That Green Gentleman Anon "Some people think old stuff is treasure." She whispered conspiratorially to Orrin. The gentleman's practical if somewhat bent view of the world was always intelligent in it's own way. Even if it did tend to leave the poor man ill equipped to deal with society. "No, I came looking for you. I brought pie. Hunting for treasure rumored to be of phenomenal cosmic power sounds like asking for trouble."

Orrin was seriously questioning the sanity of these "some people". Did they not know that old stuff was literally everywhere. The fairgrounds alone were a perfect example. Luckily, Minty was a clever lady, and knew precisely what real treasure was. "F-f-for m-me...? W-w-with pie...?" His eyes had that spark in them that somehow only seemed to appear when sweets were mentioned, as he gave her a rather loving look.

That Green Gentleman Anon "For you! With pie!" She nodded, offering over the sweet treat, "When you didn't come by for it, I got worried about you."

The green man happily grabbed and hugged the container, and made sure to hide a little deeper into his pie, just in case one of those creepy treasure hunters were about to spot the actual treasure. Because it was his now. All his. They could keep their old stuff to themselves, but they better not try to touch his pie! "W-wo-worried...? Why...? I-I wasn't d-do-doing any-th-thing b-b-bad..." He couldn't really see any other reason to worry.

That Green Gentleman Anon "Don't you ever worry about people when they're not around?" Minty watched her container disappear into the pile of toys. It seemed doubtful she'd ever see it again. Oh well. What's a bit of Tupperware between friends?

River blinked at Falinn's comment and shook her head. "Monster s-said we were g-g-going to get l-l-lots of ch-chilli dogs!" Not that the mermaid was in it for a reward. Being the helpful little thing that she was, she just wanted to help out.
She looked around as Falinn surveyed the area, apparently assessing as to where the treasure might be hidden. Although she didn't seem to have a very conclusive idea. That meant they'd have a lot of ground to cover...in the dark and scary fair grounds... River shivered slightly, but tried to shake off such thoughts. "L-let s-start s-somewhere not s-scary, then..."((Yes~ The matching headphones are adorable. <3))

"Yeah! Chili dogs! ...At least that's what I'm gonna use the reward money on." Risking life and limb for chili dog money? Seemed a little much... then again this was the hedgehog who sold his soul for a chili dog. (No he will never live that down.) He sighed at all the possible places Falinn guessed at, unsure of where to start searching. ...The least scary place? In a spooky old fairgrounds? Is there even a 'least scary' thing here? "...I guess the booths with the stuffed animals aren't that scary, let's start there." ( Mystery squad bond as strong as our matching outfit game. <3 )

Orrin took a moment to consider this. But try as he may, he could not think of a single time he had worried about a person not being around him. "It's u-usually s-sa-safer n-no-not t-to be a-r-round...", he mumbled, scratching his head. "I... I-I do worry a... A-b-b-bout Pu-puppy, though..."

That Green Gentleman Anon "Puppy?" Minty's voice was filled with concern and Orrin had her full attention, potentially missing pets were no light matter, "Who is Puppy? Do you need help looking for them?"

"Pu-puppy...? He's my... M-m-my dog..." If zombies could blush, he would. He had never really meant to name the poor pooch such a silly thing, but it just sort of happened anyway, as things often did when he was around. "B-b-but he's not l-lost... I-I d-don't think so... He u-usually f-f-finds m-me when I a-am, thoug..." Who was really the lost pet, here? One might never know for sure...

That Green Gentleman Anon "He doesn't come out adventuring with you?" The idea that if Puppy wasn't lost and Puppy wasn't here it implied that Orrin actually had a home was starting to penetrate Minty's skull when a sound pricked her ears, "Did you hear that? It sounds like some of the treasure hunters are coming closer. Can I hide with you? They might be dangerous."

"S-so-some-t-times... I... I thi-th-think he has his o-own-" Orrin suddenly stopped. Yes, he did hear that too. He was frightened enough as it were, and the brave Minty claiming that there might be danger wasn't helping either. So he quickly grabbed her arm and dragged her into the fluffy pile, without saying another word.

"The Sonics place I mentioned has chilidogs..." The thief's words are a distracted mumble as she tried to figure out the best way to search the abandoned park. She lets out a frustrated sigh, "Either of you got a map of this place? Would make searching easier."

"Do ya always start to glow when ya peer around corners at people?" The werewolf murmurs into the magical girls ear, peering over her shoulder curiously. Why was Gwen here? Well, it wasn't for the astrolab thing, girl doesn't pay attention to the news except around full moons.

Scythes, Watermelon, and Flowing Breezes. These are the things that bring me Joy. Xashowd and Thanaphyr continued making their way towards the Haunted House. It was creeping into sight when Thanaphyr stopped and sniffed the air. " I smell...Pink." He stated, Xashowd raising an eyebrow at the remark. " Colors have a smell?" Thanaphyr nodded. " Sorta. Auras have scents, and we Reaplings can pick up auras since it helps us find Souls as part of the job. Some Auras are intensely a single color, though it's not very common." Xashowd looked around and took a whiff. He didn't smell anything odd, or at least he didn't smell anything that made him think Pink. He did smell another familiar scent though...The female Werewolf they'd met a few times. Xashowd told the floating Reapling as much. " SWEET! Maybe now we can find out her name!" Momentarily forgetting the pink scent on his quest for knowledge, Thanaphyr floated around calling out for the werewolf. " Hellooooo! Lady Werewolf Chick? Can you please tell me your name so I know what to call you?" Xashowd chuckled, unsure if Thanaphyr's attempts would work or merely irritate the woman. He looked back towards the Haunted House and recalled the wind's information. There weren't any other entities near the house, and it wasn't going anywhere. They could take a short detour. He looked towards Thanaphyr as he floated around looking for their lupine acquaintance. Since the Reapling had smelled a different scent, that meant a fourth party was nearby. He didn't know anyone who was Pink though, so if it was a guild member he was unsure who it could be. He figured introductions would be in order if they met. Par for the course considering the occupation he was training for. I am Xashowd, the Nocturne Zephyr!
