to open up his communicator. "Damocles," he said into it, "I'll be heading to the fairgrounds west of town with a group of Order people. The Negaverse has some of theirs, and they're willing to kill their own to keep this operation secret."

An arrow pierced Perdita's capelet as it passed, but she managed to avoid a direct hit. She frowned severely as the Lieutenant was taken away. She was pretty sure she knew what was going to be happening to him as soon as the officers got back to wherever it was they were going.

But they had another clue. Further west. They were getting closer. She could feel it.

The sound of sobs nearby attracted her attention, and Perdita turned to see that the younger girl who'd been shouting earlier had been struck in the arm by one of the arrows. She tried to tell her to stay calm and hold still, but the girl passed out before Perdita could say anything. She felt oddly calm herself despite all the blood.

Oberon was moving off, following after Palatine, and Perdita was suddenly conflicted. She wanted to follow him and figure out where the Negaverse was hiding the captives, but she also felt bad for the little girl and didn't want to leave her. She was just a little kid in pain.

With a sigh, Haven called after Oberon. “I'll catch up with you! I'm going to stay with her and figure out a way to get her some help!”

Between the efforts of him and one of the senshi they were able to move the Squire off the Lieutenant, although it didn't seem like the latter was particularly grateful given that his response was to scream at all of them about how he hated them.

But he'd said other things before that too - about a blonde senshi that had been tortured - the same blonde who they'd fed the starseed of the dead woman to. He bristled more wanting more than ever to n** the Lieutenant and given the comments from the majority of the others gathered it seemed that he wasn't the only one.

There were three exceptions. The first a Dark Mirror Super senshi standing close to Tantalus and the Dark Mirror eternal that he'd spotted a few times over the week whilst doing his feline best to find information about those who had been taken, the second had a blue haired chibi who had yelled at everyone and the last? The last had been Athene himself.

Athene who had looked far too tired as like the Dark Mirror Super before him had pleaded with the Lieutenant for information.

But somehow it had worked - between one, the other or both it had worked with the Lieutenant pointing West like the red line on the torn and dirty map that he'd found earlier on in the week.

And then there was a sudden flare of a General level aura and someone was shooting at them, purplish eyes taking in what looked like a cat on a shoulder and Athene was yelling his name as an arrow came far, far too close - close enough for him to feel a slight breeze as it narrowly whizzed past his tail.

And then it was over and the General level aura was gone, the General level aura, cat and the Lieutenant three... And Athene was by him and reaching out to scoop him up.

"I'm okay" he told the dark-haired senshi. "He didn't get me" he looked at Athene. "But he was pointing West" adding. "And there was a General too - a General with a cat. You need to tell Thraen and Ash about this and the West" because first the map and then the Lieutenant - it couldn't be a coincidence - at least Liryn didn't think it was.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Athene nodded at Liryn as he stared shakily at the bobtail who was one day going to be the death of him given his perchance of finding trouble and then he summoned his senshi phone.

The message was typed out as quickly as he could:

SMS Ash; SMS Thraen:

Hi Both,

No sign of the those that they took in this part of the city however Liryn and I came across a Lieutenant. He had a dead body - one of those taken - but some of them are still alive. I don't know how many.

He was going to tell us where they are holding them, but a General teleported in, took him before he could finish.

He was pointing West though and I can just about see what looks like some sort of fairground from where I am. Do you think that that might be the 'FFF' that the hotel woman that Liryn talked to was trying to mention?

I'm going to head in that direction anyway and see if Liryn and I can find out anything more.

Athene

Sarras wasn't too surprised by the soft heartedness of some of the senshi and knights there, but he was surprised in just how much vigor a Chibi senshi held. He didn't phase easily when someone hollered at him, but he couldn't help but feel slightly unnerved when the Chibi senshi with the blue hair started screaming. He felt little shame, though, in what she said, simply taken back by her ferocity, and not taken aback for long.

