Andronicus pulled off her cloak to press it to the wound. It let the entire world see the burn across her back, but at that point she didn't quite care. She was paying more attention to the civilian dying in her arms. Pink Prince (Sarras) was trying to ease her pain - helpful, though not a proper healing. One of the other knights (Mimisbrunnur) started asking about Dark Mirror senshi, and added her hood to the pile of slowly bloodying fabric.
Her memory flickered names across the tip of her tongue, names she'd worked with in the future, and names she knew of in the present. The fell from her lips as she kept pressure on the wound. She nodded at the talking cat briefly.
"Remarque, Loke, Leto. If you contact Sailor Acubens, provided she's still kicking, she's got contacts with the royals who can connect you to anyone else, I think. Could be wrong, haven't seen the raptor senshi in a long while," she glanced up at the only senshi who wasn't really doing anything (Chaldene). "Oi, if yer gunna fawn over knight magic, all an ambulance why don't you? If you really want to run off, I'll stay here with her until they get here."
Bystander effect in full swing with that one.

Chariklo hadn't had a clear goal in mind when she'd gone out. Power up, find her friends was about the extent of it. She'd tried to get back to the hotel, but the swarm of police and repair crews had warned her off. After that, she was at something of a loss.
At least until she felt the massing of Order auras in the park. Racing towards the energy signatures, she wondered if it had anything to do with the masquerade ball. Maybe they'd found everyone? Hope welled up for a moment before crashing. No, she couldn't sense any Negaverse. So much for that.
Upon reaching the park, she hunted until she felt as if she were being walloped upside the head with Order energy. And there, finally, was a group of Knights and senshi clustered around someone lying on the ground. Approaching slowly, hands held out to show she meant no harm, the tall Dark Mirror was able to recognize at least one of the gathered. The knight in pink.
"You were on Avalon with me," she murmured. The rest were nameless faces to her for now. But maybe not for long. Eyes flickered to the girl on the ground and she winced. Not so far away lay a discarded mask and Chariklo felt the sudden need for a steadying influence.
"Was she at the hotel?" she demanded softly. "Please, I need to know. Those ffff..." her gaze landed on the chibi and she did a mental backpedal, trying to keep better rein of her tongue. "They took Hver. Please. They took my friend."
Another voice spoke up and Liryn realised that there was another knight by the civilian woman, the three names she mentioned were unfamiliar however. A part of him thought her sharp tone was unnecessary however before he could say anything, he picked up on another aura.
Chaotic like Tantalus' aura, but stronger much stronger than the basic senshi he remembered.
It seemed like a Dark Mirror senshi was heading their way after all.
The dark wings along with the aura marked her as an eternal and for a moment Liryn could only stare at her, his purplish eyes startled because for a moment it felt like she was familiar from somewhere, almost as if they'd been acquaintances somewhere. No that wasn't it, it...
Then she was speaking to a pink clad Squire (Palentine) and the flash of whatever it was, was gone.
"You're a Dark Mirror senshi right" he said to her, his purplish eyes serious as he looked from her back to the civilian. "There was a knife and she's hurt bad." He looked back at the Dark Mirror Eternal as he added "Can you help her? She needs a hospital and the Mercury Squire says that your Court can go through mirrors." Well at least it was somewhat close enough to what the Mercury Squire had said.

Palatine did not immediately recognize the Dark Mirror Senshi that arrived, so distracted was she by what was happening around her. The mention of Avalon, however, seemed to jog her memory. Right, this one had been there. Hadn't they turned against the Negaverse to fight on their side? Could they be trusted? The others seemed to think they could. But Palatine couldn't get over the feel of the woman's chaotic aura.
“They have my kid,” she said, like that trumped kidnaping someone's friend.
It did in Palatine's eyes.
“Wait.”
Everything was happening too quickly. One minute they were getting information, and the next the civilian was on the ground potentially bleeding to death from a wound to the back. Talk about some s**t luck.
How had they not sensed anyone else in the area? Obviously whoever had thrown the dagger at the girl had been an officer of the Negaverse. Shouldn't they have noticed? Shouldn't they have felt him? Or did they have ways to mask their powers the way Senshi did?
In the confusion of the moment and her own anger Palatine almost forgot she could potentially be useful.
“Wait,” she said again. She summoned her tea pot from subspace. “This should help a little.”
Not a lot. It wasn't going to completely heal the poor girl, but it should be enough to help her hold on until she could be seen by a doctor. Carefully Palatine approached the civilian and pour warm tea onto her wound. The wound didn't close, but the flow of blood slowed noticeably.

