Things had happened to fast - one minute the General had been over by the flame-spined youma and the next he was threatening the two chibis.
Liryn bristled, the jade of his star sparking, the small tabby bobtail perfectly prepared to send a kitty beam in the General's direction despite the cost... And then the pink clad Squire confronted him, followed by an earth Squire. Two more Squires followed along with two super senshi and Liryn was worried that if he tried to hit the Nega General then he'd end up hitting one of the six by accident.
So he turned his attention to the youma, some of whom seemed to be attacking a black haired Page with scales.
It looked like he had dusted one, but another one had attacked, managed to knock him over.
Liryn had seen enough and charged towards the youma his intention to swipe at the thing with his claws once he was close enough.

It was no use trying to avoid the fire by attacking from a certain direction. This youma was blazing and dangerous from every angle. Cybele leaped back when it spat fire in her direction, but flames still rushed dangerously close to her, singing her ribbons and parts of her skin. Hissing in pain, she backed up a few more steps. She was no match for this thing, at least not alone, and while there were plenty of people around, they were all just yelling at others to fight the youma while swarming the general with threats of death… interrogation… torture…
Something was going on, but she didn’t have time to think about any of that right now. She backed up, her eyes still locked on the youma in case it decided to try to fry her again. There was an increase in the protests she heard, so she risked a glance behind her, and what she saw made the uneasy knot in her stomach tighten. He was holding two senshi, and what seemed like everyone else was trying to attack him at once. She quickly turned back around. The last thing they needed were youma tearing them apart from behind.
That was when she noticed the knight on the ground nearby (Glitnir), and the familiar looking cat trying to help (Liryn). So she wasn’t the only one trying to fight the youma, and failing. Maybe if she helped them they would help her? She ran towards them, preparing to kick the youma off of the knight with the fairly sharp heels of her shoes.

Despite the easy grin on her face, Chariklo's sunset eyes were snapping with fire. Of course he targeted the kids. Of course. Par for the course. ********. Well, if she had to use her magic, at least the brunt of it would fall on the General. Sure, the kids would end up a bit bruised and dazed, but hey! That was preferable to very dead in her books. Better though if she could make him mad, get him to react, maybe loosen his grip.
"What alliance?" she asked with a poisoned sweetness. "I haven't got an alliance with you twats, thanks. See, I prefer to have the backs of folks who aren't a lot of ball-less, gutless cowards like yourself. People who don't get their jollies from murdering kids and innocent folk. I decided who my kind were back on Avalon. And it ain't you. Mobbing Cry!"
Hard on the heels of her magic, she was lunging for the General, praying that the magic would unbalance him enough to not even think of teleporting off with the kids. Just let her be fast enough to get hold of the kids and get them away...

The general ignored the blonde knight (Palatine) in favor of listening to the feisty little chibi (Perdita). "You want to go, do you? Fancy a little game of 20 questions. I ask and you answer ... or a beat you until you do. Hmmmm, I don't know. Maybe I'll just kill you instead." He laughed at the boys words (Oberon), "I would sooner gut you that piss my pants."
He frowned at the knight wielding flowers (Falias) and rolled his eyes. "Let the go, let them go," he mocked. He felt this light mongers were pathetic. He was threatening the chibis and they were just like let them go.
When the arrow went soaring towards them, which chibis in hand, he simply hoisted them up more fully to help shield himself. The arrow didn't hit him, but he could care less if it hit one of the chibis. With the fluffy squire (Mimi) charging at him, the gladiator (Andronicus) swinging her mace, followed by Megrez. "Tut tut," she spouted and prepared to teleport and made to.
He was, struck with a magical attack just before he disappeared which served to disorientate him and instead of teleporting away, he ended up back with his personal youma. And he growled as the images bombarded him, his gripping tightening on the chibis, nails digging into skin and fabric.
The dark mirror (Chariklo), words were hard to focus on, but her attack came through clear enough and he jumped to avoid it with much difficulty because of the extra weight. "Idiots," he growled, "next time you ought to heed my warning."
"Lets see how long these two last with the others and remember this is your fault." He teleported away with the chibis, landing back in the city's main park no longer on the outskirts, but within. He wasn't sure what to do with the pair of chibi senshi. Even being a general, even with them being in this war and fighting, he wasn't sure if he took them with them it would be well received.
He left behind the youma. He knew they would likely be dusted, but they would regenerate in the rift, so he wasn't overly concerned. He'd just be dealing with a ornery youma in Fyre for a while. He dropped the chibis summoning his weapon and turning it on them before sticking his hand in his pocket and realizing he lost something. Where were the keys? He frowned deeply, but going back there was not an option.
Back on with the youma, on the ground where he grabbed the chibis was a key labeled F with another letter that was illegible and what looked like a muddy and torn raffle ticket. Clues to the whereabouts of captured?
If anyone happens to be close to the dead civilian it could be noted he was lying on top of a map. Muddy and torn, it doesn't look like it would be much help, but there is a red line among the mud and tears, going west. He was murdered for something. Did that mean the captured were west? Three more clue, but what could they lead to?
One thing is for sure. You are in the right ball park.
This concludes clue two. It should be counted as a battle. You may dust the youma and find the clues and possibly try to figure it out. There will be two more clue released, before the rescue.

