When Cressida asked what he had in mind, his eyes lit up further, but he didn't laugh. All things considered, that might come across as peculiar. "I have plenty in mind, Cressida." His voice was strange, a little more like a purr than a standard, straight speaking voice one might expect from Okeanos. "Tell me, what are your abilities?" He tapped his tongue against the roof of his mouth. "Where do you live?" The questions had suddenly gotten remarkably personal.

She was expecting some bizarre task or game, but what she got was questions.
Really, probing questions. She almost missed that he said her name, her real name for the first time over the months they had known each other. He did know it! He did remember it. Why did his vibe suddenly change?
It made her more uneasy than he ever had before, simply because he was not acting like the Okeanos she had come to know. He'd never expressed so much interest in her. Why now? What had she done different?
The questions themselves seemed innocent enough, but she didn't know why the sudden curiosity. "I'll tell you, if you answer the same questions." She already knew from their first meeting that this area was pretty much so home to him. But she didn't know what his abilities were. "I'll start though." She extended her left arm fully while her right hand lifted to it. Gently she touched one of the sparkly stars on her shoulder, and dragged her finger down her arm. The star that she touched followed where she traced until it reached her left hands fingertips, where suddenly it sparked to life. A physical, very sharp star. She took hold of it with her right thumb and index finger, and threw it with a quick flick so it soared past Okeanos and buried itself into the truck of a tree. Then slowly it disappeared, but not without leaving a noticeable dent.

There may have been a reason for the questions, perhaps, because he seemed quite interested in knowing what she did. When she suddenly pulled a star off her body and flung it like a shuriken, his eyes widened in nothing short of glee. It would be easy to imagine a more sane pae'il perhaps clapping at the occurrence. The mark it left was not deep, but it was enough to catch Okeanos' notice, and he motioned in the air, as if tracing his fingers across the tree where it had got hit though he was several feet away from it. "Good, good," he murmured, before turning back towards Cressida. "Very well, Green!" It was at that point he turned back towards the cliff and teetered over the edge, looking near ready to make a swan dive off it. A moment or two passed, before he cackled, swirling around and throwing his arms forward. While there was no visible change up above, if Cressida had followed him to attempt to see what he was doing, she would notice a large splash of water against the side of the cliff, shaking the ground. The joy on his face seemed sinister.

What ever he saw that pleased him, she didn't rightly know. But he was happy about it...which was...good? Possibly? She still felt like her hand was being shoved into a fire. At least he was back to calling her Green, that made her feel a little better. Strange how she was now accustomed to it.
At first she didn't notice anything, until she realized she might not be able to see from her seated position. The female smoothly stood and walked over to peer over the edge. His frantic waving of his arms suddenly made sense. As the wave splashed against the cliffside, she softly gasped when it literally made the ground beneath her feet shake. What power! She would hate to be on the receiving end of his attack. Her emerald eyes flicked to the side to the Naiad cackling. Her power was quick, and almost elegant. His power was powerful, and a bit frightening. "That's actually quite the fitting power for you." Particularly a horrifying power for him to have as imbalanced as he was. He could do quite a lot of damage.
As she took a step back from the edge, she thought about his first question of where she resided. Was it wise to give up her location?
There was no way for him, a loner to know her ties to Raken. And as a naiad he wouldn't have the animosity as the faun did.
Besides, they were friends. Right? "I live not too far off from the fae clearing in Loka Nei." She'd offer to show him, but he didn't seem like the kind of pae to bring round to the folks.

It seemed he forgot someone was there for a few moments, until Cressida began to speak, and even then, it took him a few moments to come down from his seeming high, delight in his eyes not fading. Using his abilities gave him an undeniable rush and a pep in his step, along with a deeper tone in his voice, ringing stronger than the others. "Ah, Green, it is beyond perfect." Indeed, that was probably a horrifying power for him to have, all things considered. It took him a few more moments to actually move away from the edge. Fae Clearing in Loka Nei. That was noted, tucked away in his mind along with the real name of Green, probably. "We could go to your place." What? "Green could eat the green apples and become green herself..." And he laughed.

With power coursing through his veins, he looked tougher, stronger, even more confident...
It was almost attractive.
But then he mentioned the exact thing that she pointedly did not want to do. Which was take him to her home. Why the sudden interest in her life anyway? All she did was bring him food!
His next statement quite frankly confused her, as she couldn't think of why he'd want her any greener. The only parts that weren't green were her limbs and her hair. "We could, but you'd probably frighten my mother." She spoke dryly, but truthfully. That was half of the reason she was hesitant to bring him over.
Imagine, the first boy she ever brought home, and it was Okeanos.

It was hard to say why Okeanos was taking the sudden interest he was. It seemed to be prompted by asking her to do something -- perhaps there were some gears turning in his head, with all those questions? "Ah, but Green! Frightening the blood, isn't that the best way to have fun?" ... Yes, indeed, the gears were turning in his head, and probably not in the way Cressida wanted to hear. Was it a goal of his to frighten her mother? Why was that a goal? So many questions could be asked, but Okeanos didn't seem to want to give a verbal answer for any of them. Perhaps, more than that, he didn't have a verbal answer for any of them. Perhaps he just wanted to. "Eat the fruit, become one with the Green!" And he snickered again, like this was all very funny.