Perdita was horrified. She almost screamed when the poor civilian girl was stabbed, but brought a hand up to cup around her mouth in terror instead. Teal eyes flicked around to try to find the source of the dagger, but whoever it was must have vanished as quickly as their weapon had.
After a few deep breaths, Perdita had control over herself and separated from the group seeing to the civilian in order to search the area for any sign of danger. She didn't sense anything that would alert her to the presence of a Negaverse agent. Had they really gone so quickly? Had they been there the whole time and they just hadn't noticed? Or had an agent merely stumbled upon the scene, realized what was happening, and taken matters into their own hands?
“I don't see anyone,” Perdita said when she returned to the group. “They either left already or they're concealing their aura.”
By the time she'd returned, a curious looking Senshi (Chariklo) had just arrived. Perdita stared at her, less because of how she looked and more because of how she felt. During the battle at the hotel, it had been difficult for her, new Senshi that she was, to pick out individual orders. She'd simply felt a large portion of order being matched by a larger portion of Chaos. Had she been able to distinguish between them further, she might have felt this woman's aura before. Instead, it came across as entirely new.
Only it wasn't so new, was it? She might not have felt it before, but she'd at least met someone like this woman before she'd even become a Senshi. She recognized certain aspects of the woman's uniform.
“You're like Avior,” she said. “You don't have to watch your language around me. I'm not a kid. I'm fourteen. I've heard worse at school.”

Lucasta arrived late.
Because she arrived late, she arrived angry. Being late was unacceptable, especially with such a large group of order signatures attracting attention. They'd need a couple of guardian cats to keep their auras masked, and here she'd almost fallen asleep on the job.
Figuratively. She hadn't literally fallen asleep. That would be despicable. But she'd perhaps not approached the scene with the swiftness the situation deserved. If she'd been there sooner, perhaps things wouldn't have unfolded the way they did.
She arrived to see a group of Senshi and Knights, a cat, and a Dark Mirror Senshi. Lucasta bristled at the first sense of the chaotic aura, but as it didn't seem as if the Dark Mirror Senshi was in the midst of staging an attack (how could she when she was so severely outnumbered?), Lucasta did not immediately launch herself at the Senshi's ankles. She did glare, though, her large eyes narrowing in warning.
“What on Earth is going on here?” she asked as a way of announcing her presence.
There was an injured civilian bleeding from a wound to the back. Lucasta approached to sniff at her a moment just incase she turned out to be dangerous, but there wasn't anything about her that seemed unordinary aside from the fact that she was in the midst of a group of powered individuals and looked to have been stabbed.

Startled by the knights words he turned his green eyes on them and blinked. "I'm not fawning. I've simply never seen knight magic and haven't a clue what it can and can't do." He stated with a shake of his head. Pulling out the phone he carried, his senshi one, and stared at it a moment. "I don't think I can exactly call an ambulance with this and I was merely thinking that somehow we have to stay with her but also not be cause or seen with her when help arrives." The ambulance crew might think they'd done this or who knows what else, it wouldn't look good for them without a double. Even if they explained things, honestly, they were unlikely to be believed or trusted.
"The only safe thing would be for us to all power down when the ambulance arrives. So we can stay with her, keep her safe, but also not be blamed for it." He added after a moment before racking his fingers through his dark hair.
"I'll go power down and use my normal phone to make the call." Why had no one else done that? With that said he did just that - took off for a small grouping of trees so he could power down and use his civilian cell phone to make the 911 call for help. He made sure to leave out anything about vanishing knives, a knife in the back, senshi, and knights. He claimed he and others had simply found the woman laying face down on the ground bleeding and in need of help.
Once he'd hung up he returned, powered up again, he really didn't want to share his civilian life, identity, with these people. He wanted to keep both parts of his life as separate as he could, which was a hard thing to do at times but possible mostly. "They are sending an ambulance." He stated simply.