Perdita was unprepared for the barrage of attacks that followed. She squeezed her eyes shut and brought her arms over her head for protection, but by the time it was over she was a little worse for wear. One attack in particular hit her while the General was using her as a shield—a plasma-like arrow.
Disoriented and overcome by a sense that she knew what was happening, she nonetheless failed to realize that they'd teleport until she opened her eyes and saw that they were back in the park from the other night. Perdita looked around in mild confusion. Was this where the captives were being held after all? Or was it that the General had never had any intention of taking her or Oberon there, and had simply come out here to dispose of them?
But she felt like she was on the verge of an epiphany. It was like the cosmos was whispering its secrets to her, nudging her along in the right direction. But the longer she considered it, the more she realized she didn't know what exactly it was that she was suddenly supposed to know, and as the sensation faded she eventually forgot all about it, and determined the strange feeling she'd had must have been a result of all those attacks being thrown in her direction at once.
“What are we doing here?” she demanded of the General, struggling to free herself. “You said you were going to take us to the others. You liar! This is just a park. There's no one here!”
She could not pretend, however, that she wasn't mildly relieved. Despite her curiosity and her show of bravado, she'd not been too excited to see exactly what the captured Senshi and Knights were going through.
“Let go of me!”

The round youma uncurled into a rodent-like creature and squeaked upon being scratched with cat claws. Cybele's kick sent the youma flying, enabling Glitnir to finally get to his feet and stay there. "Thanks, guys!" He looked from the cat to the senshi to the direction where the youma flew in and back to his helpers. "I think that little guy will take a bit to crawl back. Maybe we should handle the big guy? I can only fight up close, so I don't know how much help I'll be, but I'll try."
Once Glitnir had finished cleaning up the youma, he wandered the area to make sure nothing else suspicious was going on. When he found nothing else, he went home hoping he hadn't missed something.
Megrez skidded to a stop when the General teleported away. "NO!" She frantically looked around, trying to see if she could see where the General had gone with the children. "We have to go look for them! Did anyone know the names of those chibis, or have them or their phones?"
No matter how had she looked, Megrez would not find the chibi senshis. She only went home that night to avoid passing out in the street.
At the General's words Falias tried to call on his magic as he had once before, even as two of the Squires and a Super senshi lunged at him.
The General was too quick for all of them however and teleported out, taking the two kids.
Making a frustrated sound Falias moved forward eyes bleak and then frowned as a glint on the ground caught his attention,
Hang on what's this?
'This' turned out to be key and besides it some sort of ticket.
It was muddy and torn, but it looked like some sort of raffle ticket and unless the key had been dropped by one of the kids then it left that General.
He was betting on the latter himself.
A growl caught his attention, reminded him that the youma were still there even if the General was not and so he scooped up both the ticket and key slipping them into his pocket with the intention of focusing on them later.