Normally she'd agree, as the thought of freaking out her parents with her choice of friend was amusing to her.
But could he be trusted? He wasn't a faun but he definitely gave the vibe of only caring for himself. Was there a way to make it so this wouldn't backfire? If only there was something she could use as leverage...
Though when push came to shove, she didn't really know anything about the naiad.
On the other hand, there was a teensy, little bit of her that was a little...happy that he was taking an interest in her. Maybe for once she should trust another pae? Maybe...maybe just once it wouldn't blow up in her face? "...When would you want to go?"Seiana_Zi NO CRESSY! NOOOOOO! T___T

When she hesitantly accepted his suggestion, Okeanos nearly cackled. Perhaps that may have been a little foreboding, but Okeanos seemed legitimately delighted that she had gone along with his offer. Was it because frightening the blood, as he called it, was the best way to have fun, truly? Or was it because he had his own agenda? Or was it because, as Cressida hoped, Okeanos was legitimately interested in her? "Ah, why not a surprise?!" There was a deviousness in his eyes. "That's what makes it the most fun!" ... What was he up to?

So...he was just randomly going to pop by her tree?
Dear Guardians have mercy.
"True. But what if you swing by when I'm not home?" Wait. The words left her lips before she properly thought about that. Him meeting her folks when she wasn't there was possibly the worst thing she could imagine.
She'd rather him fling tree branches at her.

"Ah, ah, ah!" Okeanos tapped his chin, as if he came to a realization, before pointing that finger back at her. "But you have previously implied you do not have many you speak to other than me! Surely, this means you do not exit your abode terribly often!" Something about him seemed so excited by this conclusion, as if he was excited to show that he was learning, or what he had learned, or perhaps just to show how much he really already knew about the one who called herself 'Cressida,' and the one he insisted on calling 'Green'--with the exception of the rare, disturbing occasions he decided to whip out her name for the fun of if, just to watch her reaction. Or was he doing it because he just had remembered her name, randomly? Hm. His eyes flicked up to the sky again, observing a stray cloud, before snapping back to Cressida's eyes again, locking on like a vulture locking onto its prey. "Would you have a preference?" A laugh.

Her eyes slightly widened in surprise as he called out her habits, taken aback.
He actually listened to her?
Why did that make her happy?! She quickly stifled the smile that had been sneaking onto her face. Stupid tricky Okeanos. Who cares? You don't care. You don't care at all. She inwardly chastised herself, trying to quickly rebuild her walls. What if he saw that? He'd never let it slide!
"Well, I do hunt. But most of the time, you'd probably find me at home." Cressida ate one more piece of apple before picking up the plates to put back into the basket. She chewed and swallowed before answering. "But I'd certainly prefer to be home to not being home. My parents...my parents..." She frowned, searching for the right word for them. Ultimately she couldn't. "They jump to conclusions."

The green one seemed quite frazzled when she suddenly realized Okeanos had been right, that she wasn't babbling to air, or perhaps that was a smile, and it made the naiad laugh. He seemed to find a lot of things quite hilarious when he was around her. Then again, perhaps he found a lot of things hilarious in general. When had Cressida seen him around anyone else...? "Jump to conclusions? Ah, but that could be hilarious in itself." Okeanos grinned, perhaps not getting what she meant, or perhaps getting what she meant and finding it hysterical. "Very well! We shall go at your choosing, if you so wish, at a later date!" With that, he unceremoniously laid back on the grass, looking up at the sky, suddenly quite entranced with another one of those stray clouds...

He didn't notice. Or at least, she didn't think he noticed. Then again, the naiad was proving much more observational than she previously thought. She relaxed slightly as he agreed to wait until she picked a date. A little bit more control, even if it was only a facade. "Perhaps in three days." Enough time to tell her folks, get the place cleaned up, prepare a good meal, hopefully convince her siblings to go far away.
Very, very far away.
She felt like a lot had been accomplished, though really it was just in comparison to how little anything happened in their previous meetings. She was relieved that he was well, found out he liked fish, and had something of a semblance of a real conversation. The female began packing up, thinking to herself that it might be best to leave now before she ended up jinxing their surprisingly pleasant afternoon together. "You may even like them. They at least don't try to punch random strangers." She spoke with a bit of a chuckle, recalling their first meeting. If she knew then what she knew now, she would have never tried to hit him. It didn't work any way, and with his power he could have easily pulverized the untrained, barely an adult girl she was.

Indeed, Okeanos was a bit more observant than she had previously thought, and still he was observing, noticing that she was now getting ready to leave, while making plans for the next time they would meet. Three days. Three days was not a long time from current, but he seemed alright with it, giving a careless shrug that was probably hard for her to make out from his position in the grass. That seemed to be as much of a confirmation as he would give, too busy paying attention to the clouds as they floated by to give much of a care otherwise. That was, until she mentioned liking them and not trying to punch random strangers. Okeanos seemed to recall what she found amusing, letting out a brief, uproarious laugh. "Ah, how foolish! It is surprising Green is not a member of the Sea." Just in case Cressida was starting to get comfortable, and all. "It shall be an interesting time!"