The efforts if the night did not go unrewarded. With the nectar and the tea she seemed to relax slightly. Maybe she was in less pain, but she wasn't waking, even as more people gathered around.
All that could be done now was to think about the information she gave. Clearly she knew where the captured were and she tried to tell them and almost died for it. What had she said, telling them to go. If they were to go, this area wasn't likely the place to search.
At the very least she confirmed that captured were indeed alive, but for how long. It might be a good idea to try to talk to the attendees and workers at the ball, maybe someone heard what she did. Many of them are where this girl will end up, but will they talk.
Or hadn't she mentioned a negaverser in black and some shade of red. Maybe if you were to find him it would yield some more clues.
Sirens blared as the approaching ambulance closed in on the park. This situation does exactly look very good, maybe its time to disperse.
They had been distant at first, however it hadn't taken long for the wail of siren to get closer and closer.
He looked round at the group, his purplish eyes curious as they landed on the mauvian with ruddy coloured fur and copper eyes that had appeared asking - well make that more demanded - to know what was going on.
"I can stay and watch the lady if you need to go" he said, adding. "At least until to hospital-taking people come." It would be easy for him to slip away at that point - just another cat - and he was fully capable of using his claws in case of trouble breaking out before then.
He looked back at the other mauvian, the other not one that he'd seen before as he added "And there was a party yesterday - one where the Negaverse took our people - this lady was trying to help, trying to tell us things - but then there was this dagger and she got hurt real bad" he continued, simply "I think it was the Negaverse" before adding, voice serious "But I can give you a rundown if you want" at least he could once it was all over and the chance of non-powered people overhearing was gone. "I've been here pretty much for everything said" here but quiet.

When the knight mentioned that it had been her child taken rather than a friend, Chariklo looked stricken. And vaguely green. Swallowing hard, she tried to think of something to say, something that would express just how very sorry she was for everything, even if this particular nightmare was none of her doing.
Closing her eyes, she knelt by the injured girl and brushed her fingertips lightly against the girl's cheek. Poor, little thing. Chariklo didn't know what she'd said, but clearly it had been something no one had wanted to have known. Glancing up to the long haired male senshi, she shrugged apologetically.
"We can only travel to mirrors we know. And while I've been in the hospital before, I never noted any mirrors big enough to walk through. I'm so sorry, but in this instance I'm not much use."
Unspoken went her belief that in spite of the help already rendered, this poor girl was going to die no matter what they did. And that thought was enough to make her jaw clench. ******** Negaverse. It all boiled down to them and their sickening, consuming evil. Evil that she, at least in part, was party to.
Turnign to the chibi, she managed a wan smile and had to resist the urge to gather the girl close and hug the hell out of her.
"Still gonna try to watch my language, kid. What if you weren't fourteen and hadn't already heard worse, hrmm? And yes," she agreed cautiously because her memories of Avior were decidedly unflattering, "I suppose I am in terms of energy signatures. That is about where our similarities end."
She wished she'd heard what the civilian had said that had wanted a knife in her back. HEll, she wished she could have put a stop to this at the party. The approaching sirens were getting louder and she wasn't entirely sure what to do. Glancing at the cats and then at the rest of the assembled people, she decided that for now, she'd stick witg them and maybe in the process find some form of absolution for what she was.
"I want to help you guys," she whispered earnestly. "Please let me help. Losing a friend isn't on the same level as losing a child and I'll be the first to admit it, but non one should lose either in such a way. Let me help."
Glitnir had been lurking towards the outskirts of the group, watching and listening carefully. The gist seemed to be that the Negaverse agents present at the party had received orders to capture, not to kill. Something funny was going on. Did the Negaverse have something worse than death planned for the captured? Experimentation, maybe? In any case, they needed the captured alive for some reason that would most likely be diabolical. A lot was happening now, and he was looking from Knight to Knight to senshi to that Dark Mirror and back to the Knights. A familiar name was dropped: Mimisbrunnr. He remembered meeting with her to exchange information once in that vision. Of course, he was in civilian form then, so she wouldn't recognize him as Glitnir. He really wanted to chat up all these new Knights, get their names and perhaps patrol with them sometime, do a little networking. Of course, there wasn't really any time for that; if he would be able to do that at all, he'd have to do it while looking for clues. People seemed to be clumping around others they knew, which might lead to fracturing of any plans, and he felt that a unified front would be strongest in this case (but what did he know about tactics?). "Uh, hey, guys? I think we need to make a plan for what we're going to do next. I think we should work together on this." He didn't really expect anyone to pay much attention to him, since he was but an inexperienced Page and there were Squires and Supers and Eternals there, but it was worth a shot.
Everyone seemed to be too wrapped up in their own business to pay much heed to him. When Glitnir left the park that night, it was with a head full of confusion. He had received an incomplete clue to the mystery of the captured people, and it wasn't much to go off of. All he could do at this point was keep patrolling and inquire where he could.
Megrez had been in a daze as the woman gave her information and then paid for it dearly with a dagger to the back. "Sh-s**t," she said, still hoarse. So people had been taken somewhere, but the possible informant was conveniently killed before she could reveal the location. That meant that the people were still alive, probably, but time was of the essence, and that meant looking for more information. Nonetheless, she finally took a look at the (dying?) woman, then at the crowd assembled around her, and her focus zeroed in on two faces. First off, the shithead (sorry, Chaldene) was there, though he hadn't paid her much mind, which was something of a relief. She was not in the mood to explain her breakdown from earlier and how badly she had wanted to visit great violence on the Corrupt that had captured Penthesilea. The second face was more important: Chariklo. Chariklo was here, and she was real. She wasn't a Princess now, but her presence in Megrez's mind was distinctive. Megrez remembered getting screamed at over attacking Dark Mirrors very, very clearly. Though there wasn't much time, perhaps she could get some explanations from the Dark Mirror if they looked around together (if Chariklo let her come anywhere near her). "Cha... Chariklo," she said, as though saying the name would curse her. "You helped us 'then.' I'm happy to see you want to help us now."
There wasn't much left to do. Megrez went home after the event, thinking she could just rest her overstressed body for a bit, but she did not sleep well. Disturbing plans were in motion, and she would not be able to rest till she could find where the captives were.