Not that it mattered. He considered telling her to mind her own business, but then, the lieutenant spoke up, and the arrows came raining down. What stopped Sarras from panicking was the sight of said senshi taking an arrow, and without thinking, he jumped over the lieutenant's form and rushed to grab Iduna, forcing himself to focus on her hair and her capelet, or else he might be sucked into the crippling fear that always threatened to consume him when danger struck so suddenly. Perhaps this was why he missed the General was swooped in and took the lieutenant...

"We're gettin' out of here, little lady!" Sarras said, grabbing Iduna's form and trying to remind himself that this was a child, not a deer or other game creature, avoiding pushing the arrow any deeper though it was hard to position her thanks to it. "Hang on... like hell I'm gonna let a kid go down with a ********' lieutenant."

[[Sarras exit]]

Canopus wasn't expecting her words to matter, and maybe they didn't. The lieutenant's common sense could have easily kicked in, or maybe his guilt was simply too much for him to handle. Whatever the reason, she was relieved to see him give in, looking towards the area he pointed at, though her breath hung in her breath as the moment she looked at him, arrows rained from the sky!

She felt someone grab her and pull her away, but there was hardly a need to panic, as the voice that whispered in her ear chased away any fear that it was the General or any Negaverse officer that had tried to snatch her. Thanks to Tantalus' efforts, they managed to get clear of the danger, but she knew that others weren't so lucky. She told herself that she'd be strong- if she could beg with a lieutenant of an organization she despised herself and stand among members of a court that were meant to be her enemies, then surely she could have risen up and jumped into the fray.

But her muscles locked up, and all she could do was mutter softly, clinging to Tantalus and burying her face into his garments. "I'm... I'm okay..."

But for how long? She remained silent and remained in her shell-shocked state, the tears returning with force. She was so useless... always so useless.

Mimisbrunnr pushed herself off the ground, glaring in the direction of the fairgrounds. She grabbed the arrow in her shoulder first, and yanked, tearing it out. Then, she got the one in her side. It was stupid, and she had probably injured herself worse, and she was now definitely bleeding when she hadn't been as much before, but she didn't care.

She leapt off the roof and took off towards the fairgrounds.

[[Mimisbrunnr exit!]]

Tantalus stood up, slowly, still holding on to Canopus. "Are you alright to go forward?" He asked, his voice gentle. "I'm going, but you don't have to follow." He let go, carefully, and then looked out towards the fairgrounds.

That was where he needed to be, and he headed off.

Phact did not move from the touch of the agent. Instead, she kept her eyes locked on him for as much as she could through the tears. The woman hadn't even been listening to the others as she watched him stand and point west.

The fair grounds? Could it have been so simple?

And then the chaos started.

Her proximity to the man cost her as the first wave of arrows left one finding home in her left arm. The arrow sunk into her left bicep causing the woman to scream out in pain. This is why she avoided these things normally. However, one was more than enough as she rolled out of the way of the others.

By the time she looked up again, everything was still. The agent was gone.

One by one she watched the others leave but she could not. Not until Sidouer got there. Thus instead, arm bleeding at her side, Phact walked to the edge of the building and stood, facing the western sky and waited.

Rooftops she said... yeah right... Sidouer rolled her eyes half annoyed that Phact wasn't where she said she'd be. Pausing for a moment she glanced around the near empty streets as an updraft from the breeze that weaved through the buildings danced with her hair, tangling it further in an unruly mess.

Slightly frustrated she tugged on the ends of the ribbons that tied her hair up into two buns and and let her hair fly free before splitting it into three sections and tying it into a haphazard braid. If a fight was on the horizon it would be best if her ability to fight was not hindered by her inability to see.

At least she was right about one thing, there were several signatures for which lead the way to where she assumed the Senshi of Doves had flown to.

Once ready Sidouer drew in a deep breath and without hesitation jumped from her perch onto the adjacent building to where the cluster of signatures converged. Upon arrival she slowed her pace noting the prone form of a young woman in a dress; hair matted from days of unknown horrors, and though she could not or rather chose not to look at the girls face, she knew with certainty that the woman did not go peacefully.

"Phact..." Slowly she approached the woman from behind distracted the blood that ran in rivulets down her left arm staining her gloves a crimson hue. "Is it..." she stopped herself from finishing the question though the implications were clear; was that girl the one they were searching for?