The sound of sirens blared from a distance, drawing closer by the second.
“We've done all we can for now,” she said to no one in particular. Perhaps she was speaking to all of them; perhaps she simply said it for her own benefit. It would be difficult for anyone to say by the tone of her voice. She looked at no one but the injured hotel working, clenching her hands into fists by her sides and reaching out with her senses in an attempt to find any trace of the Negaverse officer responsible.
She felt nothing. Just the moderate collection of Order signatures around her. Quietly she cursed to herself and considered her options. There was nothing more she could do without further information, and no possible way to gain that information without questioning the proper people. Hotel workers alone couldn't be depended upon. They couldn't possibly understand the intricacies of the war, nor was it advisable for them to try if they were going to end up with a dagger in the back every time.
What they needed was inside information.
“Enough of this,” she muttered to herself.
The rest had the civilian covered. An ambulance would arrive soon to transport her to the hospital, and with a bit of luck she'd make a full recovery. But they'd gotten as much information out of her as they were going to get.
It was time to move on.
With that thought in mind, Palatine turned on her heel and, without another word to those gathered around the hapless civilian, took off into the night.

Perdita continued to observe the woman who reminded her of Avior, more perturbed that the woman seemed intent to mind herself around Perdita when she might not do so around older Senshi, like Perdita was little more than a kid.
Of course, she was little more than a kid, but that didn't mean she wanted to be treated like one. With a little bit of practice, Perdita knew she could fight as well as any adult Senshi. It was her firm belief that the universe wouldn't have decided that it was time for her to awaken unless she had the skills and potential to handle the war. Otherwise it made no sense for anyone her age—or younger—to be involved.
Not that any of this made much sense to her yet, new as she was, but the key parts of it she understood fairly well. The Negaverse wanted the Senshi gone. Why? She was still working that part out.
In any case, it seemed the current gathering was winding down. With the ambulance on its way, Perdita didn't see much reason for her to stay. In fact, it would probably be best for her to get out of there quickly. A child she might not longer be, but someone of her youth being out so late in the evening would certainly look suspicious.
Heaving a sigh, Perdita spared one last glance for the poor civilian. As she turned to begin her journey back home, Perdita wondered what sort of things awaited her in the not-too-distant future.

Curiously, Lucasta examined the injured human girl but found nothing of interest about her aside from the wound on her back. That she had been about to share a piece of vital information before having a dagger lodged into her intrigued Lucasta more than the girl's eventual fate.
“I would appreciate a recounting of the evening's events, yes,” she said to the other Mauvian.
It was her first time encountering another like herself. Before now, the only felines she'd come across had been unremarkable street cats. This Mauvian was striped gray and wore a collar around the neck, with additional jewelry upon his tail and paw. He seemed quite young to Lucasta, but being that he was no ordinary cat she chose to deem him reliable enough nonetheless.
Lucasta showed none of the relief or excitement someone else in her position might have demonstrated. That she was no longer fated to solitude changed her overall demeanor no more that the thought of being alone had. She had a duty to uphold. Her feelings did not matter so long as there was a job to be done.
“Very well,” she agreed, and resigned herself to waiting with the other guardian for the screaming vehicle to arrive.
Then she would have her answers, and with any luck they would be able to devise some sort of a plan.
